My husband and I got married in Charleston on 9/29/18. Out of the Garden did an amazing job with our florals. Along with our planner Erin Altman it was truly a dream come true. We worked with Holly and from our first meeting she immediately understood my vision. She was very sweet, thorough and a pleasure to work with. We chose very unique, non-traditional florals for our wedding. Mostly grasses and greenery. We had an amazing circle arbor and hanging florals from Edison boards. It was everything I could have asked for and more. Holly and Out of the Garden are the best!!! xo Jamie and Brian Clabby

Staff is wonderful and helpful. However, the day of the wedding, I was very disappointed with the quality of flowers and quantity used. My bridesmaid bouquets were very small and loose. It was embarrassing. Their flowers (including bride bouquet) did not look fresh and died within 35 mins of delivery. It looked like they did the bare minimum. Mother’s wristband was the worst I’ve ever seen. My father’s boutonnière couldn’t be pinned and fell apart. I was shocked because when I talked to the florist about my flower plan and the kind of flowers I chose, I was happy with the quality and their photos of previous weddings. My flowers were not worth the $5,000 I spent. On a positive note, I was happy with the flowers on the harbor.

Although the flowers at my daughter’s wedding were beautiful, her color theme was completely ignored. Her colors were supposed to be orange and blue (their school colors), but instead the predominant colors appeared to be rosy red and yellow. My daughter even said to me that she thought she had gotten someone else’s flowers. In addition, the flowers either were not fresh or just wilted from the heat. My corsage didn’t even make it through dinner. And the bridal bouquet had to be tossed away the next day. And no one even asked me at the end of the evening if I wanted the flowers. Not sure what they did with them but I had planned to use them at the brunch at my home the next day. I had not bought any flowers as I thought I’d have plenty from the wedding. We were even planning to donate them afterwards. Very disappointed. I have included some photos of the flowers. Cannot tell that the colors were supposed to be orange and blue by looking at the pictures of the most prominent flowers in the wedding—the bridesmaids’ bouquets, the cross behind the altar, the cake and the head table. I also have a pic of the not so fresh day after bridal bouquet. Starting to wonder if generic flowers are ordered so that they can just use them for all their weddings that weekend.
