If you value presentation do not order from here. Yes, majority of the types of flowers I ordered were in the arrangement, however they were just thrown into a vase with a tacky bow. I do not recommended this florist. I was embarrassed by what arrived at my mother's job for Mother's Day.

My wife received mothers day flowers late Monday after Mothers day. They were already wilted. PS I I received a call from Elgin Flower Shop and was told that 800 Flowers had overbooked and they received the request to deliver the flowers on Monday.

Flowers were ok however balloon that was delivered was already deflating. It lasted only 2 days. What a waste of money! They would replace the balloon, but it should never have been delivered in the condition it was delivered in.

Paid $144 for a funeral wreath which was tiny. Waste of money.

Zero stars.(Had to give 1 star just to post review) I wish he would have waited or read the before order google reviews, the arrangement was not beautiful AT ALL just looked thrown together dying edges on several flowers, broken pieces, no care instructions. My husband asked me if I loved them and I had to be honest and say NO one being that was the truth the other is I did not want him to think he found a florist that he could continue to go to. SAD

I had ordered flowers for my stepmother, for Mother's Day, through Teleflora. They utterly failed - no delivery, no notification to me by phone or email, but rapid charging of my credit card. I decided to try the florists in the area, and Elgin Flowers and Gifts were open and answered my call (unlike others, where I was expected to leave a message). The shop owner was very helpful and made sure that she knew what I wanted from their website, and she verified that they could deliver the flowers to my folks' address. I spoke to my stepmother the next day, and she told me that the flowers were delivered on the same day I ordered them, in the afternoon. I was thrilled, and will definitely use them again.

I ordered flowers for my wife on 1-800-FLOWERS, and they chose Elgin Flowers to make the arrangement. The arrangement my wife received was pitiful. There were large gaps in the arrangement, and the flowers just lined the edge of the vase. There were also no lilies in the arrangement, and that was supposed to be one of the main flowers included. Spend your money somewhere else!
