Horrible experience, walked in to pick up flowers today to work on the bouquet for my wedding. I asked for greenery and baby’s breath and three women stood be hind the counter looking at me with out offering any assistance. I’m headed to Christina’s shop in Winnsboro now.

Beautiful arrangements and friendly service! Purchased balloons for my daughters birthday and the floral shop was also able to inflate them all at a great price. Definitely recommend these guys!

I'm looking for a florist to buy bouquets. There seems to be a disparity in the reviews. The good reviews are extreme, all 5 stars and just too perfect. It sounds like they're really good friends trying to prop up the business. There are 2 bad reviews but only one with a comment. But the one with a comment seems more genuine and detailed even though she made it sound a little more dramatic than it had to be. After reading all the reviews, I'll avoid coming here. UPDATE: The owner called me (a few hours later) about her concerns on my conclusion to the reviews. She told me that most of the reviews are accurate including the one lengthy bad review. I told her I already bought the bouquets somewhere else but I will take off this review since she called and took her reviews very seriously, which I appreciated considering that most (I think) owners doesn't seem to care about consumer reviews. But instead of stopping there, she proceeded to tell me that she has been in business for over (I think she said 25 or 30) years, tells me how much she makes, and then proceeded to say that her business is most likely older than me (what are you insinuating?). I told her I am 40 years old. Adding insult to injury, she started lecturing me about how I should be careful writing reviews. Since she wouldn't stop her lectures, I hung up on her. Instead of taking off this review, I thought its best to keep it here and let others decide. To the owner: Ma'am, insulting and lecturing a consumer is not the best approach, at least I don't think so, specially when I already said that I am taking off the review. But I do appreciate the cordial(?) call.

I was deciding on where I should buy flowers from for my mother's birthday. I heard about Blythewood florist and I saw the positive reviews on here so I decided to go there for my flowers. When I walked in it was very, very cramped. I walked around the store in circles a few times, and neither of the girls working ever said a word to me. Then, the owner walked out and looked at me, then walked away. I saw the refrigerator that only had a few flowers inside of it. I didn't really like any of them, especially because most of them looked like they were dying. I finally decided on getting ten pink flowers from the refrigerator in a green vase. My mother's favorite color is blue, so I asked the two girls if there was any way I could get a blue vase instead and the owner came out and said no. I don't see what is so hard about making a customer happy and giving them the vase they want. I was upset about it but then I figured I would just buy a vase after I left. The price was about $75 and I thought about the high price for ten flowers and not being able to get a blue vase so I would have to spend more money on top of the $75 to get the vase I wanted. I decided to just buy my mother's flowers online instead, since I did not appreciate not being helped, the owner ignoring me, and the price being so high for only ten flowers and I couldn't even get the vase I wanted. When I said that I would just get them online, the owner gave me a dirty look and told one of the girls to put the flowers back. If she had just offered me the vase I wanted, I would've gotten the flowers. I was shocked by how she acted. I have never been treated like this by an owner. I went online and I was able to buy my mother 18 beautiful pink roses in a blue vase with a blue ribbon on the vase for $62. Overall, I am extremely shocked at the positive reviews. I was expecting great customer service and beautiful flowers for a great price. Instead I was rudely ignored by the owner and found ten flowers that were over 70 dollars and I couldn't even get the vase that I wanted. When I asked for the vase I wanted I was told flat out no. To top it off, when I told her I was just going to go online she got angry with me and walked away. Most of the flowers they had were dying, it was extremely cramped and cluttered, there were many plants and not that many flowers, and I did not get any help from the employees or the owner. I will never come back here. I am truly shocked at the positive reviews, my experience was absolutely horrible.

I received a beautiful dozen roses for my 16th wedding anniversary. My husband picked some gorgeous orange roses online, but he was quickly contacted they didn't have enough to make the bouquet he wanted, so he was sent options about a similar flower that was equally as beautiful. I have had my roses on my counter for 2+ weeks and they are still gorgeous and still smells amazing! I can't comment on the price because they were a gift but I would recommend this florist strictly based on quality! I wish I could attach a picture so you could see how beautiful these roses are are after so long!!

Pretty arrangement, but unfortunately it did not come looking like the picture I picked out from their website. I even was told to wait a day for a delivery to make it look like the picture, and it still didn’t.

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago. It was very dirty and cramped. I could barely walk around without walking into pots and plants. The owner was very rude. I asked her if they had a book that I could look through and she said "Look around the room". The reason I asked for a book is because all I saw around the room were plants all over the shelves, displays, and plants all over the floors. They definitely had more plants than flowers which was disappointing. I ended up buying flowers that were a mix of daisy's, some purple flowers, and some dark pink flowers. (They only had five vases of flowers in the fridge and that seemed like the best of the group). They died two days later. I should've bought from somewhere else. I only went here because the reviews were good, I don't understand how. I didn't appreciate the flowers dying so quickly, especially because I paid $60 for them. I could've bought online and gotten real roses for my sisters birthday. Instead, I gave this place a try and I regret it.

I have ordered flowers many times from Blythewood Florist, as we live in Tallahassee ,Florida . Every time they are always fantastic with their customer service and provide excellent high quality flowers. If you want specific flowers or colors they always are very helpful and the flowers are fresh and long lasting. Because I also grow and do flowers ,it's important to me to have someone who will talk to me about specific flowers and I know what I've ordered is being sent. I use them for all occasions and they have never let me down. They are easy to reach and always add a special touch for the person I'm sending my flowers too. For me, they are the best in Columbia-Blythewood area and there are never any surprise added costs like when you order on-line or disappointments with what I have sent. Flowers are a gift I love to send and have a very special meaning for me and everyone I send them to I want to make sure they feel loved and special.

I live out of state and ordered flowers for my mother-in-law through Gloriosa Florists. It was easy to order online, and the shop called me within an hour of my order to confirm that some very slight changes to my order were acceptable. The flowers were delivered promptly and looked amazing! The shop also sent me a delivery confirmation via email. I would highly recommend Gloriosa Florists, even if you don't live in the Blythewood area.
