Recently I contacted Belva's Flower Shop to order a bridal bouquet for a couple planning to marry on the beach at Isle of Palms. I did not have time to visit the shop (being 6 hours away!) and had to rely upon the staff at Belva's to help me. I was "flying blind" as it were, and praying that I had picked the right place to help! They did an OUTSTANDING JOB. The staff was very knowledgeable and definitely went the extra mile. . . even to working a seemingly random item into the bouquet since it was meaningful to the couple. Since the wedding was to be on the beach, they even worked some shells into the arrangement so that the couple would have mementos of their wedding. The finished result was beautiful, and the bride was exceedingly please. This company could have done anything with my order. . . what would I have done, being so far away? It is obviously that Belva's Flowershop takes great pride in what they do, and that taking care of all of their clients is of the first priority with them. My only regret is that I can't publish a photo of the wedding bouquet with this review!

We are a flower shop in Central Arkansas, we called Belva's to delivery an arrangement there in Mt. Pleasant. We heard from our customer and they were beyond pleased. The recipient of the arrangement said "we picked the best flower shop in town" I can tell you it is a blessing when we wire flowers, knowing nothing about the flower shop and the do an outstanding job. These folks have been in business for over 60 years, and have a following of old and new people for a reason! They deliver for me anywhere in the Charleston area, or you can pick up in their shop yourself. Lovely, fresh, creative arrangements--they do modern and/or traditional, beautiful work and awesome customer service!

I ordered flowers for local delivery for my sister's birthday [I live out of state]. I didn't know she decided to go out of town and Belva's just left the flowers at her door in 90 degree heat. Two days later, my sister got an unpleasant birthday surprise when she arrived home. When I complained that they didn't confirm someone was home to accept the delivery, they said they left a voice mail message!? They later said they would send her something to make up for it. They sent a crap arrangement - not the $60 bouquet I paid for. I prefer to buy local directly ... I'll keep searching for a responsible florist.

I placed an order for a "Welcome Home" basket of flowers to be delivered to my girlfriend house at the on the day she arrived home from a 2 day drive across country. It was important that they arrive when she got there so the flowers would be fresh. I spoke several times with your staff and they went out of their way to ensure that flowers looked the best when they arrived. My girlfriend was shocked and happily surprised by the arrangement. Not only was the arrange perfect, so was the timing. Thank you for making this a perfect experience.

I've used Belva's for years and never had an issue with them, so when I ordered flowers for my fiancee for Valentine's Day, I didn't think twice for who I would call. I was a bit surprised yesterday when I didn't receive a text from her or anything, and she didn't mention anything when she got home. Finally, I asked her, only to find she didn't receive anything. I called Belva's this morning and spoke to a girl who plainly said "yea, we were busy yesterday. We're planning on delivering them today". When I remarked that this wouldn't work, since today isn't Valentine's Day, she replied "as long as she gets them, right?", then told me she couldn't authorize a refund. That girl just didn't get it. The thing is, I didn't even get a call - if they'd called, I would have picked them up and delivered them myself. I don't know what's going on over there, but they lost a longtime customer. When they absolutely have to get there, you may want to think about using someone else. Never again. One star is about 6 too many for the lack of service I received from them.

The guy charged me $85 for a dozen roses. They died in 5 days. This is in all honesty! I got my gf 6 roses from Harris teeter and they lasted much longer!

I'm in Atlanta and called for a birthday bouquet to be delivered same day to my cousin in Mt. Pleasant. No problem! However, big problem in delivery. Cousin was out of town for 3 weeks! Chris left the bouquet with a neighbor to enjoy, then volunteered to re-deliver the order the day after the 3 weeks. She did just that - AND refused to charge me again. My cousin just emailed a photo of the bouquet to me, and as she remarked, and I agree, "The flowers are extravagantly beautiful!" Who does this these days?
