City Gardens is a beautiful oasis of a flower shop! You step down from the sidewalk into a small room filled with tons of selections of stems and potted plants. It smells good in there and every where you look there is something inspiring to check out. I went in today with a friend to select something for his dad’s birthday and was delighted to be in the store. After considering the single stems both in and out of the fridge (all the flowers looked super healthy!), my friend decided on a small orchid. Gary expertly moves the plant from the plastic pot into a terra cotta pot, watered it, added a ribbon, and tucked it into a box so that it would travel safely— all while having a nice conversation. I have also had the pleasure of seeing Gary’s bouquet arrangements and they are always so well composed.

City Gardens owner Gary is suited perfectly for his business because he grows on you! After warming up to my partner and me, Gary was super helpful with showing us what he thought would work for our party. He really had fun telling us how our ideas wouldn't work and in the end he was absolutely right. His arrangements were the talk of the evening. Thanks, Gary!

You literally have one job as a florist – deliver the flowers. Yet this was not done. I ordered flowers to be delivered for my fiance’s bridal shower. They were given a time and a location. But the flowers were never delivered. Upon calling them, there was no apology. No offer or attempt to rectify this situation. They merely said that they did not realize the time listed meant a delivery time, and they would still be delivered to the restaurant hours after the bridal shower was over. Entirely unhelpful. If you can’t get your one job correct, you should not be in business.

I called today to order flowers for someone's birthday. The woman who answered the phone, Kate was extremely rude and actually hung up on me. Kate should not interact with customers at all. I have ordered flowers from this business many times before with no problems. Kate was very unprofessional and sounded angry from the begining. . If she continues to treat customers like garbage and hang up on them, you will loose many loyal customers.

I found the staff not only to be extremely rude, but dishonest, disrespectful, and VERY unprofessional (intentionly hanging up on me twice). Once a loyal customer, but I will not be doing business with Gary and his staff at City Gardens again.

I ordered flowers and it was delivered and I was embarrassed to have sent it. It looked so cheap and the owner claimed the flowers have still not opened yet. I asked where the roses were and he said they had none in stock. Then don’t take orders for flowers that you don’t carry or at least make the arrangement look fuller by using other flowers. So disappointed.
