If I could give 0 stars right now I would. My boyfriend ordered a surprise arrangement for me that was set to be delivered Wednesday. When he called to check on the status of the delivery, he was told delivery went to the "wrong side of the city when looking for my residence" and was told it would be sent the next day. He notified them I work the night shift and he was reassured they could be delivered late afternoon. The following day, delivery was attempted LATE MORNING while I was asleep after a 12hr night shift. I returned delivery's phone call and we agreed they would come today, Friday, at 10:00am, closer to the time that I get home from work.4 hours later, no delivery. My boyfriend calls the location a 3rd time to check on delivery status and he was notified that "delivery was attempted again today, no one was home". This was false. I was up waiting after work and family members were home. I called delivery and he assured me delivery had not been attempted (even though we said morning) and he had not come to my side of the city yet. Super unprofessional. Poor communication. Take business else where.

This place does a wonderful job with their floral arrangements. My daughter is attending school in RI and we live in VT. I ordered an arrangement online and had it delivered to her dorm, she received the beautiful arrangement first thing this morning.

I have been ordering beautiful floral, holiday and special occasion arrangements for over 30+ years from Check The Florist. Just recently I had my first grandson and of course made the immediate call to Check to order an New Baby arrangement to Congratulate the proud parents on their beautiful new baby. The arrangement was beautiful and they appreciated it so much. I then followed up with ordering a Christmas Holiday arrangement from Check to welcome them all home with the best gift they could ever ask for, their new born son. This holiday arrangement was incredibly festive and awesome as well. I would like to send a special thanks to Caitlin for doing such a great job in helping my pick out the perfect arrangements for these so very special moments in our lives at this time and holiday season. Her kindness and great professional service has made our holiday so much more special to remember. I am a life long customer and recommend to all if you want that very special something for whatever occasion you may need a floral arrangement for, call Check! The staff I spoke to over the phone were very attentive, very sweet and super easy to deal with! I changed my mind about 10 times because I was so nervous about my first time ordering flowers online for my fiance's birthday, I live 2 states away and wanted them to be delivered to her at work as a surprise. Well, lets just say I will be back to do business for all of my floral needs. The flower arrangement was absolutely perfect, the arrangement+delivery was very quick and my girlfriend was brought to tears with excitement so thank you to the staff for your help! I highly recommend the customer service at Check the Florist and would gladly order from them again. I live in Wisconsin and ordered a bouquet to greet my girlfriend who had just moved to Providence for work. I had them delivered to greet her on a Friday when she was to arrive. Well, her plans got rearranged, and it turned out that she wasn't able to move in until that following Sunday. Needless to say, they were nowhere to be found on Sunday when she arrived, and I felt awful! In retrospect, this mix-up was really my fault. It turns out that she doesn't live in the greatest of neighborhoods, and I picked a delivery date that she ended up not being present for. (I did receive an online delivery confirmation, so I'm guessing someone simply walked off with the bouquet shortly after the delivery and before my girlfriend's roommates came home from work.) Still, I decided to call Check the Florist just to clarify that they were in fact delivered and to see if I had any options to replace the order. The man I spoke with was very kind! He knew all about my order before I even finished describing it, and he insisted upon replacing the entire order free of charge! Now, my girlfriend has a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, and it didn't cost me any extra time, stress, or money. I'm very grateful, and I look forward to ordering flowers here again in the future.

Two days after buying a dozen roses (6 white and six red) all of them were facing the ground. Stay away from this florist. One star because at least they were beautiful when I bought them.

Check the Florist will always be my go to !!!! This place has been in business for almost 100 years and its for a reason :) Mitchell is a wonderful man to work with and i wouldn't go anywhere else. Very expensive, I stop by to get a rose for the wife, cashier told me the price, then she ignore me. I waited til she finish working with a base, another customer came and help him because he was getting a 60 dollar purchase, but I was clearly in line first. I told her and left.

DO NOT USE THE INTERNET TO PLACE YOUR ORDER WITH THIS FLORIST. I placed an order. I found out the next day when the delievery wasnt made and finally got the owner on the phone, they didn't have the plant. No one called me but, they did PUT THE CHARGE THROUGH MY BANK. I called three times and sent an email before getting the owner on the phone who BLEW ME OFF! His employee told me "you only paid $52.00" WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH IT?! The owner, Mitchell told me he had a funeral and ALL OTHER BUSINESS HAD TO WAIT. Imagine that!! As a florist, a business that has been operating since 1928, you would think they could do what florists do... funerals, weddings, retirements, birthdays, AND ONLY A $52.00 ORDER! I don't know you, but, I think $52.00 is ALOT TO BE BLOWN OFF! There are way too many other florists in Providence to be dismissed by ANYONE!

These folks did my wedding 20 years ago. Guests still remember the spectacular flower arrangements on the dinner tables. Even though I moved out of state, I always call them to deliver to my RI family. When my mom gets her flowers, she calls me back in tears of joy at how beautiful they are. She has them for a good two weeks before they really start to die off. Love the folks at Check!
