Thank you for carrying out ORDER #176744913 with so much care and consideration. I was not at home when the delivery was made, and it's not easy to get into my building without someone to answer the door. However, you did not leave the flowers outside and you even left me a phone message. Adding to the very professional delivery the beauty of the bouquet and the freshness of the flowers- all topped with the very inspired warning about the watering procedure- I declare myself extremely happy to have been served by your flower shop.

Paid 95 dollars for a bouquet for a friend's grandmother that passed away, and it looked like it was worth $35 on a good day. We called and asked rectification as the people took a picture of the bouquet and we could see it was not worth $95. We spoke to Penny's and they were going to take the bouquet back, and send another one. We were appalled that this was given as a rectification of the issue. We settled on a 25 dollar credit, but would never use this place again, as it is a rip off and when you have a problem; they offered ridiculous solutions. How could you return a bouquet that was sent and replace it with another one. Who does that?

Learned my lesson the hard way about 1800 flower places. ALWAYS find a local florist and call them direct and if you need flowers in Glenside PA, Penny's is awesome! Beautiful bouquet delivered same day for a very reasonable price. Thank you so much! my wife loved them.

Researched & found this florist for my sons prom to order coursage & boutinir. Ordered the night before, left specific instructions for colors to match. I spoke with staff confirmed order & pick up time. I arrived 1 hour later to ensure the order was complete. First, the coursage flowers were white & browning on the edges. Second The boutinir was pink & did not match! Third, the wristlet was not what I ordered and fourth, the staff had not read the instructions at all. Finally, the staff seemed extremely inexperienced at creating a coursage. For an establishment to have been in business for 40+ years the service & product were awful!. I have had prettier & cheaper coursages done this. The flowers began to fall off before the young lady, left her home. Just embarrassing. I will never use or recommend this establishment for anything!

Not sure why there are complaints on here. I just had a 50.00 arrangement delivered to someone and the flowers are gorgeous! I asked for a masculine arrangement and they picked perfect flowers. I've added a pic, but not sure everyone can access it. Not sure what people are hoping to get for 50.00, but flowers delivered aren't cheap. However, I feel like they did an awesome job for 50.00. I'm very happy with what I got for what I spent.

I've used Penny's before many times. Today they helped me get beautiful flowers to my sister in hospital near penn state. They were beautiful. The staff were very helpful and I got my money's worth.

too expensive- $80 for a dozen delivered roses. Ended up paying less ordering from TX overnight shipment. Plus that merchant added a balloon for my occasion.

I ordered white and pink(s) , roses,peonies, snapdragons etc. I asked them to make it elegant and full. When it arrived (at my office for my bosses birthday) I was in shock.! They were awful! So NOT full, looked wilted and no white flowers at all!!! The peonies (2) were so tight, that I know they won't open. I immediately called and told them about it. They said they would make another arrangement and take the original. I agreed. 2 hours later, they drop off a new arrangement, and this one is worse than the 1st!!!!! They decided to keep all the leaves on the flowers, (guess that's their way of making it look fuller)still wilted and horrible. I can't believe I had to pay for them. (Wasn't cheap!) I will NEVER get flowers from Penny's again. They get ZERO stars from me!

I live out of state and wanted to order a large Peace Lily for a grieving friend. Penny’s was one of the most user friendly websites and the only florist who could do delivery on a Saturday and same day for me. They actually had the plant to her doorstep within an hour and half of placing the order. Speedy and efficient.

I have lived in glenside over 30 years. I and our large family have used Penneys many times. I always had confidence in my orders, but no more. When I called and said I wanted to order 2 bunches to be delivered their immediate response was " how much do you want to spend? $50, 75 or $100?" . As if $50+ was common cost for flowers. I realise now I was set-up by this simple upsell trick. For $50 I expected each bunch to be very large. Say as large as I could put my arms around. Imagine my disappoint ment when each bunch was no larger than half that. Just to check I individually asked my wife, my daughter and my sister in law how much they thought I spent. All said $15 to $25 dollars. All 3 also said in almost the same words "of course they took advantage of you, your a guy, you ordered over the phone and since it wasnt going to your address they assumed you wouldnt see it"

Maria at Penny's made my wedding flowers in 2008 and they were absolutely gorgeous. The service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I have used other local florists and they aren't in the same ballpark as Penny's. I recently used Penny's for my brother's memorial service. I needed help in figuring out the scale of the flowers for 2 free-standing funeral arrangements. I even completely changed the color scheme at the last minute. Maria brought over the funeral consultant who was so very knowledgeable and helpful. I received a ton of compliments from the people at the memorial service on how beautiful the flowers were. A relative out of state wanted to send flowers and I was able to give her Maria's name and Penny's made her flowers to match the ones we already chose and delivered them all-together to the chapel. The flowers were fresh as can be and this was on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I am sure Penny's was crazy busy for Thanksgiving deliveries, but you would never know it with how calm and helpful the staff is. I had ordered an arrangement to be sent to my brother's memorial service in Kansas City by calling a florist directly vs. FTD and they assured me the flowers would be beautiful. I asked the florist to send me a picture of the flowers they made to show my Mother which they did. I was surprised at how few flowers there were. It was all greens and sticks and looked nothing like the flowers I picked out on their own website. And the cost was the same as Penny's. There was no comparison. I was embarrassed by what the florist in Kansas City sent. People don't realize how much flowers cost and if you use FTD, FTD provides the flowers, not Penny's. All FTD florists have to use the FTD stock which are not at all as fresh or as high end as a florist' s own stock. As far as the "gift" items in Penny's, it is like any other florist. If you are going to buy a stuffed animal, or candy, or other novelty, it is full retail plus. Know that before going in and don't expect the same price for "gift" items as you would find at Home Goods or other department stores. Bottom line, you can't do better than Penny's for flowers. For years and years we used Penny's for corsages etc. at Bishop McDevitt. They have a strong sense of community in Glenside and service a huge area. They want you to be satisfied as word of mouth is the best advertising. So thank you Maria and the whole staff at Penny's for reminding me why I go there. I never have to worry, especially at a difficult time, about what the arrangements will look like. After Christmas, Penny's puts certain items they made for display on sale and the prices are very reasonable for the work they put into these items.

I ordered some centerpieces for a graduation party. I met with the designer at Penny’s and only gave her a general idea of what I was looking for and a price range. What was delivered was far beyond my expectations! They were so beautiful and I got so many compliments! Thank you so much Penny’s!
