When I received the flowers from Maria's that my mother had ordered for me, they were not AT ALL what she had picked out online. Instead of 6+ roses, there were 3. Instead of bright, cheerful flowers as my mother had intended for my arrangement, they were dark, and somewhat sparsely arranged. The options online were 9 1/2 inches in height and width, or 10 1/2 inches in height and width, with the price increased accordingly. My mother ordered, and paid for the larger arrangement, however I received the smaller one. After my mother called to explain that the arrangement was not what she ordered, Maria NOT ONLY REFUSED TO FIX THE ISSUE, but ACTUALLY DEMANDED THAT WE RETURN THE FLOWERS SHE DELIVERED!! If THAT"S not poor business practice, then I do not know what is! I will not only not use Maria's in the future, but will not recommend her to any family, colleagues, or friends. This was an exremely disappointing experience, especially after reading Maria's mission statement:
"We are committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Because all of our customers are important, our professional staff is dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one. That is why we always go the extra mile to make your floral gift perfect. Let us be your first choice for flowers."
This is certainly not what they've shown in this situation. Shame on you Marias!
