Kris is a true artist and a joy to work with. I contacted her about 9 months ahead of our wedding to book her as she is in high demand in Eastern Oregon. She was a joy to work with, was very professional, and was able to create incredible flower arrangements for our wedding party, families and altar. She was very easy to reach by email and was super responsive to my ideas and we were able to effectively communicate my vision and how she would execute it. I trusted her to pick flowers and details as they were available in the area and in season. I coordinated a wedding for a bride who chose Bennett Gardens and Krisanthemums for her venue/florist. We were told we had up to 2 weeks before to make changes to our floral order. After reviewing budget, we decided to go with simpler centerpieces, which cut the amount of floral centerpieces we needed. When the bride called Kris 3 weeks prior to the wedding to make the change, she was extremely rude and said no changes could be made to the pricing. So, you can add to your order, but you certainly can't delete anything. She added, "I hope you understand how incredibly awkward this makes things now". I have been working in the industry for 10 years as an event coordinator and I have never met a florist who talked to a bride this way. Who tells a bride she has made things awkward? Especially when she's following policy? This is not the way of anyone serious about being in the hospitality industry. Also, I had to put the centerpieces out myself, from the fridge and Kris was no where to be found during the wedding. It's a shame this beautiful garden (Bennett) is one of the only venues in town because their customer service, hospitality and professionalism are lacking.

I loved working with Kris during the wedding planning process. We used Krisanthemums for the flowers & the Bennett Botanical Gardens for the ceremony and reception venue. Everything was beautiful. The ceremony space was perfect, we chose to have the ceremony in front of the water wall. We could not have picked a better venue to have our wedding, we are still getting compliments on how beautiful it was & our wedding was May 5th. The flowers & centerpieces were amazing as well. They blew me away, I couldn’t believe how beautiful they were. She was very understanding of the ideas that we had & I’m so glad I went with her suggestions. She took my original idea & made them 100 times better. She was extremely easy to work with. I didn’t have a hard time talking to her at all, something that doesn’t normally happen as I’m so shy. I wish I could put into words, how truly STUNNING all of Kris's arrangements are! She presented a few arrangements during my father's funeral. As you looked toward the alter, the KRISanthemums flowers stood out from all the rest. Gorgeous and different. There is a whimsy to them. From that day forward, she has made every arrangement I have ordered. I am in the Director that oversees the sponsor room at the Pendleton Round-Up. When I took over, I asked Kris if she would make arrangements to brighten up the room. I cannot tell you how many "Oooo's and awe's" we got from literally EVERYONE who walked it. Tasteful, elegant, whimsical...magical! She is a true artist! She has made arrangements for several events for me, both personally and professionally and each time, they have knocked my socks off! Kris is just plain AWESOME! She is super easy to communicate with, responds quickly, and is flexible to fit your needs. I’ve done business with her personally and professionally. Last Fall she put on a custom floral arrangement class for a business team building activity. The team members enjoyed this and the cost was very reasonable. I contacted Kris on a Monday evening to have a corsage and boutonniere made for Saturday. She was out of town until Thursday but was still willing to put something together for me anyway. The only direction I gave her was, "white flowers with black and white ribbon." She was very professional and her turnaround was amazing. When I went to pick up the flowers this morning, she was obviously very busy getting things sorted out for another event, but the fact that she made time to squeeze me in last minute meant so much.
