Poppy Lane Design did the florals for my daughter's wedding. Our meetings with Kelly and Jessie prior to the wedding went very well, and we were excited to work with them. My daughter knew exactly what she wanted in terms of colors and flowers, and everything was clearly detailed in the estimate and contract. Unfortunately, what we agreed on was not what Poppy Lane provided. The floral centerpieces on the reception tables had bright purple flowers instead of the dark maroon we were promised. The mothers were given what looked like sheaves of dried wheat (no blooms - just dried materials) instead of the white peonies we were promised. And the boutenniere's for the groomsmen literally fell apart as they tried to pin them onto their lapels. A family member had to run to Wal Mart to buy hot glue and floral tape to hold them together long enough for pictures and the ceremony. Neither Kelly nor Jessie showed up on the day of the wedding to deliver/set-up the flowers - they sent an assistant we had never met and who disappeared before we realized the problems with the flowers. And we never received any explanation of why we did not get the flowers we had agreed on. In fact, we never heard from Poppy Lane again. If you read some of their reviews on other wedding websites, you will see that our experience is not unique. Others have reported the same thing. I don't know why they seem to do a fantastic job for some events and completely drop the ball for others. Just be prepared for that possibility if you hire them.
