I had Gardenview Flowers for my wedding this past August, and although I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion, I was disappointed with my wedding bouquet. Everything else, including reception decor, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnières, and church decor was BEAUTIFUL, don’t get me wrong. And Jen was absolutely wonderful to work with and very patient, but I really feel like the team didn’t produce what I wanted for my bouquet at all, and of course that’s the piece I was most excited for.
I had asked for specific eucalyptus to be included and it wasn’t in there, I had given her pictures a long while back that were in the online planning form I filled out (and assumed she went off of), even a more recent discussion about the desire to have it look similar in shape and size to one of her other bride’s bouquets.... and it really didn’t look anything like it. Not nearly as full and lush with flowers as I had asked for but too piece-y, too much bright pink and red when I had asked for blush and maroon. We did make a change at the last meeting of no draping greens, but it felt like the color scheme and flowers I had originally asked for were forgotten.
Of course the day was absolutely beautiful and perfect and this was a mere hiccup, but it was definitely disappointing to see that my bouquet, although beautiful, just wasn’t what I had asked for and dreamed of.
Moral of the story is, they DO produce such beautiful flowers and arrangements, but brides - just be very clear about what your bouquet should look like, as maybe I wasn’t as clear and persistent as I should’ve been.
