I was very disappointed in the flowers I received from this place. My husband ordered me some and for $80 I got a very small, pathetic bouquet. There were three roses, three daises and a bunch of greens. I was shocked when I saw how much he spent! And he was shocked when he came home and saw them. Not only that but they wilted and started dying after only two days! So sad. I have a great husband who gets me flowers all the time and this was the worst experience. I would recommend English Garden in Raleigh as their bouquets never disappoint. Also, their delivery was slow. I didn't receive them until after 6:00pm and by that point the secret was blown as he asked if I received anything yet. Very disappointed and he will definitely not be using them again.

I sent someone some bad flowers during Valentines and had to send them some new ones as a sorry. I chose a topiary since I wanted them to get something other than a bouquet that would brighten up their home. This was absolutely eye cathing and exactly what I need. Wish they would send a picture before delivery though to reassure nervous people like me.

I stopped in last week and ordered 3 dozen roses for my girlfriend and had them scheduled to be delivered on the 21st. Theresa was very friendly and very helpful in helping me with my order. I found out this morning (20th) that my girlfriend was not going to be in her office on the 21st. I went in to panic mode! I immediately called North Raleigh Florist to find out if they could deliver them a day early. Theresa said she thought she could get them delivered before my girlfriend left work this afternoon. This is a terrible florist which lacks professionalism. I have lived in Raleigh all of my life and have received flowers or deliveries plenty of times from my boyfriend. Never has anyone left flowers outside in the damn heat and humidity! When I came home the flowers were turning brown and some of the flowers had dried out. I called the following day and spoke with Samantha who identified herself as the manager. I informed her what had happened and she assured me it would be resolved. Well it wasn’t. When the Gentleman arrived the flowers were a totally different arrangement and he asked for the old vase back as if I was lying. I then called Samantha and explained this was ridiculous. This was not the arrangement my boyfriend sent over and paid for.I explained first you all left my flowers outside in the heat while I wasn’t home and then sent the second arrangement less than what my boyfriend paid for. Not to mention you all are closing at 5 pm. Her response was you asked for us to come at 4 pm. I sent both arrangements back as requested by the driver. People need to do their job. My boyfriend could have purchased flowers from several other florists in Raleigh but he spent his money here. Money wasted and time. We will not use them again. They don’t care. Update on 1/16/18 A few months ago I wrote a review about North Raleigh Florist in reference to the service I received. I am updating my original review and providing additional feedback. Once I called NRF, they did fix the floral arrangement and brought an updated floral arrangement back to my house later that evening after store hours with a note apologizing. The gentleman also called me before leaving the flowers at my front door to let me know they attempted to redeliver my flowers. The floral arrangement was very pretty and I was glad they took the time to address my concern and make it right. Thank you for working late and for bringing me a new and more beautiful floral arrangement.

I've been using NRF for years and have never had a missed delivery, or issues with the arrangements. For Valentine's day I sent my wife a dozen roses and they were actually the best quality roses I've ever received. She was absolutely ecstatic about them. When I placed the order over the phone, the salesperson was patient and helpful. What do I know about what colors and arrangements to send, I just gave her a price range and she spent the time to walk me through the design and the colors. For the price, you can't go wrong and their customer service is the best.

It was easy to order using their online service. Ordered flowers for my wife the day before Valentines day and their website stated that it would be able to deliver the following day, valentines day. I called today, Valentines day, to ask if they would be able to have the flowers delivered prior to 5 pm because my wife works until 5 pm, they stated they could have it delivered by 5pm. I even offered to pick them up if they thought the delivery would be past 5 pm, i was assured that everything would be fine. My wife came home around 5:30 and she did not have any flowers :( I called and asked that the delivery come to my home residence and gave them the option for me to intercept the driver to get the flowers, they took my number and stated the driver would call me. I never received a phone call :( I called again and politely asked for a full refund, they obliged. I know it is Valentines Day and I should of probably called a couple days earlier but I feel as if I provided multiple solutions to make things right with no assistance from NRF. Quite disappointed and will from now on find a different florist. Their prices seemed reasonable for anyone who bothered to read all the way down here :)

The staff (we mostly deal with Pam) is amazing to work with, and they make it very simple. They are dependable and deliver when needed--often the same day we order. Now, imagine ordering a corsage for prom on the day of prom, Mother's Day weekend, on the same day as many other Wake County proms. North Raleigh Florist to the rescue! Beware of "substitutions". I ordered a premium "Zen Artistry" arrangement, which, true to its name, has a distinctive spare look described as "Purple dendrobium orchids, green carnations, dark pink Sweet William, an emerald palm leaf and other tropical greens are arranged in a square kiwi-colored container. Perfect when you've got a yen to send Zen!". The only original flower left in the arrangement that was actually sent were the orchids (and the little green berries). All other items were replaced with a totally different assortment of flowers and foliage resulting in a definitely non zen mishmash.

I can't even put into words how amazing every person that works for this company is, or how incredible their work is. I ordered online from them in a panic; 3 days before Mother's Day. The computer system messed up my mom's address and the message I wrote to her (it was in Spanish) I called and spoke to a super friendly individual who directed me to the proper person. My call and request was kindly heard and attended to. The computer system kept messing up a detail or two, so I had to begin an e-mail thread with them. I had a response immediately after every message I sent, Janice helped resolve everything in the end. To be totally honest, I ordered the most price efficient flower arrangement since it was on a whim, and they turned out absolutely beautiful. My mom was surprised, and so was I. I can't thank these people enough, and I will not stop recommending them enough!

Absolutely amazing. I've used North Raleigh on multiple occasions to send flowers to my girlfriend. On each of these occasions I've made special requests that they've never hesitated to accommodate. Most recently I requested the first available delivery slot that I'm almost certain was earlier than they normally schedule deliveries. My girlfriend was scheduled to be in meetings all day and would only be available in her office for a very short time early in the morning. The staff obliged and made sure everything was perfect for her birthday. The flowers are always beautiful but I keep coming back for the impeccable customer service. I could not be more satisfied.

I'm very happy with the service of this florist! They delivered some flowers to my mother in the hospital. But in the meantime, she had been moved to rehab. They went BACK over to the hospital, picked up the flowers, and took them across town to the rehab center. This was way beyond what was required of them, and was really helpful. My husband ordered doz roses for vday for me to be delivered to me at work as a surprise. He ordered online 3 days prior. Hub called me at 430 to see if I liked what I got. Didnt know he was sending anything. I did not receive them. He called my workplace to see if they were delivered and found they were not delivered there until 4:15pm and I leave work at 4pm Then he called florist to let them know and they made him feel terrible because he did not specify a time online and they said "Well, what would you like US to do?", just making him feel worse. He spent over $100 and received such poor service. What kind of place would deliver to a workplace that late? He was so upset, poor guy. He is so shy and he was sick with a cold but didnt want them to get stolen by security or cleanup crew, so he rushed to my office from his workplace in Durham to pick them up before the doors were locked for the night and delivered them to me at home himself. The flowers looked sad, like someone threw some left over flowers together. One rose a full 4 inches taller than the rest, one is so short it barely comes above lip of vase. Just terrible all around. HE gets major points for all the time, money and effort he went to. I was able to cut and arrange them so they look better now. I can assure you that we will be sure to tell all our friends about this our experience with this product, delivery and most especially the customer service.

North Raleigh Florist designed the beautiful flowers for my wedding at the Umstead Hotel last September. The set up was flawless, on-time, and exactly what I specified. I had several different types of arrangements including about 16 centerpieces (two different styles), a large piece for the card table, arrangements for the bars, about a dozen corsages/boutonnieres, 6 bouquets, flowers lining the aisle, pomander balls for the gazebo, and altar pieces. The quality of all of the flowers was great, and they were able to procure anemones (a flower I really wanted) during the off season when they are hard to get. Even when my mother-in-law decided during pictures that she no longer wanted a wrist corsage as I had ordered but instead a pin-on, the owner, Janice, quickly changed it for her as a courtesy. I couldn't have asked for better service or prettier arrangements!

Every year for Christmas we continue a family tradition started long ago by my grandmother and her sister in law--a gift of a dozen red roses to the family matriarch. They are gone now, and my mother is now the matriarch. North Raleigh Florist has been arranging and delivering Mother's Christmas roses for several years now, and they are always just beautiful--the service is excellent, the flowers always fresh, the arrangements impressive, the deliveries made promptly. I wouldn't think of calling anyone else for flowers in Raleigh. They are totally reliable and top drawer. (We also retired a show horse some years ago, and they made a beautiful rose and greenery blanket for the ceremony. You'd think they did it on a regular basis, it was so well done. Gorgeous!) I just got married last weekend and I had the pleasure of working with Samantha, the wedding coordinator/florist and she was wonderful and very encouraging. As someone who actually didn't want a wedding and was doing this for the parents, I had no idea what I wanted or even a theme. We went through many options and flower arrangements and she guided me on what things would look like with the color purple (we narrowed it down to purple) the end product was amazing. My center pieces, the bouquets and the ceremony pieces were beautiful. Most of my guests took pictures of the center pieces with our wedding programs and posted on Facebook because they turned out so well. Samantha was able to work in center pieces for the bridal head table which was so thoughtful. I would recommend them over and over again. What a pleasure to work with and most importantly Samantha was willing to work with the budget I had. The flowers really made my wedding something special. I still have my wedding bouquet in one of my cylinders, I want to keep it alive as long as possible, my bouquet was so pretty! They were elegant and that's what I was looking for.
