Horrible attitude from this business owner!!!, the single star is for the nice delivery lady!, I placed an order online with FTD. A beautiful 12 long stem bouquet of red roses and a dozen red carnations, for my wife's first Valentine day as my wife. The delivery lady brought to my newly wed wife a pathetic couple of carnations and a few roses. I was very polite and stated this is not what I paid $80.00 for. Now the delivery person was sweet as can be and she said we will clear this up, let me call the owner, I, a pastor; said yes Please, thank you! And she took the what would have been a far better deal at food lion weeds to her van. I closed my house door and in a few minutes the little old lady came back rang my door bell and stated Melissa says this is what you ordered. I said No mam it isn't even close. Let me show you my order so I bring up on my phone my order with FTD Mean!!! While Melissa is on the phone loudly saying yes it is, yes it is. Let me talk to him!!! The poor sweet lady driver says sir would you like to speak with the owner? Before I can answer and of course I said yes I do!!! She's screaming yes put him on the phone!!! Very loudly!!!!!!!! I honestly reached my arm way out because she's screaming. The driver even apologized. I get on the phone with the most rude business owner I ever had to deal with in my life. I'm trying to tell this woman... I paid eighty dollars for a beautiful set of long stem roses! She starts going into what cost she has to take out for this and that! And telling me that's what I get for doing business on the computer. And what money is left this is what I get. I'm at this point upset because I'm being spoken to by a stranger that my new brides Valentine's flowers are not her problem, a florist mind you!!!!!!!. I'm hurt because I can't fix my wife's special day this late in the game. And it's our first Valentine as husband and wife. I end up sending these pitiful looking $80.00 couple of reddish short stem flowers back! But let me say... FTD promptly refunded my bank account and I'll certainly continue to loyalty use FTD as long as they never spend my money with this probably on its way out of business woman ever again. Guess I will go to the grocery store to see if they can do better than Melissa for eighty dollars! Bet they can! Now I want to say this... I could not decide do I want to voice this or not!?!?, then I thought as a citizen I should let my fellow neighbors know might as well do your business with a community appreciative business like Foodlion. And that is what a review on a website is for! I really hope Melissa learns to do better and maybe this makes a difference and helps her realize people are all you have in business!!!
