Absolutely lovely! I needed to get some flowers for my sister’s birthday an hour on Saturday. I pulled up and they quickly threw together a gorgeous arrangement with various fresh flowers. It looked beautiful and my sister loved them. They also gave me two red roses just as a thank you to a new customer. I will definitely be back. They are very friendly, equipped and wonderful. Ordered flowers the day before a friend's birthday in NYC. The flowers arrived at 9:30am. I got an email confirmation the moment they arrived and the bouquet was lovely and smelled amazing. Slightly more affordable than other companies recommended by TIME OUT.

Mari was the designer that I worked with and she was so helpful keeping me updated and what was needed from my end. Mari also respected my budget and offered different solutions to help keep costs low! (Like renting the lily bowls!) Guests were complementing the centerpieces and bouquets all night long! The new owners have turned that store around for the better! I was pleased to find they now have hallmark cards and gifts in addition to their beauriful flower selection. The designers we're friendly, knowledgeable, and creative. They work quickly and stayed within my budget. The flowers lasted much longer than arrangements I've gotten elsewhere in Manhattan. We had to send a thank you gift for our host in Manhattan and we past by Blooming Affairs, they had amazing sellection of flower arrangments and other poted plants. We ended up sending a beautiful arrangement and our host was very happy with the flowers.

Really, there is nothing redeeming about this place. I paid $167 for a dozen and a half white roses the day before Valentine's day and was met with rude customer service and overall disappointing flowers which are covered with brown spots and wilted in some portions. Also, the $167 price tag got me nothing but the roses, no baby's breath or additional greens, wrapped tightly with plastic and a piece of straw. Part of me says that I shouldn't be surprised about the price-gouging because it's Valentine's Day, but the horrible service was completely unnecessary.

Wow, Today I walked into Flowers by Blooming Affairs looking for flowers for my fiancé and what ended up happening was nothing short of magical. The ladies I met behind the counter were awesome, they helped me design and arrangement that would blow my fiancé away. I walked in at 11am, and the flowers were on her desk by 2:30pm and by 2:32pm I was getting tons of text messages of how well I did in choosing flowers. Thanks Flowers by Blooming Affairs! There is a very small selection of very high quality and very expensive flowers here. You can buy a prearranged bouquet or pick from the selection of available blooms to make your own. The staff is very helpful. You can also find several hallmark cards for sale as well

Experienced an incredibly rude/dismissive cashier here today. I’m certain that “Hallmark” would consider rescinding partnership with this location - if they knew how dismissive the cashier can be. I was clearly told that they didn’t sell something - that I found as I left the store. The cashier was more interested in dismissing me than helping me. No apology was offered. I won’t be returning.

Wow TERRIBLE experience. My sister had bought me a $70 small succulent bowl on 10/14 which was beautiful. However, after two weeks, one of the succulents was completely moldy and dying, which should never happen to a succulent after 2 weeks no less (I had not watered it and have multiple other succulents in the house with no issues). I came into the store expecting absolutely no issue replacing the moldy one in the bowl. The owner wasn't here so the person attending the shop had me call her and she was completely unreasonable and refused to replace the moldy succulent. In fact her exact words were "plants die honey I'm sorry you have to pay to replace it". I asked her how that could be the case given that it had been two weeks and they're supposed to last months and she replied "they die in the store all the time". Well- in that case, you are selling low quality plants to lots of people in this city and I would certainly say that you should not be in business, notwithstanding your extremely poor customer service policies. Stand behind your merchandise and treat customers with the fair business practices they deserve.
