Last Wednesday, someone very special and very dear to so many people in/from Clovis had passed away. On Thursday, not able to go to Clovis, being from out of state and in Texas, I went online to find a company to order flowers to be delivered on Saturday to the funeral home; in time for the 1st visitation scheduled for Sunday. I found something lovely and wanted it to stand out and make her proud.... something I thought she would have loved. I wanted something beautiful and unique, like the woman I was sending them to. Not sure any flower could portray the beautiful woman that we all had just lost.
After many delays in delivery, many phone calls, emails, disappointments, the run around, incorrect guarantees, etc... only to find out late this afternoon, there would be no delivery due to the city it was in and no contracted local florist to deliver them, and almost $200 out of pocket and refund pending, I was just heartbroken and text my boyfriend; the son of the angel that passed.... So, like the amazing and strong, selfless man that he is...he took care of the problem and called Clovis Floral to arrange flowers, last minute, on my behalf.
I called to give my words to put on the card and spoke to Sonia.... not only was she warm and kind, she was reassuring me that she would make something truly special and take care of our requests for something unique and beautiful and have it delivered as soon as possible today. Sonia also gave the most genuine condolences and comforted me while I was emotional.
I wanted to share this with the owner/manager of this floral shop. You have a truly wonderful person working for you. And the floral arrangement she made came out beautifully and was a beautiful reflection of the beautiful and loving person who passed onto Heaven and for that I am forever thankful and grateful to her.
