Sent flowers as a surprise for a birthday. It was embarrassing to hear "it was a nice gesture, but the flowers are broken/dying". The company did offer to provide replacement flowers, but was not able to come out until the following day. This did take away from what was supposed to be a nice surprise gesture. I had to ask the recipient to be home the next day to receive new flowers, and give the bad ones back. The replacement flowers were not broken/dying, but I did receive less flowers in the replacement one. Overall, I do appreciate that the company tried to make right in the situation- but I do not think that the quality/service met the price I paid for these.

Order arrived for Valentine's day and the flowers were beautiful. Was worried the order was not received but when I called in, the staff took the time to look for my order and reassure it was filled and sent out for delivery.

Service was terrible. Roses were bad in a 3rd day. We spent $70 for nothing. Shoprite flowers are better. Even Aldi 's roses for $3.99 last longer. I don't recomend this place :(

When I placed my order I was advised that I missed the driver for the day. The girls did everything in their power to make it right. The flowers got there the same day. That's great customer service in my book.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! HORRIBLE FLORIST!!!!!!!!!!!! I ORDERED A BOUQET ON VALENTINE'S DAY 02/14/13 AT 9AM. I CALLED THE SHOP AT 3:30PM TO CHECK ON THE STATUS OF THE DELIVERY AND THE WOMAN SAYS 'OH CAN YOU CALL BACK IN A HALF HOUR?' I SAID NO I'D RATHER HOLD AND WHEN SHE CAME BACK SHE SAYS 'ALL ONLINE ORDERS WERE CANCELLED AS OF YESTERDAY.' NO WHERE ON THE WEBSITE DOES IT SAY THEY ARE NOT ACCEPTING ON LINE ORDERS AND NOW I'M EXTREMELY UPSET BECAUSE I WAS ALLOWED TO PUT THE ORDER IN WITH MY CARD (ALTHOUGH THE MONEY HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN OUT YET) WHICH SHOUDLN'T HAVE BEEN ALLOWED IF ONLINE ORDERING WAS NOT BEING PROCESSED TO BEGIN WITH. HERE I AM THINKING ALL DAY OH I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY MOM TO SEE THE FLOWERS WHEN I COULD'VE WENT AYWHERE ELSE TO ORDER A DIFFERENT ONE INSTEAD. THE WOMAN SOUNDED LIKE SHE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT MY SITUATION AND WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. I used Mr. Alan for my wedding bouquet and other wedding accessories thank god not for my center pieces, I had three different meetings so we could ensure I got exactly what I was asking for. First meeting I was told we'd be able to get peonies, second I was told probably not, they're out of season. So we made a back up plan. I wanted white garden rose (they kinda look like peonies) and hydrangeas. Third meeting we went over everything and it sounded like everything was under control. Well my wedding day arrives, a day I shouldn't have to deal with rude unapologetic people. My bouquet is nothing that we had discussed!! And the boutonnière are completely the opposite of what I had order. First off they forgot to put hydrangeas in my bouquet and of course they used regular white roses which I hate!! I had to have someone else call the store for me as I was getting ready and they were on speaker, I could hear every single bit of attitude, so I sent my bouquet back and it came back wrong again, so now on my wedding day I had to call them myself. I wish I could remember the name of the lady who was rude and sounded fed up with having to here about this, she put me on hold and I had to hung up and go get married, there was nothing that could be done at that point. $200 bouquet that was originally peanoies that turned into a $200 dollar bouquet with wilted ugly brown spotted regular roses. I'm so disappointed, I wouldn't allow my photographer to take pictures of my bouquet. Thanks Mr. Alan's florist for making me cry on my wedding day and adding so much more stress than needed to be. I will never use them again. They are awful!

Mr Alan’s received and filled my order from an online service. I was VERY specific about the color of the roses (peach) to be sent and even requested if they didn’t have enough, NOT to fill the order. There is a policy that in case the florist runs out, substitutions will be made. Again, if that happened i said not to fill the order. The order was sent with multi color roses. While very nice, it was extremely disappointing it was NOT the arrangement I ordered and paid for. Mr Alan’s representative told the online florist that indeed the request was received and seen, but they never bother with special requests! AND...Mr Alan’s had enough peach roses to fill the order! They just chose not to!

DISGUSTING!! Mr. Alan's florists smoke cigarettes while making your floral arrangements. Visited here recently to purchase a bouquet of flowers for my wife's birthday and when I walked in instead of flowers, I smelled cigarette smoke. I thought it might be from another customer but when walked towards the back I could clearly see a florist working on an arrangement with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. I watched as she blew the smoke right into the flowers!!! If you want roses that smell like a pack of marlboros then this is the place for you. Otherwise you're better off picking yourself some wildflowers from the side of the road then to get flowers from Mr. Alan's

Mr Alan Florist provided birthday flowers for my mother-in-law on 1/24/17. I would not call it an "arrangement", since no effort appears to have been made to make them look pretty - seems like they just grabbed the flowers and shoved them into the vase, forgetting the lilies.. Very disappointed!!!! They will go on my "don't ever use again" list. :( Attached are pictures of his flowers vs Teleflora's.

Do NOT order from this florist! I ordered from for your flowers. I ordered the rose and Lily Celebration flower arrangement for my sister for Valentines Day. I wanted it to be delivered on a Monday. They delivered a cheap flower arrangement without the chocolates I ordered. The arrangement was done in yellow and white using daisies and white carnation's! I paid 68.00 for it! I could have done better had I went to the grocery store and picked up a bouquet !!!! I called and complained the second arrangement was worse than the first one

I ordered flowers on a Friday to be delivered to my aunt for her birthday party Saturday at my cousins house. I called them because my cousin lives in the same town. Should be easy pease right?? WRONG! They called my cousin at 7:30pm on Saturday saying they can't find her and that they'd bring the flowers on Sunday. Well, my aunt wasn't there to get them on Sunday and they had ALL DAY Saturday to deliver them. The woman on the phone must be losing her hearing because she couldn't understand anything I said, I had to repeat my self on everything. So very disappointed and will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN

My husbands grandmother ordered us a bouquet of flowers for the birth of our baby. The flowers arrived at our home in total disarray. The water from the flowers was all spilled into the plastic packaging surrounding the vase. Half of the flowers looked dead. The arrangement was a total mess. We sent a picture to his grandmother and it turned out that the arrangement sent was not what she ordered. They agreed to send a new arrangement matching her order at no charge. The flowers arrived two days later in even worse condition than the originals. Not only that, it STILL WAS NOT what she ordered. Then the delivery person had the nerve to demand that we give her back the vase from the first arrangement. This place is an absolute joke and should not be in business. I would highly recommend that anyone considering using this florist take their business elsewhere.

Received flowers in a vase that was chipped in three places. Looked like it was a garage sale purchase. Roses looked half dead with brown edges. Won’t use them again. Heard from teleflora. They do NOT support the customer. They couldn’t care less! Bait and switch scam!!!! Pass the blame game!!!!

After i got a bouquet from here from my boyfriend for our anniversary i decided to look at the reviews and they couldn’t be more accurate. Half the flowers i received are dead, other half not bloomed at all and i wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t even bloom. It looks like someone just threw a bunch of flowers in a vase not even taking a minute to make it look presentable. Water all in the plastic and vase filled to the top. I would never spend a dollar here. Update - went to the business after work to explain why i was dissatisfied (as their card says to contact them if you are) i also wanted to show a manger the arrangement i received. The manager was not there. A brunette older woman greeted me when i walked in and agreed that the flowers looked nothing like what my boyfriend ordered and apologized. Then i go to the front desk and a younger woman I’d say later 20’s was BEYOND RUDE. i asked her if she could call the manager and she said she couldn’t with a attitude. I demanded she called the manager so she did.. she continued to lie to her manager and tell her she thought the flowers were fine and the only thing wrong was the vase “was different” HALF MY FLOWERS WERE DEAD!!! I’ve never had such rude service in my life. They refused to help me and told me i must call the site my boyfriend ordered from. When i explained to her how i was disappointed she rolled her eyes at me. I then told her i see why you have horrible review and she said and i quote “ya i know” you could not pay me to ever use this florist!!!!! Place should go out of business!!!!

Mr. Alan's The Original Florist in Brick, NJ is by far the best Florist that I have ever had to use!!! The staff there was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I was looking for.....The Prices are unbelievably low compared to other Florist. The Flowers that I had ordered were super beautiful . When I had them delivered they came ,Exactly on the time that I had requested. The delivery guy was also unbelievably nice. I'll never go to another Florist again. There is only one Florist in my phone contacts and that is Mr. Alan's Original Florist in Brick..

Just need to set the record straight. The comments of Kyle B (doesn't even use his full name) are BS. I have worked for and with the owners of Mr Alans for over four years. Everyone else at the shop has been there for much longer. The owners are a hard working and honest family. Anytime I have needed anything from them they have gone out of their way to help. All you need to know.

It's Valentine's Day, I get that. I didn't place the order until yesterday, I get that. Buuuut the flowers didn't come until 9:20pm AND the 8 letters I asked to be on the note had 9 letters. NOT worth $60+

The people who run this flower shop are snakes and ripoffs. They try and get over on everyone they possibly can. They treat their employees like complete garbage and lie, cheat and steal hours and pay from them. It's not the employees fault, it's the owner's. When you're getting your paycheck ripped off how you can be happy to go to work? When you have to pay out of pocket to do your job how can you expect anything that comes out of this shop to be any good? When the owner doesn't pay the wholesaler and says he has a "scheme" to get out of paying it and the wholesaler stops delivering flowers to your shop - what's the employee supposed to do? Again, don't get mad at the employees of this shop they do the best they can with what they're given. It's the owner's that illegally run the business, rip off employees, wholesalers and customers but try and make them selves out to be on the "up and up". Even though the business is registered under one name, the person it is registered under has nothing to do with it. The guy who runs the place, and his wife are straight up crooks. This is only 1/3rd of the story mind you. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS FLOWER SHOP - you have been warned.

Awful! My husband ordered from them for me for Valentines Day. While I was perfectly happy with my dozen red roses, when I set him the requested picture he was livid. He had ordered 18 long stem roses with star gazer lillies and he had paid over $100 for it. He called them up and flipped out on them and they said "sorry we ran out of star gazer lillies, we'll deliver the right one tomorrow" my husband said that wasn't acceptable and demanded a refund. They promised a full credit but a couple hours later a guy showed up at my office with the most God awful ugly arrangement I have ever seen of 12 long stems with calla lillies ( I HATE calla lillies) all of which are half dead and just thrown in a vase. I brought it home with me and he took one look at it and called up the credit card company to dispute the charge. I will never ever use them again.

Most horrible florist on the planet !! An order was confirmed from this Florist for a Funeral, they confirmed the flowers and card were delivered to the funeral home. It wasn't till a day later after confirmation of delivery and multiple phones calls to Mr. Alan's who "the manager" couldn't even take the time to talk to the customer and put one of the employees on the phone to tell us the order was never fulfilled and was put to the side. This was after Mr. Alan's Florist took payment for an arrangement that was never received. This is the most HORRIBLE AND DISGUSTING place of business on the PLANET. If you have love ones who you would you like to send flowers, bouquet or arrangements to PLEASE NEVER use this place of business. They are the absolutely HORRIBLE. Mr. Alan's how are you still in Business at this time treating customers as such !!!!! Should be an option for NEGATIVE star ratings as to post you need to pick one.

SO disappointing about this, Alans promised to include the heart/angel wing, with Tear from Heaven poem.....NOPE! Instead they put a small cheep angel, not what they represented on the website. I really wanted my cousin to have it at her husband's memorial service today, very upsetting but the flowers where nice.
