I ordered Valentine's Day flowers for my husband a week in advance, to be delivered on Valentine's Day and requested morning delivery. When they hadn't shown up by 3 PM I tried calling the number on their website and received no response. I called a few more times over the course of the afternoon/evening and not once did anyone pick up. The flowers finally arrived at around 7 PM and were perfectly nice, but the very late delivery and complete lack of communication was very off-putting. I might order from them on a random non-holiday, but I will avoid them for floral holidays like Valentine's Day in the future - it seems like they take on more orders than they can actually handle and then struggle to deliver everything.

Absolutely the nicest guys around. Have shopped them many times and been pleased, but they really went the extra mile with our xmas tree. It was too big for the apartment... so they took it back twice to cut it down and bring me a larger stand. When it came time to remove the tree, I called and they came to take it away the same day - for free!

Completely messed up my order. Ordered on May 20th to be delivered for the birthday on May 22nd. Delivered in the evening of the same day, May 20th. Ordered nice looking money tree on a stylish black square tray, and a plant in a boring pot with a vulgar pink ribbon was delivered instead. The message was mangled by the website to the unrecognizable state. Eventually the right plant was delivered after some emails and calls. If you pay almost $60 for a plant that is probably no more than $15 at the store you expect it to be properly delivered. So, this service did not 'deliver'.

Poor delivery! Poor quality! I ordered “Take Me Away By BloomNation”, but they sent a different flowers (flower arrangement). The flowers are not fresh anymore.

I couldn’t love this place more! I went in a few months ago to buy a plant for a friend as a gift. The staff helped me pick out a beautiful plant that suited her needs and even offered to repot it for me for no extra charge. Pricey but worth the price!

I needed four small arrangements for the table at my daughter's baby shower and Bouquets and Baskets provided the perfect ones. Lovely pops of color along the long table gave it just the right extra touch. Ordering, price point and delivery were all wonderful. Ordered twice, the first time was a night before order and the flowers that were delivered weren't really what I'd selected. I assumed it was because I was so late. Ordered again for Mother's Day, this time a week in advance. Again, they delivered something completely different, this time wasn't even close. I called with no answer, emailed with no reply. Today they showed up at my apartment and wanted to take the flowers back. Lost this customer forever.

I've been here on several occasions, and if you're willing to go a step above bodega roses, you will get an arrangement crafted with attention. They have been welcoming and friendly each time, and unafraid to meet my budgetary and often immediate requests. It's a small shop, with a personal touch.

My husband ordered flowers to be delivered on Thursday Feb. 11. After they were never delivered, he was assured they would be delivered the next day. Again, they never were. We called and were told we would be receiving a refund. After a week of no refund, I called and was again assured I would receive my refund. Instead of being refunded, we were charged twice! Now I have to waste more of my time getting our credit card company involved. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Shame on you. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Love this place. Love these guys. A real local mom and pop florist that can do it all. Staff is so nice and helpful. My go to place for Xmas wreathes, garland, and of course trees! We come every year with my kids. Also Valentine’s Day and my wife’s birthday. Also have a small but interesting selection of container plants out front in spring and summer. Always smells good when I walk by.

I never thought I would have to write a review thanking a shoppe for funeral flowers, Bouquets and Baskets was my first thought location wise with me in Jersey City and my cousin’s service in Hoboken- but they came to mind and I’m glad I made that choice! I called and spoke with a wonderful woman on the phone but I do not remember her name, I asked her what would be the best thing she would suggest as something Mets themed for my dear cousin, she even gave me the idea of bringing something in that would throw everything all together as well as worked within my price range. And WOW did that standing spray come out absolutely beautiful! The flowers were perfect, not one wilted- beautiful and vibrant colors of orange and blue tied so perfect together completed within the perfect leaf frame it seemed encased in. I couldn’t have been any more happy and satisfied with the outcome and their help to give my cousin one last little tribute. Thank you Bouquets and Baskets, a family business worth the recommendation!

Not just bad, bizarre. I don't know what all these reviews are raving about, I'm feeling like Kate McKinnon in the SNL abduction sketch. I hate this place. Each time I've been here I left thinking "ok that was weird, but I'll give it another chance." Well today was strike three, folks. Yes they have decent plants and flowers like your average neighborhood florist, but the staff and service is horrible. During one visit, a woman walked up to me, expressionless, and said flatly " may I help you." I said I was just looking, but thanks. She then just stood there 3 inches away (in the middle of the shop, not behind a counter or in a normal place) and creepily stared at me while I "browsed." I finally looked up at her because it was so bizarre and uncomfortable and she stared a solid few more seconds then said "take your time." I left shortly thereafter. On another visit, the shop was completely empty, I wanted to buy a few succulents for my apartment. There were two employees running around frantically, apparently filling a flower order, talking between themselves and ignoring me. Whatever, it's the city, I find what I want and head up to the cash register. When I asked if someone could ring me up they told me they were too busy to help me and I should come back later. Too busy to take 1 minute to, you know, take my money. Rude, yes, but also just weird. Is this business a front for something else? I've never seen staff act so strangely.

Stopped in to buy some plants for spring and found the atmosphere quaint and clean. I also found the staff very friendly. While their plants are more expensive than a nursery, I imagine the higher prices are reflect their overhead. It should be noted their plants appeared very healthy. I was impressed by the small shop's variety! Would definitely go again.
