This place ruined my surprise flower delivery! My fiancé lives overseas, he wanted to surprise me with flowers; The florist called me and RUINED THE SURPRISE! They called my number and asked me to give them a credit card number to complete the order. They should know better in this kind of business. Rather than being proactive, they ruined a sweet surprise! He started the order, but didn’t complete it. This place only concerned themselves with making a profit. My phone number was in the order because obviously they will be delivered to me. When I spoke to them they said their workers were new extra help. Now in the reply from the owner, they are trying to blame my fiancé for the mistake instead of owning their own mistake. There was NO ORDER in the first place, the order was NEVER SUBMITTED. Good to see that they DONT believe the customer is always right.

I keep a very busy schedule so it's great to be able to call up on the go and order flowers quickly. They are always prompt on delivery and keep things very simple for the customer. Janousek impressed me! I received a million-dollar bouquet with flawless roses and lilies the size of melons from my guy. In turn, I last-minute ordered Valentine’s Day roses for him from Janousek. I blindly ordered six roses over the phone with no plan or idea how they’d look, but they took it from there. They managed to make a sweet, short-stack bundle of roses atop a dark wood vase with lush green plants. It looked both elegant and masculine. It was very classy. It even looked better than some of the online options. Very impressed – and they did it last-minute on their busiest day of the year.

I ordered flowers for my wife in the hospital in the AM. The flowers were delivered to her room within 4 hours of placing my order. The assistance they gave me on the phone was great and the flowers were delivered in great shape and exactly as they were described and shown on their website. That was a very nice surprise over the last few times I have ordered flowers from another local flower shop who's name I will not mention, but it starts with a T and ends with a S and.... it is NOT Taylor's. I will definitely use Janousek Florist again!

Janousek's Florist has been my family's florist of choice for many years. I live overseas now, but grew up in Omaha, and I know without any doubt that whatever I order from Janousek's is going to be fresh and beautiful. I rely on them a lot for Mother's Day, birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, and every single occasion when I need something special. Recently, I ordered flowers and balloons for someone just diagnosed with terminal cancer. She was from Lincoln but was in an Omaha hospital. I didn't know she'd been released from the hospital when I placed the order, but Janousek's delivered the flowers and balloons to her home in Lincoln without question and without charge. That is customer service!

I called and spoke to someone in person I did not order through a third party on the Internet. I also stated clearly what hours our office closed because it’s Memorial Day weekend. Please see the attached pictures it is even written by the florist staff deliver before 3:00pm and then I called back because we were closing at 2:00pm they changed it to deliver before 2:00pm no confusion of our office hours. I called 4 times to inquire where the delivery was and the last call I was told the driver had left and hour ago and I had to ask the sales lady at the florist to call the deliver driver in case he was lost. I was told he was 15 minutes away this was at 2:00pm our office closed and the coworker did not receive her flowers for her desk. I waited at our office for the delivery and a gentleman called still couldn’t find our office and finally arrived at 2:25pm. He announced glad I made it me and my other coworker said in unison you did not make it we closed at 2:00pm. I had to ask what they were going to do to make this a better experience this is the first time I have used their florist. I feel something should be refunded for this terrible experience. I was told the she would tell the owner what happened and call me back. From reading the other reviews I am interested if they will fix the problem with quality customer service or blame a third party internet provider or stating clearly the office hours like they did other customers in the reviews that this exact same thing happened to. Where have the days of good customer service gone instead of blaming the customers. Sometimes it really is the delivery driver. I never post reviews but I felt this was necessary. I have pictures to prove my review and I find it odd they advertise prompt delivery with more than one review of failed delivery attempts.

We found this florist by happenstance, and now our entire family and our friends are just in love. We get pics of every arrangement we've sent and all of them have been beyond expectation. Their designers use unusual flowers in beautiful combinations making their arrangements stand out in the crowd. This is our well proven florist of choice.

I am a bridesmaid in a wedding in Omaha. Long story short, the brides original florist backed out 3 days before the wedding. The staff greeted us with a friendly smile and helped us choose a beautiful bouquet for the bride to be. While we weren't able to get some of our original flowers as they had to be special ordered (our fault not theirs since we came to them two business days before the wedding), they helped us find a perfect alternative and created an exceptional boquet with such short notice. They have many many flowers on hand to create a perfect arrangement that I could only imagine the selection and choices we would have had if we came to them with more time. We have found the place to send the groom to get apology gifts, special occasion gifts, and we will be sure to suggest an everyday present.

I called on my mother's birthday and confirmed the order will be delivered that day. I do not live in Omaha. They took down my number and my mother's information. I called my mom at 7pm wondering why she did not call me regarding her flowers. She said she never received them. Janousek was closed I left a message on their voicemail regarding my order and to call me. I called them they said the flower went to the wrong address. But why wouldn't no one call me or my mother to confrim the information. This is bad customer service. I just asked for my money back. Jancie the lady I talk regarding my refund did not even apologies. The first lady giggled at me saying she did not know why they did not contact me regarding the incorrect address. I have order from them before and every thing was fine. I was Very DIsappointed this time!

I was about to order flowers from an online nationwide seller but decided to buy midtown/local so I stopped by Janousek. The lady helping me was great. I mentioned how I was 'going to' try the online flower seller but I didn't because I'm standing here now. Her whole attitude changed. She started bad-mouthing the online seller to an uncomfortable degree, it was awkward. She went ON AND ON about how their flowers don't last, they wilt in no time at all blah blah... It was quite embarrasing. I suffered through it, got the plant/flower arrangement and paid a good amount for it but I was okay with it despite the unprofessional bad-mouthing rant. No kidding... the plant/flower arrangement was wilting the next day and two days later it was dead and brown. It was well cared for by the way. Since then I've ordered online and I've yet to see a bouquet/arrangement not last 2 weeks. I was just amazed at how vocal the lady at Janosek was and how wrong she turned out to be. I know it was probably a fluke and I got the one out of a million that was sick or something but it was such a negative experience for me.

My niece from New York ordered an arrangement for me while I was in the hospital. She told the designer that I had recently been thru some rough times (losing my husband to cancer and undergoing some health issues myself) and asked that you do something colorful and bright. The results were beautiful. I have never heard so many compliments on a floral arrangement. Thank you for listening to my niece and giving me such a wonderful surprise. I ordered flowers for my sick Aunt last Saturday. They were delivered but somebody else's name and address were on the card. She had no idea that I had sent them! That's never happened to me before when I sent flowers to someone. I had carefully given my name and address to the woman who took the order on the phone. What a disappointment. Good thing I called her! I will not order from this shop again.

Ruined my Valentines day. Delivery driver thought it was funny that he misplaced my flowers and said " I found these flowers and I thought well that's a problem!" Yeah, it was. And why didn't you call my husband who made the order? Read the reviews. Especially their replies to the negative reviews here. My day is not the only that has been ruined by Janousek.

Very disappointed. I ordered an arrangement for Valentine's day for my wife. Janousek's website states that though a specific time can't be guaranteed on holidays, such as Valentine's Day, a morning or afternoon delivery can be requested. My wife works only in the morning so this was important to me. I ordered a week in advance and put the appropriate instructions on the order. The morning came and went and my wife did not receive her flowers. I called and was told that they may not be delivered until 7pm! I asked for the flowers to be delivered to our home instead (or at least left on the porch). The delivery service then tried to deliver the flowers to my wife's office after she had left. They even called her to ask where they could be delivered (my wife was unaware that I had asked for the delivery to be switched to our home). I appreciate the effort but it seems there was a lack of communication between the management and the driver. The manager, Shelly, was very understanding and apologetic but the damage was already done. She did agree to refund for the problem. I was really hoping to support a local family owned business but they just did not come through on a very important day.

Very great customer service, ordered something last minute on Valentines Day because every other shop was booked and they still worked around my timing. Took my daughter with me to pick up the flowers and they let her pick out a rose as well as pick one for me. I mean absolutely every one was nice, best customer service I've had. I would give it 10 stars if I could. In never do reviews on places but I had th share how great they were.
