The flowers were ok, but not as impressive as the price. It looked like a Kroger arrangement. The delivery was horrible. Even after I called and confirmed a certain delivery window and included it on the order, they still missed the window. If you need it delivered by a certain time, DON'T ORDER WITH THEM. They also left the flowers outside in the pouring rain and 45 degree weather. It was an awful, overpriced, disappointing experience. Don't use Petal Pushers.

This was not an ideal experience, but having worked in customer service industry my whole working career, you mess up. I was thoroughly impressed with how they fixed my issues.

Fooled twice. Silly me. I have no one else to blame but myself after being burned twice by this specific Pugh's location. Let's back up. In December, I ordered an arrangement for my SO for our anniversary. I was able to put a rush delivery on it, pretty handy. Arrangement arrives, wilting. No doubt it was the back of the fridge special I was given. I send in some feedback, because hey, maybe they'd try harder next time. Told myself I should not use them again and stick with my usual florist, who is a slight hassle to use because the ship to address isn't in her web database and all orders delivered have to be called in to her for her approval. Anyways, Valentines day is coming up and against my better judgment, I go to Pugh's website, who is advertising that any orders that come in before Valentine's Day at 10 AM will be delivered. I think great, at least I am getting a guarantee. Now Pugh's has this little feature when you're adding an address into the address book that will allow you to specify a business operating hours, as to ensure an arrangement will be delivered before close. I had previously set it at 9-4 in the previous order. Her office open hours are indeed still attached to the business address book entry. I look at the arrangements. 50 dollars for just half a dozen roses. 50 dollars. 15 dollar markup for Valentine's Day delivery. Convenience is crippling my sound judgment decision making at this point. I go for it. 70 dollars for half a dozen roses after its all taxed and done. Nearly 12 dollars a rose. I wait. Valentine's Day comes and I am checking my email all day for a delivery confirmation. None. I check online for status. None offered. I trust Pugh's is diligently doing their job, my mistake, as the distance from their shop to the delivery address is 1.3 miles. I am not exaggerating that, I just mapped it on Google. 5:15 rolls around, the office is closed, and there is STILL no delivery confirmation. I call Pugh's. "Sorry sir, your order is being delayed due to the weather." Funny, no one else at the office had an issue getting their arrangements delivered by their competitors. Still with me? Here's where it gets really bad. My SO leaves work at 5:30, empty handed. Pugh's Flowers rent-a-driver shows up at 6:15 to deliver it. The office is locked up. Having no way to actually deliver the arrangement, he marks it delivered anyways! No doubt to attempt to show Pugh's fulfilled it on their end. I call the next day. The employee who answers the phone offers to make the arrangement (apparently was never made) and deliver it to the office. I declined and asked him what is the point in grossly overpaying for half a dozen roses, and have them delivered a day late. I demand a full refund. As the saying goes, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. There is never, ever, going to be another instance in which I allow myself to be gouged by this, for a lack of better word, garbage company. My only non regret in this whole matter is that I did not have to go to the store to get my refund, as other reviews have pointed out having to deal with a mouthy Tim Pugh when Pugh's messes up orders. Thanks for ruining my Valentine's Day order, Pugh's. Won't be dealing with you again.

Apparently, they broker the delivery out to a third-party deliverer. She was the most rude person I've ever dealt with. The flowers arrived 24 hours late and to the wrong address. They said they would give me a 50% credit....Still waiting. I'll never use Pugh's again.

Ordered flowers for my girlfriend yesterday and was told they would be delivered this morning. So around 11 I called and was rudely told it hadn’t been delivered and that they would get to it....so finally at almost the end of the day they were delivered, but the flowers that were delivered we’re wrong. I ordered 1purple rose in a vase with some carnations. What was delivered was a pink rose and no carnations. Growing up in a flower shop this was not a difficult order yet couldn’t be delivered on time or made correctly... I will definitely not order from this shop ever again!!!

Pugh's Flowers failed our family in a time of personal grief. When someone can't make it to a family funeral, sending flowers shows the love one that other people care. Pugh's Flowere took our order, charged my credit account, said that the funeral home was within walking distance, and claim that the flowers nerver were delivered due to a delivery problem. They said they refunded our money, and I did get a sorry.....but now I have to explain to everyone that I didn't forget, didn't blow off the funeral, but there was a mix up at the florist. I'm sorry doesn't make up for this!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would! I ordered an arrangement of gerbera daisies (2 gerbera daisies and some greenery) and a balloon, for my sister's birthday yesterday. They quoted me $55 for the order, which I found appalling, but agreed to pay, since Pughs had such appealing Google reviews. Fast forward 25 minutes post payment: they call to inform me that they don't have gerbera daisies (my sister's favorite flowers) but assure me that they have another type of daisy and will "make it beautiful," so I reluctantly agreed. About an hour later, their delivery person called me to tell me that he had delivered the flowers, but added that "THEY forgot the balloon." Upon further review, I find out that not only had they forgotten the balloon, but had also delivered the flowers with no card. My sister had no idea who had sent her these little dandelion looking flowers. When I called Pughs to voice my disgust, they offered to deliver the balloon the following day (a solitary birthday balloon the day after her birthday?)...I let them know that was not only unnecessary, but also ridiculous. In the end, they offered to remove the balloon charge from the order, and refund 20% of the original charge, before taxes and delivery. I ended up paying $40 for some flowers my kids could've picked out of the yard for free. Never. Ever. Again. Oh, add to it, they called my sister today and acted completely surprised when she replayed the situation to them. How horribly sad and unprofessional.

I ordered a spray of beautiful purple flowers for my Aunt's funeral. It was a $205 arrangement called "Sacred Garden". It was supposed to have a ribbon that said "Beloved Sister" It was from my father as he was too ill to attend his sister's funeral. Part of the reason that we chose this arrangement because it could be separated out allowing each niece and nephew to have a few flowers to take home. I placed this order through the Memorial Gardens/Sympathy Store webpage to be filled at Pugh's Florist. When I arrived at the funeral home, I noticed that the flowers weren't there. Then, my sister informed me that they were there but they were a red white and blue arrangement with a patriotic bow in the center. I immediately called the Sympathy Store asking what happened. She called the florist and then informed me that the order that was sent was "Sacred Service" because the employee at the florist had misread the ticket. I asked for someone to send another arrangement. Pugh's refused saying they didn't have time to put anything together. Although the Sympathy Store agreed to a refund, I still wanted to speak with Pugh's about their gross negligence in fulfilling this order. I wanted a small order of tulips sent to my cousins so that they would have something from the day. I spoke with someone at Pugh's Saturday afternoon who said she was terribly sorry about this and that the owner would be calling me on Monday morning at the start of business so that he could make this right with me. She said that she felt a small order of tulips being sent would be an appropriate sign of good faith although she couldn't approve it. . I didn't receive a call by midafternoon so I called Pugh's and was finally put through to Tim. I am assuming he is the owner but I am not sure. He was rude and condescending. He never apologized for his employee's mistake saying that mistakes happen. I told him some sort of controls should be put in place to keep this from happening to someone else, such as another person to check the order...he said that was unnecessary. I asked for the tulip order that one of his employees had agreed would be a measure of apology, but he refused saying that I had gotten my refund and kept the flowers, that was enough. Yes, financially I am not out anything, that is correct. But I didn't order just a product, I ordered a service. Neither of those were correct. I find it utterly ridiculous that the company who made the mistake refuses to go a little above and beyond to make this issue right. My very ill father was very specific about what he wanted at his sister's funeral and how he wanted it displayed. I entrusted The Sympathy Store and Pugh's Flowers to make this happen. Unfortunately, they failed at what they were asked to do. Please do not use Pugh's Flowers for important occasions as you will be sorely disappointed in the product and the service you will receive.

I have used pughes for the past two years. I have always mentioned a time for delivery. I called to place my order and asked to be delivered before 10am..I called to double check..apparently there wasn't a time for delivery noted...threw off my entire plan..all the lady was saying...oh there no time on here..I think if pughes is so professional,this shouldn't have been a issue. Now I have to explain the unexpected service I received. I will not order from Pughes again all it takes is one time I will not get fooled again. Be blessed.

This was quite honestly the worst flower delivery company I have ever delt with. I was hung up on the first time I called when I tried to make an order. After canceling the order, I called to find out when I would receive my money back and was directed to someone who never picked up the phone or called back after I left a message. When I was finally able to get in contact with someone, I was told my money would be back in my account by now, which it is not.

They could not locate my order. Had to e-mail them my confirmation of receipt. Obviously error on their end. No offer of compensation was offered.

I would advise anyone not to do business here. My husband placed an order for a flower to be sent to a funeral home for a funeral these people took his phone number, email, and money and never sent a flower. And manager is the rudest person I've ever met, its Wednesday and the funeral was Sunday and not one time did they call or email us. But when I called about getting a refund they had an attitude. Part 2 So I received a call from the bookkeeper telling me I canceled the order. Why in the world would I pay you and then cancel the order, none of what the Clerk,Manager or Bookkeeper said makes any sense. They are trying to cover their own butts. I have never in my life encountered such incompetent and unapologetic people. You caused this problem and instead of admitting that you messed up now it's the order was canceled it may have been canceled but it wasn't by me or my husband, it was done by you. Which only adds insult to injury. I promise you I will tell everybody I know to never do business here. If Google had negatives I would give them to this company. Poor service!!!@

I just worked with Angela Brown today at the Goodman Road store in Southaven and I have to say that I am so excited to see the finished product. I was not looking forward to going to a florist for a wedding bouquet because I had a horrible experience in the past. My worries were eased as soon as I met her and she understood my vision. Easy to work with and made things as simple as could be. Great prices as well!

I was in store and ordered flowers 9 am Saturday to be delivered at 5 pm for my brother's funeral. They did not show. I had no flowers for veiwing after numerous calls and emails. Next day someone called me to apologise and said the debit card did not go through this was not a phone order I was in store and they had attempted to call me My account had more than enough to cover I showed no missed calls.There was no offer to get flowers to the funeral home Now it is Sunday New Year's Eve and no florist are open. I will not have flowers at my Brother's Funeral. I guess that is the way it works now days businesses just don't care about customers anymore.

I was so disappointed in the arrangement that I had sent to my mother. I was so sad when I received a picture of it from my mother. I paid almost $60 and it looked awful. My mother said it was beautiful, but she was being kind. For $60, I could have driven up, went to Kroger and bought a better arrangement and took it to her myself. It looked like someone just picked a flower here and there and then stuck some tall weeds they picked from the side of the road and stuck them in the middle for height. I will not be ordering from here ever again.

I am impressed by the quality of flowers! Initially, I was sceptical about ordering flowers online, as most of my experiences ordering flowers for someone had resulted in paying an excessive amount for a bouquet that looks nothing like the original image. But, fortunately, this was not one of those occasions! In just one day, I was able to order AND have delivered a beautiful purple arrangement to my mother, who was in the hospital. The best part was - it was delivered on a Sunday! Most online companies wouldn't deliver on a Sunday, so I was extremely lucky. The only negative about ordering online with Pugh's is that you don't get an immediate confirmation email (with an order number) - at least, I didn't. So I had to call them up and make sure everything was okay. I did, however, get a "confirmation of delivery". I would definitely consider ordering from Pugh's again!

Ordered an arrangement for a coworkers birthday. Not really sure what went haywire, but the flowers were wilted upon arrival and the vase did not match the picture. Normally, I get it, florists run out of a particular vase, but the vase they delivered the flowers in is appalling. It's got some caked on yellow film with white powder all over it - it looks like Styrofoam melted onto the glass of the vase and the white powder is just coming off the vase onto everything. It went direct billed to the company I work for, so at least it's not my money, but it definitely makes me absolutely sure that I will not order from Pugh's for anything in my personal life.

I had never used Pugh's Flowers shop before and was a little bit hesitant to do so from out of town since I live 6 hours away from where the delivery were to take place, but they did a wonderful job! I ordered online. Not only did they deliver the flowers right on time but the arrangement was so pretty!! I will never go back to local 1-800 flowers, etc. because local shops always do it best. ;-) Pugh's, thank you for such a prompt delivery and a beautifully-decorated flower arrangement. 5 stars from me! I will be using you again!

Pugh's employees have been more than helpful when we've contacted them by phone or email. And the flowers and gift baskets have always been in perfect condition and delivered on time. I have ordered from Pugh's about 4-5 times per year for the last couple of years. I have ordered online, over the phone, and in person at the store on Poplar without issue. I normally pick some level of "Designer's Choice" as their designers get to use some creativity with the arrangements and no two are ever the same. The flowers have been nice and fresh each time and the arrangements never disappoint. Yes, flowers are a bit pricey but the customer service has been great and no delivery mistakes thus far.

Pugh's Flowers bought out Petal Pushers recently and Pugh's quality and service is heads above the old Petal Pushers. Pugh's has been around Memphis for years and we have never had any problems with them. I wish I could have said the same for Petal Pushers but that is water under the bridge.

Pugh's is a Memphis staple. Whenever I think of local florists, it is the place that comes to mind. However, I had never purchased flowers from them or even visited. For my first trip I was so pleased that the staff was friendly and welcoming. I wanted to get an arrangement of flowers for my mother, but didn't have a lot of time. They had some ready-made arrangements, but were able to put something together for me in less than 30 minutes. I was extremely happy they were able to accommodate my requests and for such a reasonable price. My mother was very pleased. I cannot recommend them enough!

5.0 star rating 6/26/2016 I called Pugh's last minute to order funeral flowers for my friend's Mother's funeral which was the next morning. Although I am from Memphis, I now live in Texas. Pugh's telephone was answered by Rhonda who assured me that they could take care of my order easily even at the last minute. I described my vision of the arrangement I wished for and she immediately got that vision and ran with it to make it even more amazing than what I was thinking. She made perfect suggestions to add to the arrangement. They emailed me a picture when it was finished and WOW... simply breathtaking. They even put a white butterfly on the top of it which was the icing on the cake (so to speak). My best friend attended the funeral and said that my flowers were the centerpiece and put all the other ones to shame! I am beyond joyful that I called Pugh's and will highly recommend them to everyone. I will never use another florist EVER!

Don't waste your money!!!! Ordered a $90 arrangement and when it arrived it looked nothing like what I ordered! I ordered an arrangement with bunches of blue sprigs, yellow roses and lilies, white daisies, with a blue ribbon for a new grandson. What they got was some yellow & white carnations and daisies with 1 blue sprig and a stringy white ribbon! Half the amount of flowers that were just stuck into a vase! I'm guessing they thought since I ordered it online that I wouldn't see it but I did! I will never order from them again. I wouldn't give any star rating but I MUST give one to post. Go somewhere reputable!!!

Very disappointed ordered flowers for mother’s day it was called winged beauty cost for basic was like $48 I got the $69 version add more stems it said overall I spent $100 what they delivered wasn’t worth $20 they sent a replacement the next day and still was basic last time I ordered from them they sent the wrong flowers I feel like I got ripped off and will never use them again for personal or business very disappointed
