TERRIBLE BRIDAL EXPERIENCE--GIFTS PAID FOR, BUT NEVER RECIEVED
I completed my bridal registry with Oxford Floral in the spring of 2012 for my wedding in September of the same year. Over the course of several showers, I became increasingly disappointed.
My aunt ordered a set of glasses which were not in stock. She ordered over the phone and was not informed that the gift was actually a handwritten tag stating, "set of 4 dinner glasses." Several other people had similar experiences (2 full place settings, a salad plate, 2 juice glasses). Many people were disappointed that they did not have a gift for the shower. At this point, I was fine with the idea of recieving the actual gifts a later date.
After speaking with the bridal consultant, I was assured that I would recieve these items no later than October of 2012. As of today, March 22, 2013, I have yet to recieve the majority of these gifts.
My advice to any bride, is to stay far, far away from this florist. I realize that this is the "hip" florist of Oxford, but it is nothing short of unacceptable to keep a customer waiting for well over 6 months to recieve an item (let alone multiple items) that have been paid for.
Even more than I advise brides to steer clear, I would warn against purchasing a gift from them as you never know when (or even if) the recipient will recieve their gift.
