Bachman's was absolutely wonderful on our wedding day and the day before! We got all of our bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres through them as well as some flowers for the ceremony space, and reception space. Since I wanted to make our centerpieces, I was able to order the exact flowers ahead of time and pick them up the Friday before our wedding to assemble the vases. They turned out perfect and the stems that were hand selected were beautiful! They also delivered all of the other flowers on Saturday morning to the ceremony location and all of them were beautiful! I could not be happier. Better yet, we stayed UNDER budget on our flowers, which is almost unheard of. Nonetheless, we are very happy we went with Lynn and her design team for our wedding!

One of my favorite places in minneapolis! They have a bakery/cafe too with amazing quiche and desserts! Plants are a bit expensive but they do have very nice ones. The greenhouse patio is a really nice place to go during the winter to feel like you aren’t in Minnesota anymore!

Fresh cut flowers and bouquets are available for purchase or delivery. Trees, shrubs, and landscaping materials are also carried.

There are few places better to shop for greenery. As the flagship store, this one can be a bit overwhelming just in terms of size, but its so great. One of the best places to refresh while you shop indoors in winter and their indoor winter markets area also amazing (but super busy, so get there early or some stuff will sell out). The prices are a little high, but the product quality is great.

This is a full service garden store . Great plant selection for landscaping and gradening , I have had success with the tomato , pepper and other garden plants and peony and various flowers . They carry all the tools you could want as well as the soil testers and fixers . If you want to grow from seed they have that too . Most years I get something from them . A must on grey days!! Started with coffee at Patrick's. Buy two pastries and get a 3rd free! We chose almond croissants, big and flaky, covered in powdered sugar with almond paste filling, and a strawberry cream filled Danish. Great cup of Dark Roast coffee...free refills at a help yourself coffee station. Sit in a garden! Greenhouse glass above, intimate bistro tables surrounded by greenery and blooming plants. Then stroll thru garden and gift shops. Fresh ideas abound for home & garden.

Bought a few indoor plants that were little over a month old but were not doing so well. Plants were overpriced to begin but knowing Bachman has great customer service decided to buy them Anyway When I tried to return or exchange I was rudely told by the manager that warranty is only 7 days for indoor plants Not worth my time to argue over $16 worth of plants I spend hundred of dollars a year at Bachman’s for my garden including over $200 fir hydrangea trees etc I will take my business some where else Went to Lowe’s and bought the replacement Lowe’s price is lot better. These local stores forget that there is always online and national chain

Huge selection of everything imaginable during the spring planting season, and well stocked house plants at all times. Prices are somewhat higher than other local greenhouses, though not by much. We appreciated the service that not only sold us a tree but also delivered and planted it for us. There's an information desk that can help you identify a plant you saw but don't know the name of, as well as guiding you through planning a garden suitable for your location and environment, which is very helpful.

Great! My fiance and I met here to pick flowers for our wedding. The employee who helped us was very efficient, knowledgeable, and quick to calculate prices for us. It did however take a while to get our estimate, as Bachman's had my email address written down wrong. That was corrected, but it was a little worrying at the time. I also did not get any sort of confirmation leading up to the wedding. However, the flowers were all delivered on time and they were beautiful! I would use Bachman's again.

Been going here since Macy's closed in downtown Minneapolis. They have a great Santa program, nice wreaths, reindeer, and free photos with Santa. It will continue to be a part of our Christmas tradition for years to come even though it's a 45min drive. Please keep it up!

Twice in recent months I have ordered flower arrangements in a modern style from the designer category and I've been very pleased. The first was a $100 arrangement (specified lots of yellow) and the second was $65 (specified bright, cheery colors). Both were perfect on arrival. I can say with authority that the $100 arrangement lasted for at least 1.5 weeks and came in a really lovely vase. I anticipate a similar result with the second arrangement but that was the most recently ordered so I can't say for sure how long it will look fresh.

Best garden store in the Twin Cities! There is a cafe inside to grab a coffee and a lunch while you do you shopping. The store is very dog friendly and the staff are wonderful. They also wrap your plants so they don't make a mess on the car ride home.

The cafe inside of Bachman's was a nice surprise. I enjoyed an apple pastry and coffee at Patrick's cafe before I started shopping. It has a nice, quiet atmosphere that is indoors with the feel of being outdoors. Bachman's has the basics for your plants and yard. If you are looking for aquatic plants or advice for aquatics, surprisingly, this is not the place to go. I went with questions regarding my water lillies as well as to buy soil for them and they were not able to help.

So i went to Bachmann's because it is near my office and was amazed at how well laid out the store was given how big it is. You don't have to go through the entire store to get to what you want. It's very divided so it's almost like 3 small stores under one roof which was great. I thought wow I should leave a review on this and then I shopped a hardware store today for more plants and was completely disappointed in the customer service and the price was no better. Holy crapp this is a great store. Not to mention it has a crazy thorough selection.

In the middle of the coldest part of winter, you can feel like you're outside in spring while enjoying a cup of coffee and a treat from Harry's in amidst the plants of the greenhouse at this Bachman's facility. With the sun streaming through glass skylights all around you, it's easy to forget that the temperature outdoors is 5 below. Come for a Sunday brunch with friends, and then shop through their extensive gift shop, which has so much more than plants. Really a treat to spend an hour or two here on cold winter day, and the treats from Harry's are wonderful.

They were professional, timely, and very considerate of what I was asking for. I didn't have multiple arrangements, or centerpieces, or decorations; even though my request was minimal (bouquets, corsages, and boutonnières) Caty took my vision by creating beautiful pieces of work. I’m quite disappointed! I called 2 minutes after the store opened and was put on hold with a recording saying I am in position 1 in the queue. The time shows that I’ve been on hold now for 29 minutes. When do I give up and assume Bachman’s does not answer their phone? ....I was just disconnected (no person, just disconnected)!!!!! Wow! I used to have a deep respect for Bachmans. I called back and tried the customer service department (different from above). The gentleman was very kind and was transferring me to the department I needed and accidentally disconnected me. I again called back and then entered the CS queue. I’m done!! To those of you reading this-don’t even try!!

Bachmans can be hit or miss. Sometimes they have what you want and sometimes it's a decent price. Other times, it is ridiculously expensive and all the plants look mostly dead. It is a good place to stop but don't rely on them if you need something.

Good variety of indoor/outdoor plants, pots/planters, and a wide variety of supplies for your gardening needs. A good one stop shop. Prices are on the high end, but not as high as some boutique garden stores. You can definitely get cheaper plants at your Home Depots, Menards and such, but Bachmans has better quality plants. The supplies, you can skip those and get those from the home centers for a better price.

There might be less expensive stores for the things they carry but I believe their plant stock is top notch and I have the least amount of die off from the plants I buy from them than from any other store. Besides their garden stock, they have a nice selection of plant containers, flowering (indoor) plants, small houseplants and terrarium plants. My husband got me a pot of blooming spring bulbs one Valentines Day that lasted for weeks and smelled wonderful. I don't shop their gift area much but it's definitely worth a look around if one is gift shopping (they also have a decent selection of greeting cards). In March, it's our yearly ritual - when we are totally fed up with winter - to go get some coffee and treats at Patrick's Cafe and sit in their greenhouse 'street cafe' area smelling greenery and flowers and watching the occasional sparrow that's found its way in - pretending, for a time, that spring has arrived. On the way out, we buy a flowering plant to help keep our spirits high till spring finally comes, for real, to Minnesota.

This store has everything! So many beautiful thoughtful gifts, and the flowers are spectacular, fragrant and beautifully arranged, a little expensive, but well worth it for that gift that you need! Delicious chocolates from Abdallah. Festive napkins for Thanksgiving and fun fall decorations-and Christmas as well! The service was excellent my gifts were wrapped with special care tissue paper and a grosgrain ribbon it was the best experience there I would go there over any place for a gift!

I was confused because it smelled like a plants house. Turns out there is a huge parking lot on the other side that goes to the green house area. I love the selection of flowers, premade floral arrangements, and gifts they offer. The plant selection door in ground planting is very varied and well taken care of. I have used their return services for outdoor plants before and found them to stand behind their word. They strive to have high quality plants.

When the woman says we need to go to Bachman's, I don't complain too much. They have the little french cafe inside and they have the best quiche in town. She get's plants, I get brunch, everyone is happy.

Awesome place! It was huge! So huge I have to go back because I didnt even make a dent. A little pricey, but that's bachmans in general. They had a little vintage market thing going on too. That was done really well and featured quite a few local vendors.

Very appeasing atmosphere and a nice get away during the colder months. The food was a little pricey and nothing special. Okay place to take your mother, aunt or grandma for the atmosphere but wouldn't go back.

The gift and flower shop is overflowing with seasonal decorations, fun party ideas, ornaments, and a plethora of gift giving ideas. Prices are a little high but if you are looking for unique decor Bachman's is a safe bet.
