The flowers I ordered for my wife's birthday were absolutely beautiful. I placed my order on a Sunday, at about 10:00 a.m., and asked for delivery, as early as possible. I accepted their promise that delivery would take place by 5:00 p.m. However, within an hour to an hour and a half, a dozen, beautiful, long stemmed red roses arrived at my door. I would recommend them to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

I called to order flowers and chocolates for my mom. The arrangement arrived the next day as agreed. The problem was the arrangement was totally different from the one I had chosen. I get it, everyone makes mistakes. I called the office and explain the situation he was more concerned about picking up the wrong arrangement than rectifying the problem. I will not order from this place ever again. If I were you I would run FAST!!!

Owner nor manager ever returned my calls regarding a $74 order that was never delivered. Order was placed and after days of no flowers I contacted them and they said the delivery driver said no one has been home. I was never called nor was the person who was supposed to receive the flowers. I inquire after 3 days if a new arrangement was going to be made they said no. The gentleman who tooky call was extremely rude and never offered a apology or a solution. Still no word from the manager, no flowers and they have not refunded my $74.

Awful company. My boyfriend ordered me flowers for Valentine’s Day and they never got delivered. Detroit Floral wouldn’t answer their phone and their voicemail was full. I had to visit the location in person twice just for them to refund him for his purchase. Awful way to run a business.

Items were shipped within hours of ordering so that is great! However, I ordered a custom/specialized vase which the flowers were not delivered in. Also, the flower set I ordered was not what I received. Multiple roses and daisies turned into one red rose with no daisies whatsoever. Instead, a random array of small flowers in a normal clear case. Be aware before you order from this business!

Received beautiful birthday flowers 3 weeks ago, a surprise from my children in San Francisco. White roses, carnations, and stargazer lilies--the last two buds just opened--with delicate bluish purple iris. Perfect for February, the effect was wintry snow with a hint of spring. Handsome cobalt glue glass vase I will use again.

Ordered @ 4am to my wife job .. So they had from 9am to 5pm to deliver the Mother day Flowers to her job... Spoke with the company numerous of times .. To check the delivery times.. its now 4:30pm.. Still no delivery.. They end up delivering the flowers to my home at 8:45pm.. The Surprise at her job is over.. Never happened $92.00 spent for nothing..

We went there for a floral arrangement for a funeral and what we ordered is what we got. It was actually bigger than I thought it would be and was Very pretty and we were happy with how it turned out. The owner is who took care of us I believe and he was nice and helpful. It was made and delivered within two hours as he told us it would be.

Do NOT trust this place. I ordered a very nice flower arrangement to be delivered to a funeral. This was very important, because I could not be at the funeral. I did not receive the confirmation email on Friday (the day the flowers were supposedly delivered) so I called on Satuday morning. We figured out that they had my email wrong, but I was promised that the flowers I had ordered were delivered. When my friend returned, I asked about the flowers and found out that he did not receive them. I called the store to complain and spoke to Kevin. I informed him that the flowers I ordered did not get to the person they were sent to. His answer still baffles me... "well we delivered them to that address and we have a signature"... It is NOT the signature of the person that the flowers were sent to.... So this place will deliver your flowers to anyone that is willing to sign for them !!! I do not know what ever happened to the $54 worth of flowers that I ordered..... and I have yet to receive any confirmation email. Kevin had very poor customer service skills, he did nothing to try to make it right, and when I asked about speaking to a manager, he was very confident in telling me that the manager wasnt going to do anything either. He just kept repeating "we did our job - we have a signature " .... He even sent me a text message photo of this signature.... it's a scribble that can not be understood.This is the worst experience I have ever had with a florist and it's a shame that I trusted them with something that was so important. Please do not make the same mistake!!!

Terrible customer service, which is obvious as soon as they answer the phone with "hello", as if you're calling their personal phone. Ordered some flowers that were guaranteed to be there by 5 and they didn't come at all, still waiting for my receipt as well. Now I'm calling them and not getting a response. Stay away from them at all costs.

I have been using Detroit Floral for many years. I am active duty military and have always been able to use Detroit Floral to send flowers locally as well as any where in the country. They are quick to respond to the customers request and always followup with the customer if there are any concerns. Recently I needed to get some flowers sent to my sister in Georgia to wish her well after her surgery. Detroit Floral made it happen that same day. No matter where I am in the world I will continue to use Detroit Floral for all of my special occasions.

If i could give this florist 0 stars i would. HORRIBLE service and definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone! I ordered flowers for someone very dear to me, i had them ordered on a Monday and asked to deliver them the same day as they promised me "100% guaranteed same day delivery".Today is now Wednesday and i have yet gotten a notification that they have been delivered. They NEVER answer the phone! iv'e called more than 50 times and out of 50 they answered once, i explained my problem and she promises to call me back because she had to talk to the delivery truck guy who had forgotten to deliver my flowers and don't be surprised because she didn't call back. BASICALLY A MESS! I am VERY upset. I spent $50 for no reason and they ruined my surprise. Never am i ordering flowers from you guys ever again!

Ordered flowers for delivery to wife's job, they did not deliver and charged a extremely high delivery fee and had the nerve to tell me they could not issue a refund. Eventually they stopped answering the phone.

My brother ordered thru ftd and it was sent to this florist unfortunately instead of our local florist. They arrived with dead flowers in them..very unattractive....looked like weeds. I called on friday afternoon and was told they would replace them. Two calls in next day..told delivery guys on way. Still no flowers. Place is a scam. I will stick with Belleville canton or ann arbor. Detroit ..never. no mothers day flowers this year.

I ordered flowers over a month ago...they couldn't deliver the flowers no one called to tell me anything so 2 weeks later I ask for a refund and it's going on 3 weeks and I haven't received the flowers or a refund...very poor communication skills .

Just had the literal worst experience I've ever had with a single company in my entire life. Ordered flowers for next day delivery. Next day get an email flowers have arrived. Hours go by with nothing so I ask if recipient had gotten a surprise, they of course haven't. Reach out to hotel desk to see if flowers were delivered, they of course weren't. Girlfriend reaches out to store who informs her they were delivered and are rude enough to the point of her in tears when she calls me. They ask for a tracking number so they can see if it was delivered.... you guys shipped the package if anyone has a tracking number it would be you... but ok. Say they will resend flowers today. Arrive at hotel with flowers and proceed to text and call recipient when she is in a meeting being highly unprofessional. Recipient isn't even home yet to let me know what the quality of the flowers are but with this entire experience and now reading past reviews I'm sure they will look like they were picked on the side of the freeway. Order from somewhere else and save yourself a headache or order from them and get the worst customer service you've ever received and if you're lucky still get flowers. Oh and make sure you hand up on them before they hang up on you after every short encounter on the phone.

Great customer service when I called from out of state to order a funeral arrangement. Hence the 2 stars. But the entire white floral turned brown on Day 2 in the funeral home!!!! No other arrangements looked like it. Disappointed! It’s hard to order flowers from out of town...you’re trusting they do what’s pictured and it will look fresh. Do not use them.
