Jamie at Chalet Floral was awesome. We told him our vision and he made everything possible. I even changed my mind in the last two weeks about floral centerpieces, and it was not a big deal. We also did a lot of our own decorations and assembled the centerpieces and made the ushers boutineers. Jamie worked as a partner to us and would give us advice on how to make it all flow. He is amazing and works hard to make your day special. I would 100% recommend Jamie at Chalet Floral!

The floral department was a huge hit! Loved everything about my flowers down to my decorations they set up! Amazing work! The tuxedo side on the other hand not good at all. We were told on multiple occasions that that’s just how renting tuxedos go. If having every single on of my husbands groomsmen's tux’s wrong then I guess I’m the wrong one. I understand how the measurements work. But we had five groomsmen it was either the shirts, the jacket, the shoes or the tie that was wrong. The man working there with the glasses has no clue what he’s doing. He had to be told by Jamie to call the company they order from to get my husband the right tie. Also he offered to pack the best mans things up. The worker forgot the shoes and the proceeded to blame it on the best man. Yes they brought them the stuff the day off the wedding but so unprofessional. Not only did we complain multiple times but nothing was done. We will not be using them for anything in the future. If you order from chalet floral for tuxes order ahead of time and make sure all your things are accounted for. We have yet to hear back from Doug the one who we were told we would multiple times.

Jamie was so incredibly helpful! He had such great ideas and took the theme of our wedding, art deco, and made it come to life! We were so incredibly impressed with his practical suggestions, he knowledge of flowers, and his help in keeping us in budget, but giving us such amazing and decadent arrangements! We had Chalet do our flowers, and then transported them three hours away, the day before the wedding. Because of Jamie's extensive knowledge of flowers and what would work for our November wedding, the flowers were still just as fresh as they were when we took them from the shop! They were a beautiful addition to our wedding, and I know I will use them again for any event!

On the website i ordered a tapestry for a funeral. As I was driving to Muskegon (Detroit) I received a call saying they did not have the tapestry and what I would like sent. I asked if they could do plant arrangement with something about golf. The lady I was speaking with said golf? I said yes. When we arrived at the funeral home I was immediately asked about the arrangement. To be honest I was worried. We were so happy with the arrangement of plants, green covering, golf tee and golf club with vines going up the club. It was perfect, one of a kind. I wish I could post a picture.

First time the rses were wilted within 3 days (stems bent over and wilted) I called and they delivered fresh ones the very next day... That lasted for 10 days with out any issue at all. 2nd time I ordered... Again... 3 days wilted bad. This time I called and the lady said I could bring them in and they would look at them and fix me up. I told her I don't work in Muskegon and she said if I wanted anything I would have to bring them in. I offered to send her pictures of them... She said I needed to bring them in. His creativity and knowledge of weddings of all sorts shows in the care, time, and effort he put into our wedding. We hired him as our day of coordinator (highly recommend) and our wedding went off without a hitch. He was smiling, kind, helpful, and most of all made the night so much fun! I knew we were in good hands. The flower arrangements by Chalet were out of this world! I came to Chalet Floral with literally one week before my wedding. Like no joke. I met with Jamie and he was fantastic. I had roughly an hour to choose the flowers i wanted and then get back to work. I honestly had no idea what I wanted all I knew is I wanted pretty. Jamie and I talked about white roses and hydrangeas and some green in there for color with light purple and light blue little details to match my girls dresses. Well 2 days after speaking with Jamie I ended up in the hospital with my father and he passed away. I didn't want wedding anymore let alone flowers but we decided to go through with the ceremony anyways, here would be a good time to say we rushed a minister to the hospital and got married at my dads bedside before he passed, and hope for the best. Fast forward to saturday the 7th of October and I made a call to Chalet Floral asking them to make some changes to the already rushed order they were putting together. Now I needed to add a bright blue flower to my bouquet, my sister's bouquet -who was a bridesmaid, and to my brothers boutineer- he gave me away to honor my father and to feel like he was there with me in some way on that day. I was expecting to either have to pay a small fortune for this change or that it wouldn't be able to be done in the 4 days that were left until my wedding. However when I called I was told this wouldn't be a problem nor would there be any upcharge other than paying for the additional boutonniere for my brother. Now you have to realize that I am extremely paranoid and would not let for anyone else to pick up my flowers on the day of the wedding for fear they would never arrive. So the day of the wedding I go in about 10am to pay for the additional request and to my delighted surprise my flowers are ready to go. The wonderful gentleman at the counter took great care in making sure not only would my flowers travel well but that they would not get damaged or even ruffled. Just as I was about to leave I noticed that my brothers flower did not have the bright blue as I had requested and when I mentioned that one of the florists came up took it to the back and within minutes the flower was perfect and ready to go. Chalet Floral went above and beyond what I expected from them and I will forever be grateful. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for flowers for any occasion. They love what they do and will do whatever they can to make your day perfect. They take great pride in their work and it shows with the care that they show for their customers.

This is hands on my worse experience. We spent over 2 thousand on flowers and centerpiece rentals for my wedding and ceremony and they messed it up so horribly. I picked them out months in advance and even with that everything was rushed and awful. They didn't have all the flowers we talked about and they didn't have anything set up till less then 30 minutes before my ceremony was about to begin it was placed in bags on the grass. I know this because 40 minuates before ceremony my mother and my maid of honor called because nothing was set up. They were suppose to have everything set up also in the morning, which we repeatedly said but because he didn't write it down it didn't matter. We had people come in for cover from the rain after into the ballroom where decorations were to be set up and everything was still on the floor. My flowers that were suppose to be in a vase filled with water were put in a vase with a little bit of water at the bottom. They weren't on time, they didn't have the flowers we picked out, things weren't set up the way we talked about, and they were just rude during it also. After all of this my mother went to them to clear up this issue with them for how unprofessional they were. Doug argued with my mother after about out displeasment. The decorater Jamie kept saying he should of asked more questions. Even though we told him repeatedly that before 11 and then to come back around 4 to move some ceremony pieces to the the reception. Do not go to this vendor for your wedding, unless you want stress and them to rip you off. Sincerely, A very unhappy bride

These folks are GREAT!! My mom is in a nursing facility and they deliver a new flower to her every 2 weeks (uses same vase). It is a wonderful way to let them know they are loved every single day by the delivery of this special flower. It doesn't cost that much and the quality is great. Excellent service. Most affordable in town. Cut our other 2 florist quotes in half for the wedding. Did a very wonderful job with the arrangements. Would use again for smaller stuff. Jamie was good and they had good material, prices were reasonable compared to Davids Bridal, good options, nice quality, but they ordered the wrong size for a couple of the guys and wanted to charge US for the rush shipping to get the correct sizes, plus the groom had to call in the first place - there was no follow up from Chalet

We used Chalet for everything- table linens, napkins, table runners, all centerpieces, all bouquets and bridal party flowers, everything and the prices were great! They were so fast and professional in both the setup and removal process at the end of the night! It literally could not have been any smoother!!! Jamie even made sure to incorporate two special brooches (they belonged to both of my late grandmothers) into my bridal bouquet and everything just turned out amazingly! I went over my order 3 different times with them and the day before I was to pick up my linens my cocktail tables were the wrong linens. They were too short so had to use 2 linens per table. I asked for them to send someone out to my venue to set my cocktail tables up and they did. Had to re steam a lot of linens and runners. Which took a lot more time. My colors were amazing gray table linens with navy and coral runners. They did an amazing job on my "in honor" bouquet. Many of my guest complimented on it.

When I had my consultation with Jaime I thought it was just going to be about flowers, but then he started talking about decorations and I was floored with all of the things they could do! Besides what chalet did I didn't have a ton of decorations to clean up at the end of the night. It was amazing not having to make my families and wedding party stay until all hours of the night to clean up. And they went above and beyond my hopes for my flowers for the bouquets and the table decorations, and it wasn't overly expensive. I was very happy with my experience with chalet. Chalet Floral was so helpful for my wedding! They had the best rental prices on linens and vases (by far) and had a large selection to choose from. I needed a couple extra linens from what they had in stock and they ordered more for my event, only charging me the same rental price as the linens they already had in stock. Their staff is amazing to work with and has many ideas on what you can do. They have linens, décor, flowers, vases, cake stands, etc. TONS to look through!

Doug at Chalet in Muskegon is the most insensitive, unprofessional person I know. I went into his place of business spent over an hour selection a floral arrangement for my mother..I asked that the arrangement be pink and blue. I was assure that what I asked for would be professionally done...When I got to the the viewing the arrangement I selected were all shades of yellow no pink or blue anywhere. My sisters and I were in total dismay. I called to inquire. they came out and again my arrangement wasnt correct they put whatever colors they wanted totally ignoring my request...Then this Doug character called me, angry at me because I wasn't satisfied with how they had treated me and how they didn't take care with fulfilling my order. I asked to be compensation...long story short he cancelled my account and asked me to never come there again...Dont worry Doug, I won't but I caution anyone purchasing from there be careful he has a heart of stone..Doug that was my mom and I dont get a redo of that day. Maybe those colors didnt mean anything to you but it meant everything to me...You Loser!!!!! The young lady who worked with me Kayla your were amazing the customer service we recieved from you was outstanding...None of this was your fault...My distaste is at Doug at how he responded to my issue

I use Chalet for all my flower needs! P.S. In the spring and summer their garden shop is beautiful with a lot of choices for outdoor flowers and décor.

I was an out of state bride, and far and away Jamie at Chalet Floral made my every vision come true. I initially contacted Eastern Floral but had a negative experience. As soon as I contacted Jamie he was prompt getting back with me, communicated well throughout, helped me with details I hadn't even considered, and was flexible with changes I made as the planning process went along. My wedding was multicultural and we had trouble finding really large pedastal candles. Jamie was the one who single handedly found the perfect candles and completed my mother in law's request for the church. Jamie is also just really friendly and was genuinely interested in all of the wedding plans (which definitely can't be said for all my vendors). The day of the wedding was more beautiful than I even imagined. All night long the guests were complementing the flowers and decor. All of Chalet's staff was efficient, friendly, and accommodating. My family accidentally left some decorations behind that were similar to the linens I rented from Chalet. Chalet very easily found our decorations and got them back to us very quickly. I cannot say enough good things about Chalet! I'm not sure if West Michigan has a "Florist of the Year" award but if so I would vote for Chalet Floral as many times as I could!

They gave me the most beautiful centerpieces and made many suggestions to keep costs down and assist with the day of organization.
