We called on our way up to Maine two days before Mother's Day. The flowers were for a friend in Somerville, who's dad had just died. When they answered the phone we said we would like to send some flowers. The woman who answered said dismissively "not for today". We were so shocked that we called someone else and not only were they professional on the phone, the flowers were delivered the day before Mother's Day. Maybe Mystic should be in some other business? Sorry you were busy. That's $95. you didn't get.

I have driven past Mystic Florist many times and had never been there before, but like to try to support local business whenever possible. I went there to buy a bouquet for a friend and was told they were too busy to put one together. I know it's Valentine's Day weekend, but that's when people want to buy flowers, right? There was a store full of flowers, at least three staff and only one other customer in there. I'm not really sure how they expect to sell the flowers in there if they're unable to spare 2 minutes to put together a simple arrangement. Disappointing, as I'd like to support the local business, but they have lost me as a current or future customer.

The following is a message that I (Marazzi family) sent to the florist: I have to tell you what a horrible terrible job you did today with my mothers wake/ funeral. I really can't believe what was there for flowers: whites were yellow, red were white, it was horrible. She ASKED for CASH we gave it she screwed us big time I can't believe this happen . Her business should be closed. Going to send someone to investigate her. She ruined the funeral/wake and made is hard to get the proper closure. -Marazzi Family

It's extremely rare that *I* get flowers, so this was a thrilling treat while on vacation! I received an exquisite bouquet of mixed botanicals -- including one verity of flower that I'd never seen before! Mystic's quality of flowers and design was top notch. The florals were extremely fresh and high quality. The delivery driver was attentive and cautious. We entertained while in Boston. Everyone was blown away by the flowers. The smell was amazing. I made an order from Oklahoma for a friend that lives in Somerville and the lady from Mystic Florist (apologies I didn't catch your name) called me to let me know that the arrangement I ordered wasn't available. She worked with me to get it remedied and went above and beyond - just superior customer service and my friend loved the flowers she got that afternoon! I couldn't recommend them enough!!
