Placed an order on February 7th for Valentine's Day, they said they can get the flowers no problem showed up February 14th at 5pm when I said I would be there . no one could find the order said I never called, showed them proof on my phone that I called. they said they don't have them

My grandmother is terminally ill and is under hospice care. My boyfriend is currently in the Navy and is deployed overseas. He insisted he wanted to send flowers to her to brighten her day. He used an online flower website (FTD, 1-800-Flowers, etc..) and the service cancelled the order. Apparently the specific bouquet he ordered had flowers that were not in stock. Since he's overseas he put my phone number on the order as the contact number. He paid extra to have the flowers delivered the next day. No one from FTD called me regarding the cancelled order. I spent the entire day with my grandma so I'd be there when she received the flowers. The day dragged on and there was still no delivery. I panicked and started calling florists affiliated with FTD. I figured Hillside would be the one as we are from Woburn. The owner of the shop told me that he had the order on his computer screen but it was cancelled by FTD. I was heartbroken as my grandma was waiting for her special surprise. I ended up driving to Hillside to further explain my situation and they made me a GORGEOUS bouquet with vase FOR FREE. It was filled with gorgeous daisies, carnations, and roses. I was really taken aback by the kindness and compassion shown to me. I highly recommend this florist and will be using it from now on.
