Please support this fantastic small business! The owner gave me the personal customer care you can only get from a local business. I had to order the flowers over the phone but she made me feel like I was right there in the store, getting face to face excellent customer service. I ordered a boutonniere and corsage for my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary (the day before our celebration) and they had them ready for my with no problem. And they were beautiful! Ordered a floral arrangement from Amanda's to be delivered to my friend for her birthday. The original arrangement I ordered could not be completed because they did not have the specific flowers. Once I spoke with an employee (owner?), I decided on a substitute. The arrangement my friend received today was absolutely stunning! Excellent customer service and easy-to-use website. I am so disappointed with this place!!! I ordered Valentine's flowers to be delivered to my women co-workers, and I ordered them in January, and specifically stated that we opened at 7:30 am and would like them to be delivered as early as possible after that. It's now 1:30 pm and after 5 phone calls and messages that went unanswered, I finally got a hold of somebody and they haven't even left the shop. I will never buy anything from this place again. I am so disappointed!!

Amanda is my go to florist. I don't have to direct the arrangements more than a general look and price range. According to recipients and photos, they are always beautiful and not stingy even at modest order prices. Amanda is a very congenial person running a long running business. I am surprised at the "ruined Valentine's Day" review, wondering if it's mistakenly placed for another business.

There have been numerous times that I've ordered specialty flowers from Amanda's: Amaryllis, Protea, Bird of Paradise and orchids. Each time the flowers are in pristine condition and gorgeous. The ladies could not be more helpful!

They have great advice if you have plants around the house, and the Bouquets are always fully arranged putting great big smile's on my lady's face, and without breaking the bank. RUINED VALENTINE'S DAY. No delivery, avoid all phone calls. literally they forgot to process paperwork. Did nothing to make it right. All they said was, "we didn't charge your card so your all set". The have no business being in business!!!

I ordered what I thought would be a nice arrangement for Valentine's Day and politely requested a call to remind me to pick them up. I was at work and was unable to answer my phone so they even left two polite messages for me. I get there to see gorgeous arrangements everywhere and my arrangement exceeded my expectations. The flowers have lasted over a week now and still look beautiful.

Terrible service. I ordered a floral bouquet thru the FTD website on Feb 8 for delivery to my wife on Feb 14, Valentine's Day. Late afternoon on Feb 14 the florist left a phone message to call back to schedule delivery on Feb 15. Repeated attempts that evening and the following morning resulted in no one answering the phone and voicemail was full. In frustration, I called and complained to FTD who must have somehow contacted the florist because the bouquet arrived shortly after. Also FTD was gracious enough to refund the entire cost. Later looking at the florist's website, quite a number of reviews were from customers with similar poor service remarks. I cannot recommend Amanda's Flowers.

Had the worst experience with this place. I called at 3:30 on a Saturday, because my sister was going to Prom last minute. Since my sister would be going alone to prom I called around to see if any florist had a corsage left over or if they had extras and when these people answer they were very rude and said that if I got there by 4 maybe they could do one, but that they were $35 and if the price was the issue than she didn't know, but if I wanted I could go. So, I had no other option because every other place was closed or out. So I walk into the store and I asked if I could get a corsage made and the person at the front I think her name was Stephanie said the they couldn't do a corsage because they have been very busy with late orders for prom items, so she looked at the florist and asked her if she could do one and she said that only if she could make it with an orchid then she could. The girl at the front immidately said it was going to be $40 because of the type of flower, but the florist said no to charge me $35. So I sit to wait for it to get done and a lady friend of theirs walks in and started talking to them about how busy they were and the florist said that they had to stop taking orders at 11AM because of all the prom items the people had to order late. And then the florist tells the lady that I had came in at last minute too to order a corsage and since she had some orchids that she was going to throw away she was able to use one for mine. I was so upset, because they thought I was not listening. If you are not going to sell in a good matter then close your doors. It's not the clients fault that your day was bad or that you had a lot of work. At the end I paid the amount that you asked and There was no reason for you to treat people like that.

Recently ordered flowers for my wife and needed a change from the usual favorites. Stephanie made some excellent recommendations and the final arrangement was stunning.

The first week of November, they promised to deliver on a certain day, same day as ordered but failed to do so. They claimed not to be able to find address but it was a public business on main commercial street, easy to find. They delivered the flowers the next afternoon without an apology. Flowers didn't look fresh.

They did our wedding a couple of years ago. The flowers were very nice but the communication and customer service left this a bitter experience. They're a typical Santa Fe company in which mediocre customer service and laziness prevail. The manager was extremely rude and presumptuous. I strongly urge you not to waste time with these people.

My mom ordered me flowers for my birthday, paid extra to have them arrive on my birthday - but they didn't. They arrived the next day. Also they didn't deliver the premium package she ordered, which, the arrangement they gave me was beautiful, it looked absolutely nothing like what was advertised - she also paid extra for a balloon which was not delivered. To sum it up, my mom paid to send me flowers on my birthday - didn't happen, didn't send the right flowers, didn't send the balloon she paid for with the premium package. They refused to refund her completely, they gave her a "25% refund". I just think this is horrible, my mom was way more upset about this than I was but, I feel like if I didn't write something here there would never be justice. People should know this is how they treat customers before they buy things here. - My response to the Owner, since I cannot seem to comment on their own response. Why would you work with a company that has horrific customer reviews online? You know that they offer claims to customers that they will provide a specific service and routinely screw them over. That makes you a willing participant in fraud. Troys flowers has the worst score on the BBB that I have ever seen. The fact that they offer something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than what you do - and you offer NO EXPLANATION besides "well we don't have it so we made something different" isn't good enough. I'm sorry but I have no sympathy for a company that willingly works with frauds. I can also tell by your other reviews here that I am not alone. I don't really see the point in blaming another company for something you are aware that routinely happens.

Absolutely ruined the whole experience. They state in their substitution clause that in the even your selection is unavailable. Basically stating that a substitution of comparable quality and value would be selected. That is so far from what actually happens. I selected a product called "Telfora's Hearts Of Gold Bouquet" It shows a nice red Vase with a Nice and full bouquet of red flowers only.. What was delivered was an incredibly cheap clear glass vase that you could buy at a Market Basket and only a few red flowers... The rest of this horrible arrangement was made up of pink flowers and daisy's. Daisy's would be the LAST thing I would EVER chose. The whole experience was a nightmare and I would not recommend them to my enemies. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB because this is NOT a substitution of equal value. Not even close.. Terrible experience that ruined what was supposed to be a very special experience.

Absolutely wonderful! Best florist in Santa Fe!! I live in DC, called to put in a birthday gift order for my sister-in-law who lives in Santa Fe. Picked out an autumn arrangement on-line. As beautiful as the picture of the floral arrangement I ordered was on their website was, the arrangement they made and delivered to her home was even more beautiful! The delivery service was fast and efficient with a follow-up email confirming time and location of the delivery. Couldn’t wish for anything more. Wish we had a shop like yours back East!

Terrible experience with Amanda's flowers. Ordered days in advance. They promised would get delivered two days later in the morning. They hadn't been delivered by 4:00pm day of delivery. Called and said they were on the way. Still not delivered by 7:00 pm. Ruined the occasion! Cancelled order. Would never recommend Amanda's Floweres to anyone.
