I have never had a problem with any of the flower deliveries I've placed with York Flowers (in the 2 years I've been placing orders) whether they were local or out of state delivered. My orders have always been delivered on time and beautifully arranged as pictured on their website. Their staff are gracious and helpful, offering suggestions when I've placed my orders. Also the recipients of my orders have told me that York Flowers local drivers have acted very professional in their delivery.

I was hesitant to order flowers because my wife is a florist so you can see the dilemma I'm in so I don't do it very often. We were visiting from Seattle so I took a gamble on York. The florist I talked to on the phone was very detail oriented and took my order and said it would be at the restaurant when we arrived. The arrangement was there for our anniversary and it was exactly as I wanted and my florist wife was ecstatic. Whew! And It was affordable. I will use them again when we visit next year.

I called from North Carolina at something like three in the afternoon on a Friday to see if they could please figure something out in terms of delivering flowers to relatives for my aunt's art opening that same evening at Glen Echo Park (I had had a health issue crop up and couldn't make it at the last minute, and was trying to pay my respects), and in spite of the driver who usually covered that area having already left for the day and my not being sure exactly what I wanted, they came up with something matching my specifications and got it right where it needed to be in plenty of time, for far less than they could have charged under the circumstances (I don't buy cut flowers much, but theirs was quite reasonable relative to usual prices as far as I know), and without complaint. My aunt and grandmother were touched, and said that the pieces looked great, and really livened up the refreshments table at the opening. The manager I spoke with even called back and left me a message to reassure me that the delivery had gone through as planned, and to thank me for my business, in spite of the trouble I had put them all through, and despite the unlikelihood that I will ever have the chance to shop there again. So, really excellent service, from a distance; thank you.

I've used York on a few different occasions and the flowers were always beautiful, but I never ordered anything for myself. Today I picked up a small order for my hair for my very small wedding. Because I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, and really couldn't do a very good job of describing what I was looking for, I was a little nervous on how they would turn out. They are perfect!! The florist gave me two different options that I could combine if I didn't like one or the other. It's hard to describe but it was a very creative idea! It's a very pleasant shop with direct involvement by the owner, who originally took my order. I didn't know he was the owner until I went back to take some hair pins like he asked, and one of the other florist told me who he was. Seems like a very tight knit family environment (which probably explains the extremely pleasant atmosphere, and the warm sincerity in the customer service). I won't go anywhere else.

Very responsive and very professional. I ordered some sympathy plant and forgot to sign my message. I emailed them and left a voice mail since it was after hours. They respond both via phone and email to ensure the correction has been made. I received a photo and a text from my friend and she was very happy with the plant. When I saw the picture I was pleasantly suprised as to the quality. It was beautiful and perfect gift to because it made her smile.
