Worst customer service and my arrangement never made it to where it was suppose to go!

Very disappointing. I had called several days in advance to ensure delivery of an arrangement for a special occasion; I asked that it be delivered by noon, if possible, or at least mid-day. It did not arrive until 7:00 pm, when we were gone for the evening, so the flowers were not "there" for the occasion. Yes, they technically arrived on the date, but they were not present to be enjoyed. Also, I had specifically asked for a mix of red and yellow roses. The yellow roses have red trim, so they do not "read" as yellow. Instead, the bouquet looks red and orange (or, from a distance, red and pink). It's quite lovely, but it's not what I wanted and not what I asked for. Finally, for the price, I was expecting long-stem roses, but this arrangement was just standard-length stems. (I recognize that I should have asked...) So I didn't get what I wanted, what I asked for, when I asked for it, or what I *thought* I was paying for. The arrangement is lovely, and I'm sure that if I were to walk into the store I would find much that I like and that I would be happy to receive as a gift, but I will not be a return customer for special orders.

Spent over 100 dollars and placed order DAYS in advance, they didn't deliver the flowers on time. They think 8PM on valentines day is acceptable. Terrible service

The flowers they delivered were as pictured on the website. The delivery scheduling was the issue we had with this company. The sales rep was asked if they could do next day delivery by 2pm and I was ASSURED they would be able to deliver by the requested time. The rep even suggested an earlier time, 1pm. The flowers arrived after 4pm and left in another office suite, which meant the anniversary flowers were not received until 5 days later. Happy Anniversary Honey! After contacting the company they said they don't guarantee delivery times however would provide a refund. I have since called them several times to follow up and each time they said the credit would be applied. Disappointment : ( What I have learned is they can provide nice flowers if you don't require any delivery commitment. Customer Service matters to me. Do what you say, say what you do. I can make an informed choice based on truthful information.

I’m confused. I thought this place might be off Boiling Brook Parkway in the Rockville area. The 360 degree picture shows the off Boiling Brook Parkway shopping center area (off Nicholson Lane). When you input the address you are led to a house that I have just recently noticed Feb. 2019 that has been having a florist sign flag out front. There seems to be only one Strathmore Ave. in Garrett Park that extends from route 355/Rockville Pike to Keswick Street, it appears, just west of Beach Drive and the east side is Knowles Avenue. Anyway, it was said to be open until 8 p.m. and since I thought it was off Boiling Brook Pkwy. I was going, I figured, just being maybe about 5 p.m. I would try to see what flowers they had. When I was routed I was seeing that it might be the house I’d seen. I had already driven to Wyaconda Road off Boiling Brook but routed GPS to figure things out and was surprised that I went to Beach Drive and Knowles Avenue turning right. When we went past the address/house, no flag was out front and it didn’t even seem the little bit of festive that I had remembered seeing, but I noticed people taking in trash containers from the curb and you could not tell that it was the florist place. I came back the other direction and noticed a patchy roof, something weird like a large rectangle piece of slate with a broken corner and the place seemed to look a bit dilapidated and not open for customers. It’s a small yellow house with covered porch and I guess I can say there must have been a driveway.

Short version: If you want your flowers delivered on time, choose another florist. Long version: I contacted Rockville Florist the morning of my girlfriend and my anniversary before 11 a.m. for a flower delivery to her office that day. I ordered a $100 bouquet of flowers and asked that they be delivered by 3 p.m. The florist didn't say there would be any issue with delivering the flowers by that time. At 4 p.m., I called back and said - "I haven't heard anything... were the flowers delivered?" I'm told "Oh, you're the next delivery." I said "the next delivery, are you kidding me? You knew that they needed to be delivered by 3 p.m. and you're telling me I'm next, and its after 4 p.m.?" Long story short, they delivered the flowers at 4:32 p.m., which was shortly after my girlfriend left the office for the day, not receiving flowers on our anniversary. Very disappointing. Manage expectations with your customers. If you can't meet the mark, say you can't so they can use a different florist that day.

I needed to get flowers last minute for my girlfriend as a spur of the moment surprise and looked for a local shop that could get me something pretty but not too expensive. I don't know much about flowers but the owner was very understanding and accommodating. He put together a beautiful arrangement that my girlfriend absolutely loved and he gave me a great deal on them. If I need flowers for any other occasion I will definitely stop by here again for the friendly service and beautiful flowers.Reccommend to anyone looking for a great flower shop !

If I could put 0 star, I would. I advise anyone who wants to send flowers to read their Yelp reviews. I went by Google reviews and was dearly mistaken. This business is unethical and I suspect they are operating out of their home as opposed to having a store front. They said they delivered flowers for a loss of a loved one and never did! And it seems that I'm not the only one being scammed. Many others received notices that their arrangements were delivered when in fact they were not. And their phone number doesn't work. Please be aware!! I have to call my credit card company to get a refund. They operate as Gene's Florist and Gaithersburg Florist and Gift Basket as well. Please note any good reviews may have been written by them. Again, check their Yelp reviews.

I ordered flowers to be delivered early yesterday afternoon for an extremely important reason and was assured the order would be received at that time. A simple mistake led to no delivery (transcription error of an "8" for a "5". The called an apologized. Last night the man who promised to call me back did not; perhaps if he had, we could have corrected the error. They will deliver today I hope and did try to make up for the time error by doubling the order.

Unfortunately even though the flower arrangement was delivered on time and the recipient enjoyed them, everything else about the process was horrid. When calling to order the arrangement the person on the phone was short and abrasive. Afterwards, when attempting to get a receipt for the purchase we were told that they don't handle that at their location and was told to email to get a receipt. After waiting over a week and having received nothing, we called back and was told that the person in charge of that email and sending out receipts was not in, which is fine, but that they would inform them to read their emails to make sure we received out receipt. I still have not received anything. I attempted to call again yesterday (7/6/17) and both the local and toll-free number switched over to what seemed to be a cell phone that then said the mailbox was full and not accepting any voicemails. I attempted to call multiple times yesterday with the phone constantly just ringing and then going to the full voicemail. I even attempted to call this morning (7/7/17) and now it just flat out says for both the local and toll-free numbers that the line is no longer in service. I work for a business and this arrangement was for one of our employees who recently had a baby. What is worse, is that on the card all they put was 'From your family' and did not put 'at -our company name-' therefore leaving our employee to sit and wonder who actually sent the flowers. When speaking initially to get the flowers sent I specifically had to spell out our company name to the person on the phone multiple times and it seems instead of writing it down, they chose to omit it completely. All in all, this experience has been unfortunate and disappointing.

Well.. am from Canada so googled florist to send flowers to someone nearby. Had no idea but randomly chose these guys based on the overwhelming reviews. Rockville Florist arranged a beautiful birthday bouquet with roses and lilies, and then were able to accommodate a special request to include a bottle of champagne in the next day delivery (on a Saturday). I was delighted by this incredible level of customer service. Superior florist and highly recommended. Would order again in a heartbeat.

My boyfriend ordered flowers for me for Valentines Day. I leave work at 2:30 everyday as I have over an hour drive to get home. He asked if the flowers could be delivered by 2:00, he was told they absolutely could. This was important so if they would have been honest he would have went somewhere else. The flowers were never delivered and I actually waited until after 3pm. Needless to say I didnt get my Valentines Day flowers. So after calling and asking for the refund he was told the money would go back on his card. He called yesterday over a month later because it still had not been returned. He was sweet talked into trying to deliver the arrangement again. He told them that it had to be here by 2:00, they assured him they would make sure it was here by 2. Again I stayed and waited and at 2:20 I called to cancel myself because to do this once is really bad and to do it twice was just inexcusable. I was told he would call driver to get over here asap. The flowers showed up about 2:45pm. I should have refused them. The flowers smelled amazing but there was NO WATER in the arrangement, there was no packet of preserver that has always come on every arrangement I have ever received from anyone else. Also, my name was spelled incorrectly on the card after my boyfriend even spelled it for them. I am not sure why great customer service is so hard to come by. I think that they should at least offer a partial refund of his money or do something to rectify all their mistakes. They should be glad my boyfriend is such a calm guy because I would not have been so nice. I WILL NEVER order from there again. Giving flowers is supposed to be a great experience and bring joy. All they did was create anger and didnt even offer to make it right. Def not a good experience. I wish I could post this with no stars but they wont let me. Very disappointed TWICE!!! :(

Stay away. Ordered 12 tulips in the week before Mother's Day 2018. Ordered them to be delivered on Saturday rather than Sunday. Was told that worked better for them. Saturday came and went. I called, no one answered and voicemail was full. I called again on the morning if mother's day. Got a hold of someone said they simply didn't deliver them because things were crazy. She said they had lots of angry customers but assured me the flowers would be delivered in short time. Long story short. After multiple calls and talking to one lady who said the owners are to blame, not the people taking the orders, flowers finally arrived at 815pm. Kids asleep so they didn't get to give them. One flower broken and about 4 already somewhat wilting. No body ever returned my calls or apologized. Bad, bad service.

Pictures of the flowers online are nothing close to what you get...actually you get about 1/4 of what the picture shows. Owner is rude on the phone and prices are high. There are plenty of other florists in the area that sell much nicer arrangements for better prices.

The customer service (or lack there of) was not a reflection of their google reviews. I called an hour before they closed requesting a simple bouquet for the next morning. The representative didn't even give me an opportunity to say how big OR SMALL I needed the arrangement to be, yet quickly assumed I needed it delivered and refused to even hear my request. Maybe they couldn't have completed the order...or maybe they could have...but how would they have known being unwilling to even hear it. Pretty sad.

I placed an order two days before we needed the arrangements. I called multiple times the day they were supposed to deliver them and they kept giving me excuses and saying that they were loading the trucks. Every time I asked for an ETA, the person that was on the phone said that he had to call his boss and call me back but never did. After I mentioned cancelling my order because it was not taken seriously they just stopped answering the phone. One of the times I called, I even asked the guy why was it taking so long since the delivery place was literally 3 minutes away from them, and he said that I didn’t understand how things work and that they were still loading the trucks. I ordered 2 flower arrangements and ended up receiving just one and they wouldn’t answer the phone to correct my order. I kept asking for a receipt or invoice and the person said they would text it to me but it never happened. Maybe picking up the flowers is different? I support local businesses, but sadly I wouldn’t order from them again.

Same story as some other reviews for this dump. Ordered flowers, they never came, couldn't get in contact with the place because no one answers the phone and the voicemail was full. Twice this place has fooled me. Same exact thing happened a few years ago, but I didn't remember it was the same place so I ordered again this year and here we are... Seems like they just accept every order that comes through online, and play the odds that not everyone will ask for a refund when they don't deliver. Terrible business.

When I finally found out I got the run around from Randy "the manager" who also lied about who the owner was and wouldn't give me a refund. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Apparently I should have looked these guys up on Yelp because I'm not the only one to experience this: I ordered flowers on a Thursday to arrive on the next Wednesday in Rockville, maybe a mile up the road from the shop. By 2 pm on Wednesday I realized the flowers had not been delivered. I followed up 4 times that afternoon. The people on the phone promised they would be delivered on that day and to be patient. After 5 pm I called again and requested that they return my money as the flowers didn't arrive in time and the recipient went home, the man on the phone repeated that the flowers were on their way and should be delivered that evening. On Thursday, I AGAIN requested that my money be returned as the flowers were not delivered. They said they would send bigger better flowers than what I had paid for. I said no, I just want my money, I had already taken the recipient out to lunch on Thursday in place of the flowers. I was told my money would be returned. My money was not returned. The flowers were delivered on Friday when the recipient was out of town. Obviously this was a huge disappointment as I wasted a day calling the shop and wasted money because the flowers didn't arrive on time and the recipient never got them.

So i ordered the Victorian Roses for my mother on her birthday. The website clearly said “shown at $49.99) with at least 22 roses. I went ahead and ordered the “as shown” bouquet for $49.99. The flowers were delivered as promised. Next day when i got home i was shocked to ee the bouquet had only 6 roses. Like seriously? you advertising 22 + while sending only 6? what a joke!!! never using this place again.
