First and fore most i would love to thank Johanna from the bottom of my heart. Johanna since day one was extremely helpful with flowers for our wedding. She know what we wanted and sent us pictures of how flowers were going to be displayed for our wedding. When the date was coming soon, we panicked as we didn't contract Johanna for flowers for the dinner table. My wife panicked as we were two days til our wedding and no arrangements of flowers. At this point my wife was wailing out as she knew flowers were an important piece for the wedding.Johanna showing empathy could feel her pain. She made sure Jackey would get the perfect wedding at the same time provide perfect customer service. Johanna last minute got us vases and flowers and everything we needed. She would always keep in touch with Jackey to make sure everything was good. The most important thing for us was that Johanna treated us as she knew us for a very long time but we just met! To me when you can get personal with client, it makes stuff feel easier and thats what Johanna did. After the wedding we still cant believe how it came out. Decorations were incredible! I'm glad that she became more than a vendor but a friend. Thank you for everything Johanna. I wish we could get married again so we can get your services. We will keep in touch! I appreciate Johanna's efforts to put together a nice and modest flower arrangement for our quaint wedding that happened on Thanksgiving Day at our home. I reached out to her for the first time by email two weeks before the event, told her our story, and asked if she'd be available to put together flower arrangements and install them on Thanksgiving Day at our house. She reached out to me immediately, expressed her interest to help out, and then called me the next day for details. Her quote was appreciated (given the fact that I asked for flower arrangements on a holiday, and that I only gave her 10 days lead time) but her attitude was the most memorable part. We were treated like insects by other florists on the same day that I was reaching out to Jireh's Flowers. The other 2 florists we reached out explicitly told us that our event was too insignificant and small for their company. Jireh's Flowers treated us with care, respect, and mindfulness even though I know they handled far larger events in the past. She expressed all the time that she understood our situation, she knows how to talk to my bride and reassure her, and she came in on-time on Thanksgiving DAY to install the arrangements. The arrangements were beautiful. Everyone liked it! I just thank you for your care, for your affection to our event, and for your punctuality. I highly recommend this company especially for local events.

Just sent my in-laws Get Well flowers from Jireh’s Flowers & Events and was truly wowed but the excellent customer service, great communication, and the quality and presentation of the flowers delivered. I send flowers to out-of-town friends and family a couple of times a year, and often only have a website to go off of to find a local florist - which is how I found Jireh’s. Everything looked lovely online so I was hopeful, however, from past experience with other florists, I know a pretty website is no guarantee.. The communication from Jireh’s was on point from the start. She called me the day I placed the order to let me know that she would need to slightly alter the arrangement but would upgrade to premium flowers for the change, and boy did she! She sent me a picture of the finished arrangement prior to delivery and it far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely use Jireh’s again for sending flowers to our Germantown family in the future, and would wholeheartedly recommend her to others.

Johanna is an amazingly talented floral designer, and so lovely to work with! This is the second year I've called her from Boston to order a birthday arrangement for my Germantown sister. And once again, she over-delivered. She puts passion into her designs, and they are simply gorgeous. If I still lived in Maryland I would be calling on her for all my floral needs!!!

If you are looking for a florist and you don’t choose Johanna- you’re crazy!! She is absolutely amazing every single step of the way. Not only did she perfectly capture my vision for my rustic wedding day, she put her own spin on it and went above and beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined or hoped for. She is so incredibly responsive, paid attention to what I want for my wedding, offered advice and made suggestions, she even brought things to my attention that I did not even think of! I googled florists in the Germantown area and came across Jireh's. I decided I wanted to use their services due to their high review caliber. I went to their website and chose a premium "designers choice" flower bouquet I was interested in sending my mother for mother's day. There is a box that asks for the zipcode to check and see if Jireh's delivers to your area. I typed in my mother's zipcode and it popped up - $14.00 for hand delivery. Ok, perfect.... or so I thought. I called Jireh's because I had additional questions regarding the bouquet I was interested in prior to placing my order. I told the woman who answered the phone that I was from out of town and wanted to get a mother's day bouquet delivered to my Mom. She asked where she lived and I told her. Her immediate response was, "yeaaaa.... we don't deliver that far out". I told her that I was on the website and it showed otherwise where it specifically asked for the zipcode to determine delivery eligibility. She was still combative regarding this. I asked her what would have happened if I didn't call with questions and chose to just place my order online. She stated they would have called to let me know it was outside of their delivery area - interesting. I told her they need to remove the false advertising on the website regarding zipcode eligibility. She didn't offer any sort of apology or recommendation for another florist. I am extremely disappointed in my interaction with this florist. Their flowers seem beautiful from the pictures left in the reviews, but their customer service I experienced was absolutely awful. ***Update after business reply to my rating*** - I've attached photos specifically showing where their website stated it delivered to the area. Again, if you have this specific tool on your website, you should not place area codes in your system that you do not deliver to. Anyone in the Montgomery County area knows there aren't "parts" of Poolesville. Poolesville is a tiny little town with ONE zipcode. It isn't Washington DC with several sub-sections. And yes, it is unfortunate that I had a florist from much further out than Germantown cancel my delivery to Poolesville last minute. The difference is I placed the order with that florist over the phone two weeks ago and did not receive a phone call until this morning. As unfortunate as it was, they still were truly apologetic for the fact their new employees (brought in specifically for a busy mother's day) not catching the mistake. Yes, the business was correct in saying that I did not receive any services from them. I mentioned that in my initial review above (even complimenting their arrangements), but unfortunately the product is only a portion of what makes up a business. The other portion (and most important in my opinion) is the customer service received which is the last and biggest reason why I left my review along with a one star. The whole point of my review is the business should not advertise a service on their website that they do not render - period. Furthermore, the customer service (in way of tone, attitude, and way I was spoken to) received was unacceptable even if a product was not rendered. If you read the professionalism of the business reply to my review, it speaks for itself and further proves and provides support regarding my experience.

I absolutely cannot say enough about the flowers that were created for our June 15th wedding - Johanna exceeded expectations. She listened to what we wanted, then gave us all that and more. Simple, elegant, timeless. The love she showed, the tiny touches (check out the tiny bow on the grooms boutonniere) shows you she is truly passionate about her craft. After meeting my mother at the rehearsal, she took noticed my mother is tiny, so made sure that her corsage did not overwhelm her; it was delicate and beautiful, like my mom! She tweaked and added, making everything perfect. All of the flowers were super fresh and lasted well over a week. She touched base, and stayed within our budget. I'm so glad that we live in the area, my husband and I know who to call when we need anything floral (hint, hint hubby)

I WISHED TO GIVE THEM “0” STARS... Few yrs ago, have ordered Bday flowers for my LO and they haven’t delivered that day. They were busy. Ok. A day after they called and asked about directions and I had to say I don’t want them anymore (too late rite) and said I wanted money back. A girl on a phone said she won’t give $ back no matter I take the flowers or not. I said in that case I’ll just review them BUT then she read the message from a bouquet I had written and said if u want to see that person again (my LO) I should not write the review bc she knows where I live and where my Boyfriend lives. Wow! NOT OK! I then said I’ll call the owner and just heard back that she’s the owner sister and hung up. Wow! Wow! So here I am, moved to another continent, far from “her treats” and Just Wanted To Share so y’all know NOT to cancel flowers from this cartel shop or you’ll get some threats ;-)

I meant to do this months ago but I have to say that Johanna is absolutely amazing! My sister was getting married last December and our original options for flowers didn't work out. We were left scrambling a week out, really like 4 days out and Johanna came to the rescue. She listened as we described the venue, the dress and the overall vibe of the wedding and then made suggestions as to the types of flowers that would work best and that we could get on such a short notice. She even took us to the place where she gets her flowers. Talk about giving you back some control when you feel like you've just lost it! Anyway, I can't say enough about how helpful she was to us, the fact that she stayed within budget and that she came and set up all the floral arrangements helping to make the day run so much smoother. If you are looking for a florist who can work magic but will also listen to you and take your needs and wants into consideration, Johanna is your girl. Johanna helped my wife and I with flowers for the wedding and gave us helpful advice several times with the overall design. She is flexible and very easy to work with. She is also creative. She had a great solution that helped us move flowers from the sides of our pews to our reception tables that was quick, didn't require many hands, and was mess-free. She also gave creative ideas that helped us save time and money in our preparation. These weren't ideas for her own gain- nothing was added into the contract by way of her suggestions- they were simply to help. Last but not least, we loved her flowers and arrangements! They are full, diverse and beautiful bouquets that also exactly matched what we wanted, including cake decorations which she did for free. We definitely recommend Jireh's Flowers & Events!
