I'm really sorry to have to score this Florist so low. When I went in to place the order for my mothers service, they were so kind and helpful. They seemed to know what I wanted. I provided them a picture of what I wanted and the dimensions of the urn. The arrangement I desired had three calls lillies and greenery which rose above the urn. It also had a lovely front spray which curved off the table. What I got was a Christmas wreath. Even the flowers included were not the same. It was supposed to be lovely and graceful but it looked like a life preserver. You be the judge. There were two people there that day at the counter. Not only did I show them the photo, one of them worked from my phone to write up the order and the other photographed the picture with her phone. She was the person who was supposed to be making the arrangement. After discussing the situation with the owner we came to an acceptable resolution. She offered great customer service for an unsatisfactory product.

This is my go to florist! I always recommend them when someone says "flowers." Profesional and friendly staff as well as unique and stunning arrangements. I've always loved everything I have received over the years. Definitely worth every penny! My Mom gets flowers from here for my birthday, Mother's day, Valentines and just because. Boyfriend has them on speed dial. My best friend had them do her wedding. They truly made her dreams come true. Looked just like a Pinterest post!!

I recently was faced with the task of picking out a floral tribute for the funeral of my beloved sister. I went into Janda whom I have dealt with in the past. I was greeted by Nancy and told her of my situation. I explained to her that I wanted a coffin spray and two side pieces all done in green and white. I wanted the arrangements to have an artsy flair and not a funeral stereotype feel. We talked budget, different flowers and leaf types and was told the flowers would be fresh and delivered by the Sunday afternoon viewing. Upon entering the room at a distance, the flowers were amazing. The designs and flowers were not only spectacular, they were outstanding. Comments being made by almost everyone were positive. I am more than pleased with Janda Florist -- Bravo!

I don't know where to start... AMAZING service, INCREDIBLE value, CONSISTENTLY exceeds expectations in all areas, PROFESSIONAL, and always-CLASSY, BEAUTIFUL arrangements whether $15 or $100. My family's been using Janda exclusively for flowers for years now, and they've done my wedding, my brother's wedding and rehearsal dinner, various showers, my cousin's wedding, and most recently my husband's best-friend's wedding. Every single time, people ask "Who did your flowers?!" There are florists doing work of this caliber in the Baltimore-Washington area, but they generally come with a double or triple price point and a whole lot of attitude to boot. Janda folks are just the nicest people ever, and they're incredibly talented and passionate about their work. Don't let the tiny size of their unassuming strip-mall shop fool you! I've worked with both Don and Joann and they have exquisite taste. On WeddingWire, I had more than a dozen people comment specifically on my flowers, and three emailed me privately asking for the name of my florist. People said "THAT'S what I want and i've been trying to explain to my florist!!!" The price is excellent, and the quality top-notch. Even 24 hours without water, the bridesmaid bouquets were still looking almost as good as at the wedding, enough so that we ended up trimming the ends and putting them back into a vase at home - and they revived beautifully. The hydrangeas they did for my wedding shower lasted TWO WEEKS after i brought them home (of course with regular trimming of the stems). For my friend's wedding, they did incredible natural, rustic bouquets with petite wax flowers, billy balls, fresh lavender, yellow roses, and greens, plus white anemonies for the bridal bouquet. But they didn't just use boring greens when they built it out - they added fragrant rosemary and green peppercorn sprigs, in addition to other interesting 'rustic' field flowers. All night, people kept asking to smell the bouquets LOL! The bride's bouquet was so beautiful, when we put it into the mercury glass vase on the head table it looked like something you'd see in an oil painting. And the boutonniers... working off of the venue photos, they decided to wrap the boutonniers in a dark brown twine all the way up the stems, to mirror the wrap on the bride's bouquet. People couldn't stop talking about them - and seriously, who ever comments on boutonniers?! They will deliver to the local area for $10, with Baltimore City $15. That's the same price as one of the online companies whose name you know - but you're not going to get anything like what Janda offers from those commercial brands. I can't recommend these guys enough - they are truly a 5-star company, and they deserve your business.

1/5/18 - Truly a disappointment and an embarrassment. The arrangement that arrived looked nothing like the photo from their website and the additional money added to upgrade the flowers was not reflected in the final product. I spoke to someone at the store who ensured me the additional money added would make the arrangement even nicer than the photo. I was embarrassed when I arrived at the funeral home and saw the arrangement that I sent. Unfortunately, you don't get a "do-over" with a funeral arrangement. My friend also used Janda and she was also unhappy with her arrangement because it was not as promised and was much smaller and sparse than originally promised on the phone. I do not recommend Janda Florist.

Extremely disappointed. They forgot the inscribed ribbon on my mother's casket arrangement. The standing easel arrangement was nothing like the one I chose. I also was not impressed with the sales person that waited on me. I wanted to select zero starts, but it wouldn't post unless I selected at least one.

When my daughter was planning her wedding, she wanted something small and simple. Janda Florist was happy to work with her, even though she only needed her bouquet, a boutonniere, a centerpiece for the food table, and a fresh flower wreath for over the fireplace. They listened to everything she requested, and the flowers were perfect. With all the assorted candles she added to the venue, she had a wedding that was just what she wanted. Surprised to see the negative review below. I, too, just ordered a funeral arrangement and it was absolutely beautiful. Several friends asked where I ordered from, as they had never seen such high quality work for a funeral arrangement. Would highly recommend!

I am an ex -florist and I am extremely particular about what I want in my flower arrangements. I was putting on an event and was unable to do the flowers myself so I hired Janda Florist to carry out my very particular vision. I gave Sue and Nula a very hard time because I was extremely demanding and specific. They were gracious, professional and would not quit until I was completely and utterly thrilled with the arrangements. Our guests and the wait staff of the restuarant where we had our event were all wowed by the flowers..they were a huge success! I am so grateful to Janda Florist for their attention, their dedication, their professionalism and their artistry. I highly recommend them!

I walked in and immediately was impressed with the wonderful smell and colors. I was there for a consult for my wedding and was promptly greeted and had a wonderful experience creating my bouquet as we sat and having choices and input. I showed up unprepared but left feeling confident. The staff truly love what they do and were so truly kind. I haven't even gotten my bouquet yet and am leaving a 5 star review. I am so glad that I crossed paths with these lovely women and look forward to working with them even more!

Ordered a big arrangement for my 15th anniversary to be delivered to my wife's work. It got there on time, well packaged, and was absolutely stunning. Everyone in her office was amazed by it!! People took pictures just to show their family, it was so beautiful. Laura worked with me on all the details, and walked me through using her experience and knowledge to craft an awesome design that my wife really loved. In the end what I got was a fantastic value with really great quality flowers... not to mention a super happy wife. ;)

Wow. That’s all I can say about Janda. I’m from Florida visiting my grandmother for her 93rd birthday. I was blown away. The customer service fantastic, the response time excellent, but the bouquet! 4 feet of perfectly placed and priced flowers. My grandmother and all of her friends were blown away. Really glad I called them. Wish I had a florist like these guys back in Florida.

I was looking for a florist in the baltimore area, particularly Cockeysville. I had called a couple before Janda's, but when I called here, the woman that answered the phone was SUPER friendly, and answered ANY questions I had. She offered to deliver my flowers the same day, or the following day, when others said it would take days. I ordered a small single flower, and she gave me one that was way bigger that I had paid for. They were very nice to my sister when they delivered, and her flower was beautiful!

I received one of the most beautiful arrangements for my birthday just after we moved to Maryland. It was perfect! So I knew where to go when I needed something for the hospital. I found just want I was looking for too. I had expected it to be delivered the next day but found out it had been delivered that same day! They also have great gifts. My son is getting married in November so I will definitely go in and see what they can do for me for the rehearsal dinner. Can’t wait to get that off my mind. So i called to this shop to find out if they delivered to a nursing home in cockeysville maryland and the girl acted clueless and said she didn't know where that was and didn't think it was close to them- then i said isn't your shop close to cockeysville md and she confirmed so i had to say well then wouldn't you go to this nursing home in Cockeysville,Md...i had to pull teeth- felt like she didn't even want the order- then the price of fruit baskets start at $65 plus delivery which is a super high price to start at considering there is a Food Lion store right in the same strip mall- they would NOT offer me a lower priced basket then $65 plus delivery- we wanted to send to a nursing home for one older lady who can not eat $65 in fruit. I even said i wanted a small fruit basket- The sales girl just didn't want to be bothered is the impression I got. To bad I called Bob Jones florist and this girl was amazing at Bob Jones. So i spent my $50 at that shop.

I use to use those big online company's for flowers each year for my daughters birthday. I refused to do it this year because I always had some issue and something went wrong. This year I could not find lilies for my Lily. I tried several different florists and they were all out. After looking online for a florist in the area, i called Janda and became a life long customer. Not only did they have my lilies, but they had a bouquet of them ready for me in 2 hours. The customer service was superb!!!! They went beyond to make sure I was satisfied. And the price.... perfect!! I liked them so much I called back 3 days later to order birthday flowers for my other daughter. The service then.... amazing!!!!! Happy customer!

Hands down the best florist out there. I’ve used them for the last 15+ years.. my mom’s funeral, all occasion deliveries and most recently my son’s funeral. Sometimes I just go in to feel joy. The shop is always decked out for every holiday. The staff is welcoming, cheerful, professional and most important “compassionate”. And if you have an out of town delivery they will co-op with an equally special florist. They aim to please without fail. The absolute BEST

It was easy for me to make a selection and the service was swift. I enjoyed the extra touch of having the flowers wrapped up a bow and covering to prevent water spilling on the way home.
