A friend recommended this florist in Sykesville. Wasn't sure what to expect, particularly on a BUSY holiday weekend (Easter). In a pinch, I ordered online after hours and boy did they deliver! Not only in a timely manner, but in a beautiful display. The recipient was thrilled. Thank you!

They are very helpful when it comes to guiding you into flowers that you are needing. However if you are buying flowers for someone out of state you will be shopping in a catalog and they will merely make a phone call to a florist near the delivery point of your flowers and have them do it.

Going by these reviews, I just caught them on a bad day. I ordered an arrangement from their website, to be sent to a funeral. I ordered a lovely arrangement in a dressy pink vase, with all kinds of pink and white flowers. What they sent was an ugly, rectangular vase with a piece of ribbon strewn across it. The flowers were huge, gaudy and did not match, plus they were not even arranged nicely. I could have accepted some substitution, but this was a completely different arrangement. When I called to complain, they suggested I wasn't looking at their website, but yes indeed I was. They don't even know what is on their own website, apparently. I suggest they contact customers when what they want is not available, I suggest they don't offer what they won't deliver, and I suggest their designer take classes to improve their craft. Going by my order and another arrangement at this funeral from their shop, their designer needs more training.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices seemed a little high, but I don't often shop for flowers so maybe they are normal.

Ordered flowers from 1-800-Flowers. Contracted out to this florist as they are local. Appalled at what was ordered as compared to what was delivered. Called florist and spoke to a woman who was clearly argumentative and insisting what I ordered through 1-800 Flowers was what I received. Wasn't even interested in seeing a picture of what was sent. Terrible, grocery store flowers, lack of interest through company. 1-800 refunded 100% of my cost. Would NEVER buy here again. Flowers on left was what was received, flowers on right was what was ordered. Contacted recipient - she indicated THREE roses were in arrangement, Hutchinson said there were 5. I have no idea what that mess is sticking out of the top of my arrangement but it looks like the arrangement fell over in the delivery truck and was put back together by the driver. On to Yelp. And also on local community on line sites. Terrible. Laughable.

Highly recommend Hutchinson's Flowers. We were planning our wedding and a little over a month beforehand, the original florist became non-responsive to emails and had not finalized the flower choices or centerpieces, nor given us a complete estimate. I walked into Hutchinson's late in the afternoon, and they took the time to sit down with me and review what I wanted. Within an hour, we had everything picked out -- bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces -- and I had a quote for the cost. Done! The bouquets were gorgeous, and the centerpieces were much more substantial that I had imagined. I can't thank them enough for their customer service and great work.

Excellent service. My beautiful wife was having a bad day and needed to smile. I called Hutchinson's at 330 in the afternoon and they were able to deliver flowers to my wife that same day. I was on the phone with her when she received them and she was so happy. The arrangement was beautiful and i was 0 help telling them what i wanted. Thank you so much for helping it really means a lot!!!!

My wife and I had an excellent experience here picking out flowers for our wedding. The staff were very helpful and sat down with us several times to go over colours, arrangements, timings and delivery schedules four our big day. Everything turned out beautifully and went off without a hitch! Highly recommended.

Should have read reviews before ordering, but clearly I see not all get the bad experience. Very unprofessional!!!! I called Hutchisons Flowers on 5/29/2018 told the gentleman what I wanted which is the yellow smiley face mug with an arrangement,with a Happy Birthday Balloon and 2 regular balloons that match the arrangement. So instead of them calling me this morning to let me know they don't have the yellow cup I asked for, they assume it is ok to send the another arrangement and choose the colors themselves, ummm hello, that yukky green vase and the puprle flowers do not match in any way, only excuse he had was that I asked they be there by 11 am on 5/30/18, I was told the arrangement they sent is at same value, I don't for one second believe that this arrangement is at the same value. I also went to the website and do not find the vase which he told me is one you can set on front porch, why was that necessary? They come up with a vase and don't call me to possibly change anything myself. The guy had zero to say did not offer to refund any money, nothing, just said I don't know what I can do, he offered to fix this, HOW DO YOU THINK THAT WILL HAPPEN SIR?? Like it's done now. I clearly had yellow all over the one I chose, so how did ya decide that OH I WOULD LIKE PURPLE?? I am furious and hope that others don't experience this, Absolutely unprofessional. I could not calm down from this so I kept reading reviews and then called the store to get a number for corp or the owner to find out Tom (the gentleman that took my order and filled it) is the owner. WOW just WOW sir,

Ordered a beautiful flower arrangement for my wife for Valentines day. I chose the more expensive Deluxe option hoping for a nice full arrangement. Sadly, what was delivered was a sparse arrangement that didn't even measure up to their standard size.
