I am not happy at all with the service I'm receiving. I ordered a plant on Thursday, to be delivered by 1 the same day. As of Friday afternoon my sister hadn't received her plant. I spoke with one of the owners and thought that we had the problem rectified. Plant was supposed to be delivered today, Monday. Well, it never showed up today. When I spoke with the owner on Friday, he said things were crazy because of Mother's Day. Well Mother's Day was yesterday. I called at least 10 times today. No one answers the phone and the voicemail is full. I will pick flowers from a field of poison ivy before I call them again.

Delighted with 'Basket Full of Wishes' bouquet I received for my birthday. Not only did the vivid yellow bouquet look exactly like the website picture (which I looked up just now), but was still PERFECT after one week. My children, who had sent flower from out of town, arrived for visit 11 days later to find the arrangement intact and all flowers in the bouquet. It was beautiful. Now, three weeks later, I have the remaining mums in a bud vase to cheer me. I called to owner to compliment him on the beautiful, fresh and lasting bouquet of flowers. To receive cheery yellow bouquet on a snowy birthday was a treat that kept cheering two plus weeks later. I am so pleased. ( have photos to support).

DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM THIS PLACE! OWNER IS COMPLETELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL IF THERE IS A PROBLEM!. I had flowers delivered to me in which looked like a 5year old picked up a bunch of flowers and stufffed them tightly in a jar - so tight they couldnt breathe and you couldnt budge them to water or snip ends. The white flowers were falling off and dried upon delivery. The leaves of the flowers all had mud all over them. My birthday present was ruined so as much as I hate complaining I had no choice since it looked like an expensive bouquet. Natalie was very helpful, customer oriented and professional about my complaint. She promised a full refund to the purchaser. When he came to get his refund it was not honored. I called in and they argued with me for 2 weeks - promising to return my call day after day while not once returning my call. The exprience reached its worse when I finally got in touch of the owner Eugene- a very prideful owner who swears he has never had a complaint. He proceeded to tell me that his employee would lose her job because of me and tried to make me feel guilty for that. He then stated he sends out over 100 deliveries a day with no complaints. I told him to check his 1 star google and yelp reviews and he said those are just people like you that have nothing better to do with their life than complain to get free stuff. He kept cutting me off on the phone, would not listen at all and had NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. He insulted me time and time again and argued with me for about 40minutes. They broke every promise to call me back. Promised me a full refund with no problems so that I would not embarass sender who was trying to do a good thing for me and it turned into weeks of me calling them and them doging my calls. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! HORRIBLE FLOWER QUALITY ! Arrangement was completely dead in 2 days with a water change. THIS PLACE DESERVES TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS FOR WHAT THEY JUST PUT ME THROUGH. Ruined my birthday vibes and caused much hassle and headache afterwards.

No one answers the phone they advertise. They couldn't find out where to deliver Mothers Day flowers and were still trying a week later at my complex, which has a very nice and very central management office. So you can't reach them to cancel, and you can't even figure out what they are doing. Nice Mothers Day gift, and if they won't cancel the flowers and charge for them, I'll be back to let you know.

I have contacted all the provided phone numbers from online attempting to reach someone about a floral arrangement I purchased this past weekend. I even called the manager Randy no response. No one ever picks up any of those numbers except for once to provide the managers number, completely unprofessional. I should have read the reviews for this company I’m not the only unsatisfied customer. The floral arrangement I purchased was never delivered to the recipient location or person even with me listing the instruction on my purchase. I wanted to surprise my wife with flowers on Valentine’s Day while I was away oconus that opportunity was taken from us due to poor planning and lack of communication from this company.

Do NOT trust them! While the flowers were extremely lovely, the experience was far from it. I ordered flowers to be delivered by no later than 3 p.m. I called at noon to check the ETA and was assured they'd be there right before 3 p.m. That was the first of 15 phone calls that took place (most made by me!) before they were delivered after 5 p.m. The only example of decent customer service was from a young woman who's a trainee: she asked me to confirm when I FINALLY got the flowers. The owner never checked with me (or, it seems, the delivery person) to see if I'd received them. I checked my credit card to see if they'd been proactive in refunding (at least) the delivery charge. Nope! So I called and requested it. The owner grudgingly said he would refund the delivery fee after not really apologizing . But he hasn't refunded anything. Why would I think he would?! This review would be different if, at any point, there was any attempt at service recovery. There never was.

To anyone considering using this florist, please go elsewhere. Save your money, time, and sanity. Placed a flower delivery for a birthday. Randy was asked if the flowers would be delivered by a certain time, he said he could not guarantee, which was understood. We asked if it would be past six and he said no. Well as of right now, 8:19 p.m. we are still waiting for flowers! I order flowers very often and have never had this much of a headache with another florist! Save your money and go with a florist that will actually respond your calls, keep their word, and deliver. Someone is sitting at home waiting for these flowers and missing a birthday party. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FLORIST!!!

I posted an earlier review that unfortunately was premature so now I’ll post an accurate up to date review: After 2 previous phone calls relating to a specific floral and balloon arrangement a beautiful vase of flowers were delivered. My only frustration was centered on attempting several times that day to contact the shop to only repeatedly receive a recorded message saying “mailbox full”. There were also no balloons with the flowers ( this was for my daughter’s birthday) and an added flower I specifically had asked not to include. But I will add after contacting the owner the following week he was apologetic and issued a credit back to my account with no hesitation. Overall I must say the floral arrangement was beautiful and very appreciated.

Two strikes - you're out, Rockville Florist! I ordered flowers from 1-800-FLOWERS and this was the florist who got the order. The first order was a pretty arrangement, but not what I ordered. It was supposed to have large roses with small spray roses as fillers. Large roses, yes, but the florist put some kind of cheap little filler flowers in between. I would have never paid that much for this arrangement. Strike 1. So I called 1-800-FLOWERS to complain. They agreed it was incorrect and had a replacement sent, on the condition that the florist take back the first arrangement. I now wish I had left it alone. Arrangement #2 did have the required roses, and plenty of them. But the arrangement itself was very poor. It looked like they just grabbed a bunch of flowers and threw them in the vase. And some are already starting to turn brown on the edges. (Yes, on the same day they were delivered.) You would think Rockville Florist would have taken pains to win us over at that point and keep our business, but apparently not. In hindsight, the recipient wished that she had just kept the first ones. Strike 2, and we will never use this florist again.

Look at all the fake positive reviews! Go and check the five star reviewers and see their other reviews if you are as in disbelief as I was. 90% of these accounts are fake, going around giving their own business glowing reviews whilst the real customers leave negative feedback regarding their experience. Also note how every unsatisfied customer is left with no response. Despicable!

Flowers were never delivered. I ordered flowers as a surprise for my sister after she got some good news. I ordered the flowers online, and the website clearly stated that I had another 3 hours to place the order so that they would be delivered on the same day. That evening I waited for her call, but it never came. I ended up having to check with her to see if she received anything from me (she hadn't). I called the next morning to verify that the flowers would be delivered that day and was told that they would be. By 5pm I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again and was told that the delivery driver was running late because of a surplus of orders that day (although mine was technically supposed to be delivered the day before). At 10pm my sister texted me that she still hadn't received anything from me, so now the surprise was ruined. This morning, I called to cancel my order. Despite having spoken to the same person twice yesterday, he didn't seem to know who I was. I read on another review that someone else overcame this issue by going and picking up the flowers in person when they weren't delivered by Gene's. I don't live in Maryland, so this wasn't an option, but it also seems like one of the main functions of a florist to be able to deliver an order as promised. It is disappointing that because I chose the wrong florist I wasn't able to do something nice for someone I care about. This was a standard, not a custom order, and I don't understand why it was so difficult to complete.

I have used Rockville Florist for years and they never disappoint me! The flowers are always fresh and the arrangements often last a full week. I just ordered several small decorated boxwood Christmas Trees and they are so festive and beautifully decorated. My recipients were delighted.
