We received 2 flower arrangements from Penny Lane that were half dead upon arrival . Tried to contact florist by phone. No answer and no call back. Embarrassed to set the flowers out at visitation. They also mixed silk flowers with their dead flowers. You can not make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. The bows were crudely wired together in the center. Absolutely the worst mess we have ever seen. Received no answer from email either. Stay clear of this so called florist.

I give this place a ZERO but that is not an option so I must place one star. I ordered flowers for my Grandmother's viewing/funeral and they NEVER SHOWED!! I was so embarrassed!!!

The worst arrangement of flowers I've ever seen! I placed my order thru BloomsToday which I've used several times. Have always been pleased with what was received, until this order. This also was the first time I've ever received flowers thru Penny Lane....and never again!!! First, the arrangement fell over in transit and was delivered with no water, and the flowers "stuffed" in the vase. They look horrible. Also, the arrangement delivered was not what I ordered. There was no card, the message was hand scribbled and my name was misspelled. All that and they arrived a day late! Would have preferred to give 0 stars but 1 is the lowest allowed to post your comments.

No one picked up their phone when attempting to make an order. The website does not provide an option to simply pick-up the flowers (to avoid the ridiculous "wire" fee and deliver fee, which totaled $25). Not exactly customer friendly...

I ordered flowers on a Friday for Saturday delivery for a friend the needing cheering up. The flowers did not come Saturday, I had to wait until Monday to call, Monday came and they did not answer their phone until after noon. They assured they would send them that day. After many phone calls, the flowers came Tuesday half dead. I was so embarrassed! I called AMX to make sure they did not get paid. They are horrible!

Ordered flowers to be delivered before Easter. Flowers were never delivered, driver had changed the address on delivery receipt, thus someone got free flowers, called Penny Lane, they seemwd to be confused, etc., saying computer down, etc. Called back requested a resend of flowers Easter week. Flowers never sent, delivered. ASKED for money back. I will not Use them ever.

I ordered online. Flowers delivered were completely incorrect. Called and they said that they were too busy to talk. Called again and was told they would send out the correct arrangement. They never picked up or resent the correct order. The incorrect arrangement is still sitting at my front door 3 days later. I would give less than 1 star if possible. Do Not Use this Company

I have literally been calling you for 2 weeks to get a refund I was told I would receive 3 weeks ago. I cancelled the flowers immediately. My family member has been to your place twice this week and has waited outside for 2 consecutive hours waiting for anyone to help her and has been treated very rudely by drivers for your company saying “the owner will be back in 30 minutes”, which has never happened. I have called probably a hundred times now and have only reached people twice — one of whom who was extremely rude. Both have taken down my number twice and have ensured I will be called back within a day for my refund. I’m extremely angry and would like a call back and my money back immediately. This is absolutely ridiculous and I’ve been extremely polite and patient. So if you see this, I know my information is with you and as I’ve called 20 times already today, including all those others week and last and this has yet to be resolved.

Terrible. Awful. Horrendous. Ordered flowers for our wedding anniversary. they were delivered three days late and the looked like nothing we ordered. To top it off, the flowers used in the arrangement that they did send were losing petals within hours of delivery. I would look into other options or doing without flowers before buying from them.

I orders flowers for a friend, flowers were late and wrong arrangement. So I called and she said she would fix it and send Monday. I said that is not acceptable she said is tomorrow ok? I said yes and they never came I called multiple times. Just checked the website and they are closed today. Don’t do it!!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Their flower arrangements were pitiful and didn't resemble the photo we chose them from. Also, they arrived much later than we requested (for visitation/funeral). Owner was very absent minded and seemed distracted. I would never recommend this florist to anyone.

Ordering from Flowers by Penny Lane was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. First of all I placed the order online and selected a $80 bouquet for Boss' Day. When the delivery man came it looked NOTHING like the one I had selected!! Nothing! Not the same color family, not the same type of flowers, not the same type or shape vase! Also the flowers were almost dead, wilted and most missing petals! This thing couldn't have looked more pathetic! I was so upset. I mentioned to the Driver that there must be a mistake. He said he "just delivers them, doesn't make them". I asked if he could just check to see if I had received the wrong one. He said to call in. Which I did. They assured me that they would have the driver bring the correct item out and pick up the incorrect one. That was 4 1/2 hours ago. Still nothing! When I called back they said the same thing. I asked If I could expect this today? Very rude reply then they hung up on me. Do not waste your money!

Terrible customer service. Placed the order and called to ask if I could pick up and she said we have no baby roses. I said I would take any flowers and she said we don't have flowers. Rude people, save your $ for another place.

I placed an order with my local florist who wired it to this business. The order was given early for Valentine's Day, with specified dates, so that there would be no mix up. Instead, they delivered immediately, several weeks early. I called my florist who confronted them with the error to which they admitted. My florist called them again before Valentine's Day and reminded them of their obligation to deliver for the specified date. They acknowledged this. The bottom line is that they failed to deliver. This was for a recently widowed family friend for her to know that she was loved on Valentine's Day. My florist is removing them from their database. I have never written a Google review before, but this service was so blatantly poor, others need to be warned.

I would prefer a minus 10 (-10). Went there in person. Chose a floral arrangement and container WITH sales lady. Next day they delivered in a completely different vase, floral arrangement nothing to do with what I ordered. Never again.

CRAZY, DISRESPECTFUL OWNERS. Connie is a terrible example of management & customer service. Never in my LIFE have I encountered such incompetent customer personnel. I regret even spending even a PENNY at Flowers by PENNY lane. They show complete lack of compassion for their customers - who in fact are the ones keeping them open! Low-class owners and an embarrassment to our this town. They say they have 27 years old experience the floral business but thats a LIE. Can't wait for your "shop" to close.

This is the WORST place to receive flowers from! My Mother ordered flowers for me and they delivered the WRONG flowers. The water in the vase looked old and nasty. Some flowers were broken and wilted. It looked nothing like the $58 worth of flowers my Mother ordered for my Mother's Day! I was so upset to see that the flowers at Walmart looked better than my sad looking flowers from Flowers by Penny. I called to complain and the rude lady told me her manager would call back. I told her the flowers were wilted and looked like they were dying and her response, "Well it's hard to get flowers right now." It's MAY! How is that possible?! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE OR HAVE FLOWERS DELIVERED FROM HERE!

I so wish I had read these reviews before ordering corsage for prom from here. Absolutely horrible pitiful little tiny roses not even open with big ugly blue bow. Definitely not what I ordered. Not worth $10 even and I paid $25. Do not waste your money here.

Do not waste your time. My wife provided a photo of the arrangement in which we wanted for my grandmother's funeral. Upon the first viewing I saw an arrangement standing in front of the churches pulpit. However I knew it wasn't what we ordered so I read the card to see who sent it. It was the wrong arrangement and the flowers were withered. The white roses were turning Brown and the pink carnations looked rough. We immediately called and was offered $50 refund from a $200 arrangement. We were on the phone back and forth with THE OWNER. We weren't satisfied so we called again after 5pm to have the arrangement picked up. Of course no answer. We ordered another arrangement from another florist in which they rushed it to the church and was absolutely breath taking. The funeral director took a photo of the arrangement and placed it side by side on his phone of what we asked for and what we got. He sent it to my wife's phone so we could have a record. I called THE OWNER Monday morning and she had the nerve to tell me she delivered what we asked for. No where in the photo we showed her were artificial flowers. I asked for a refund but she stuck to $50 and would not budge and offer anything to satisfy a customer. Now I will post on her the photo of what we asked for and what we got. We were embarrassed to have that arrangement at the head of her casket. Once the new arrangement got there, the funeral director placed Flowers By Penny arrangement at the foot of the casket and slightly behind another standing arrangement. I do plan to pursue a full refund even if i got to go to court because it's based on principle and let Penny tell it she has 30years experience in the business. If you saw that arrangement you would question her longevity in this arena. If this wasn't worth my time I wouldn't have posted and just deal with it. Now trust me $200 for an arrangement was nothing if what we asked for was delivered. We spent over $700 on flowers from the funeral home alone. We trusted the lady and got robbed of $200. I'm highly pissed with this BS work she claims was correct.

I ordered via Teleflora so I did not choose Penny Lane. The delivery address was an elementary school, as the recipient is a teacher there and it was her birthday. Penny Lane called her and left a message stating they were having "trouble with their truck" and asked how long she would be at school. Naturally, the recipient was teaching and could not call back right away. Common sense would lead one to believe that a school teacher would likely be gone by 3pm on a Friday afternoon but the delivery was attempted after and recipient was gone. Even though Penny Lane delivers to all zip codes surrounding recipients home zip code, they do no deliver to hers. So the delivery will now have to wait until Monday. If it even happens. THANKS. Never using Teleflora and certainly not Penny Lane again. I realize Teleflora plays a part in this as well and I have already been in contact with them (useless).

Please DO NOT use this company! We just used Flowers by Penny Lane for flowers for my grandmothers funeral. Our family arrived to her viewing an hour early and the flowers had not yet arrived, even though my mom had gone back to the store to confirm that the store had the right date since the delivery date was written incorrectly on the bill. The funeral home called the store and were told the flowers were almost there. Nearly an hour later two very sad looking arrangements were delivered. Our best guess is that they were thrown together after the funeral home called looking for the flowers. We will never use this store again and were very disappointed in the terrible looking arrangements that were displayed at the funeral.

I sent flowers to a dear friend whose daughter-in-law died suddenly, and I could not attend the funeral as I was out of town. I was very embarrassed when he called to thank me for my thoughtfulness, but told me that the flowers were almost DOA. He called the company to complain on my behalf, and they said they would refund on my credit card, which never happened. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

If you make any type of purchase from this business, you're going to be disappointed (minus for the paid reviews). Fortunately, if you order through their website (lovingly's platform), you can get your money back as the owner doesn't acknowledge the service. If you dispute the charge, the owner won't respond to your financial institutions request (meaning you will get your money back). It's a shame this business is still operating. Do yourself a favor and avoid purchasing anything from them.

Very poor customer service. Substituted daisies for carnations with out even asking. And Connie was very rude and disrespectful when confronted with what she did. Even went as far as cussing us off on the phone, refused to give a refund or replace the very poor arrangement that was sent. I wish we could give a negative star rating because that is what this place deserves. I would not recommend anyone using this florist! We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and filling a formal complaint against this poor excuse for a flower shop!

I have never written a Google review but I feel I must for Penny Lane. Please do yourself and whomever the flowers are for and dont purchase flowers from this establishment. When ordered i referenced an arrangement shown on their website which was full of blue and white flowers including hydrangeas. My specific request was for "fresh" flowers. I was told they just received their shipment and would make sure everything was fresh and bright. Somehow in the florist mind this translated to sunflowers and red roses garnished with oak leaves and juniper. While I will admit that sunflowers are bright, they are not what were requested. When I called she said she told me she had no hydrangea which was not true. She did offer to deliver a new arrangement when they came in the next week. So at least there was some effort made. Less then 18 hours after delivery the sunflowers were dead and the arrangement looked horrible. I called to ask if I could just receive a partial refund and for them to keep the second arrangement. I was told no and she didn’t need to see the pictures taken of the dead flowers and basically told have a good day. I’m not a complainer at all, it takes a lot for me to even write this but please do yourself a favor and go to Giant or your local grocery store for flowers before giving an order to Penny Lane.

This is the worst flower buying experience I have every had. I ordered through their online service and they were never received. I called the next day, (AFTER THE BIRTHDAY) and they were rude, put my on hold for over 10 minutes, and eventually told that they never received my order. Despite the fact that I have the order confirmation. They said they have no record of the names and refused to even listen to my confirmation number. Then when asked if I'd like the flowers delivered that day and I said no, her birthday is over, they said ok. They just repeated that it was not their fault they don't have record of my order. I then told them their online ordering process needed work and they hung up on me. Seriously DO NOT order from here....EVER. Birthday Ruined. Thanks Penny Lane.

I spent 119.00 for flower and 3 balloons and a large bear for V day for a freind she was happy I wasn't because she only got 1 balloon n a stuff bear I could have won from chuckee cheese call them about they don't even make the order them contract them out I would never do business with them or advise anyone else to

HORRENDOUS!!! I ordered flowers for my wife's birthday and they never came. I spoke with a representative - who I later learned was part of an answering service - who flat out lied to me that she would contact the driver to see when the delivery would be made. After 5:30 pm, I called again, spoke with another person who advised that they had no access to my account or information. Then left messages for the real shop and never received a phone call back. Don't ever use this vendor - they will cheat you and lie to you and you can't even talk to someone who works there!

This was an AWFUL experience. Pay attention to the reviews. 1. Online is a bunch of BS 2. Did not deliver saying that the recipient wasn’t home. Since when do you have to be home to go receive flowers? Anyway my mom was home all day and said no one knocked on her door and it was her birthday so she was kind of expecting a knock. Nothing. Also if that’s the case, I left my number as the contact why didn’t someone call to notify me that no one is answering or if they have to reschedule for the next day? They’re trash. 3. They do not answer the phone. When they finally did answer after I reached out to lovingly which is their mother company, they rushed me off the phone told me that they would give me a refund and hung up on me. Unprofessional. Just throw the whole business away. It’s too many damn florist for them to be so bad. Go somewhere else. Pay top dollar at flowers and fraises and get an online delivery with great flowers, great service, and great prices.
