I ordered a same day order for an employees last day. I said the order needs to arrive by 3:00p. They said that it would. It did not. When I called at 3:10 to ask if the flowers were arriving soon they said the the time promised earlier was "just an estimate". The employee didn't get her flowers. Bad business. If you can't deliver by a certain time just say so. Don't say you will just to get a sale. Unfortunately, I didn't read previous reviews.

FOUR bad experiences and I am done. Rude folks, unwilling to work with you, support local students or apologize for blatant mistakes. The first experience was when my daughters approached them for a fundraiser at their high school, hoping to get a discount on carnations. They wanted to charge them $3/carnation. Luckily I told them ahead of time what would be a reasonable price for bulk carnations so they said no, thank you. Frederick Florist was just uninterested in a simple order to help students and they tried to rip them off. Shame... The second experience was when my SiL ordered an arrangement online and what they substituted was just a pitiful assortment of very cheap, past their prime and then some, wilted flowers - nothing at all like what my SiL ordered. The used fillers like daisies and alstroemeria instead of roses my SiL paid for. You decide for yourself whether they are clueless or changing orders to pad their profits. The third experience was in Fall, 2018 when their delivery driver "slipped" off my driveway...I have no idea how you can "slip" and end up with all 4 wheels in my yard and your car hanging from the bumper, suspended on the edge of the driveway! (What really happened is that he was turning around on my lawn.) We had to call a tow truck to get him out, leaving deep, muddy ruts in my yard. We complained and even included pictures of the mess. You'd think they'd at least send flowers, lol...nope. The fourth and final complaint (I guess I'm a slow learner!) was just last week, I stopped in to get a bouquet for my sister and although there were flowers in the refrigerated case and out in buckets, not to mention lots of staff at the counter and in the back, no one could put together a quick, simple bouquet for me. And they were quite rude about it. I do not recommend using this florist either in the community or online ordering.

Hubby asked for shrimp colored roses for our anniversary. What I got was a small vase of orange flowers with no other color, no babies' breath, no filler, no ribbon, nothing. All for the low, low price of $75.00 + an almost $20 delivery fee (for across town). We are so disappointed and disenchanted with this florist. Will never order from them again. What a rip-off. They wanted to "make it right." I said "no." They should have gotten it right the first time!

For Mother's Day I ordered Blossom in Vogue for my mother cause they looked beautiful online but unfortunately I was disappointed when I saw them. Only the yellow roses were blossomed and the rest didn't and dried up in 2 days. I went back to see if they can re make it and they did and were nice about it but I still wasn't haven't cause the same thing happened . I paid $83 for flowers that died within 2 days twice and didn't look nothing like how they did on the website.

Walked in having only had gotten flowers from grocery stores before. I wanted to get something for my girlfriend on a last minute date. I told Theresa my price range and the colors my lady likes and in 10 minutes she had something that was perfect for our date tonight! Really impressed and happy with the service here.

WORST florist ever! My boyfriend had flowers delivered for Valentine's Day. They got delivered FOUR days after Valentine's Day! I was under the impression he never sent me anything for Vday! Would NEVER recommend or use this florist. Beyond disappointing.

No stars but I had to chose one to post this?!?! My husband ordered flowers for my birthday. They never arrived & they told him they would be delivered by 1PM. Several friends have told me the same thing. Do they deliver flowers for weddings & funerals the day after? Ugh!!!

I don't recommend this florist at all due to my last experience. I had ordered flowers for Mothers Day and they never arrived-until 4 days later!! I asked for a refund, or at least a partial refund, but got passed around to so many different departments I just gave up. Which is probably what they are counting on! I know I should have been more vigilant but dealing with this company was so frustrating it wasn't worth it to me!

I was delivered roses yesterday. The worst arrangement I’ve ever seen. These were just thrown in a vase. No arrangement, big gaping holes. Shameful. No I did not tell the person who sent them.

Very disappointing. My Birthday was February the 4th. My significant other paid an excessive amount to have them delivered, and I received them on the 6th of February....THANKS FOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

My hubby ordered flowers online for my birthday and Frederick florist fulfilled that order and they were delivered to my work on Fri, March 23...They are still going strong this week and it's April 15! I took a picture of them because they are only slightly turning brown on edges now. Beautiful arrangement and couldn't believe how long they lasted!

Ordered flowers for a co-worker for next day delivery (not same day). They weren't delivered until after 4:30. Ordered and paid for a Mylar balloon that was not included. Flowers were not what I would expect for what I paid . Arrangement looked like it cost $30-40 rather than $70 (not including the balloon and fees). The only reason I didn't give one star is the person on the phone was very nice when I called to find out why it hadn't been delivered yet.

At one point, the best florist in the area. Not sure what happened, but quality and service is SO bad now. The last arrangement I ordered looked like it was put together by a kid, I could have purchased one for a fraction of the cost and would have looked better from a grocery store. I gave them another try for this Mother’s Day, from the moment I called, the phone service was terrible and they never sent a confirmation or delivered the flowers. BUT, they didn’t hesitate to charge me the $200. The flowers were supposed to be delivered yesterday morning (Saturday) it’s now Sunday afternoon, still no flowers. I’ve tried calling and sending messages to their Facebook, no answer. TERRIBLE experience - go somewhere else. I demand a full refund - Shame on you Frederick Florists!

I just got a dozen roses for a whopping $101.00. And they looked like something from your local grocery store. I am very disappointed. This was the most surprising and unpleasant experience I have every experienced. Please go elsewhere as the prices a highly unreasonable. Beware Valentine's Day! You could be paying about $200 for a very disappointing display of flowers!

I placed an online order for flowers to be delivered to my best friend for her birthday as she lives in the area and I live in a different state. I was so glad to hear that my friend not only loved the flowers, but the delivery lady also called her and even left the bouquet in a shaded, secluded area to ensure quality be preserved. Thank you to the delivery lady and the rest of the staff of this flower shop for a pleasant experience!

I ordered flowers for my Aunts 79th birthday.They arrived around 9:30 in the morning and are Beautiful!Delivered with a smile.They are so fresh.I was so very pleased I had to call them directly and thank them.I was a bit skeptical in ordering flowers due to my past experiences with the quality I recieved.But that wasn't from this florist.I will definitely use Frederick Florist again in the future.Thank You for making my Aunts birthday special.
