Horrible experience. I was originally promised specific flowers for my wedding in May, only to find out 3 months before my wedding that the flowers I requested would not be available- since they wouldn't be in season that time of year. Isn't this something flower people who do weddings routinely are supposed to know in advance? But fine- I chose other flowers. Only to find out when I go to pick up my flowers- the day before my wedding, that the $150 bridal bouquet is wilted. Browning (supposed to be white) wrinkled flowers, wilted dusty miller, and overall an unimpressive bouquet size. And the rose petals for the flower girl- supposed to be an assortment of yellow and white rose petals- were only one color. After telling the staff I was unhappy with these items- the staff member was extremely rude to me and awkwardly, I left with my ugly flowers, almost in tears, a day before what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Avoid!

I called Harmon's & Barton's this morning to order flowers for my mother's birthday and they've already delivered them! Really friendly on the phone. I wish there was another rose or two, but it's a decent bouquet for the price.

What kind of flower place is closed on Valentine's day? I placed an order to have flowers delivered on Valentine's day a month in advance but they're closed. That didn't stop them from taking my money though... what a joke

My mother died and they forgot to send the flowers I had ordered (and paid for) to her funeral and were very unapologetic about it. They gave me a refund, but it didn't compensate for their incompetence. They're very unreliable. I'm surprised they're still in business.

My parents loved their flowers that were delivered on their 52nd wedding anniversary! My mom raved about how gorgeous and fresh the flowers were and commented on how much she loved the vase. The flowers were delivered before noontime, less than 24 hours after I ordered them online. I ordered flowers for my parents 2 years ago, on their 50th wedding anniversary-50 long-stemmed roses! They were stunning and lasted a long time.

Harmon's and Barton's provided floral design for our wedding in October and we couldn't have been more pleased and grateful for all they did. Danielle was so helpful through the process in pulling together the design based on my vision, providing quotes and amending it based on our budget needs, and for preparing everything to make the day of the wedding so easy. The flowers, bouquets and arrangements were so beautiful and I'm still using some of the wheat and lavender arrangements to decorate my home. It was everything I had hoped for and made our venue stunning! Would highly recommend them for any event :)

The on line ordering was straight forward, the delivery was quick, and my lovely wife was very happy with the arrangement.

Design Options

I made four different online orders for four different relatives for Thanksgiving. When they weren't delivered by Wednesday at 3:00, I got nervous and called to make certain they got the orders. I spoke to a young girl and it all started out friendly enough. When she checked on the orders for me, there seemed to be a big mistake with one order duplicated and sent to one person at both her home and also to her place of work. The girl then handed me off to another woman who rudely and immediately assumed that it was my mistake. After a rather tense minute or two, she realized that she was looking at my current orders and an old order. Mystery solved, everything OK. I started to thank her and she hung up on me in mid-sentence. I seethed for a while and then my sister and my cousin both texted me photos of the arrangements. They were gorgeous and I immediately felt better. Then came a third photo from another sister. What I ordered is on the left. What they sent is on the right. I can forgive the color difference, but the value and quality of the sent arrangement does not seem comparable. You judge. I'm taking my very frequent florist business elsewhere.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on Valentines day. Flowers never made it!!! called 10 mins before and was told they would be delivered and were on the way. Call back after that person left work to find out they never sent them out. This is absurd!!! was then told if i wanted to have them delivered at a specific time I had to pay extra which would have been fine if that was discussed first. Never was told this. Then offered to have them delivered the next day which defeats the purpose. So I cancel the order to have the person on the line just simply apologize and not offer anything to keep me as a customer after the fact. I will never do business with this company again. Its a shame that a local company cant do right by the customer when the big box stores will step right up. Hooray for local business and they wonder why......Thanks for making local businesses suffer from your lack of customer service. Be warned consumers. Be warned.

South Portland Church of the Nazarene

Working at a church I see quite a few flower arrangements and dish gardens. I have to say, this dish garden was top notch. The greens were beautifully placed: full and healthy and the dish was beautiful. It was perfect for the occasion. Thank you Harmon's!

I always get my flowers for my wife from here. If you just want flowers go to the supermarket. If you are buying flowers for the one you love come here. Yes, you will pay more than the grocery store, but the increase in quality far exceeds the cost.

This flower shop is one of the best in town. The arrangements are purr fect. The flowers are purr fect, the shop is near purr fection, a group of people that keep a store looking the way they do can arrange my stems anytime, I would recommend no other, but how would that be fair

We hired Harmon's to create bouquets, arbor piece, center pieces, etc for our 10/27/18 wedding and the flowers they delivered were absolutely amazing! They far exceeded our expectations. They delivered and set everything up in a timely manner despite terrible weather conditions on the day of our wedding. They were easy to communicate with via phone and email leading up to the wedding and Ashley was super accommodating and understanding of our last minute changes to our centerpieces. She sent example pictures back and forth, which really helped us get an idea of what we could expect and helped us to decide what we wanted for our big day. I would absolutely recommend Harmon's and we will definitely be using their services again in the future!
