I live in New Hampshire and was just casting about for a flower shop in Portland to send a thank-you to someone. I searched online and was very happy to find this small, locally owned shop. The owner, Gail, talked with me on the phone, helped me with my order and put it together and sent it on the day I wanted. She knew exactly where it was going, too, a plus. The arrangement, going to a very deserving person, is beautiful and appropriate. Thank you, Gail.

It was such a pleasure working with Gail. When I started to explain my "floral vision", she already knew exactly what I was looking for. She was always happy to meet with me whenever I needed to go over any changes & there were a lot! I could not be any happier with the finished product. The bouquets, archway & centerpieces were GORGEOUS!!

I've known Gail Diamon for several years now and firmly believe Dodge the Florist to be the best in Southern Maine. They have been in business since the 1800's so they must be doing something right? I have been impressed with every flower purchase I've made at Dodge. Their flowers do last longer than grocery store flowers... without a doubt. Also, Gail is more than happy to do any custom arrangements you may need and her creativity is amazing. I will buy my flowers from no one else!

Dodge THIS florist would be a more appropriate name. Flowers were a disaster! Some looked lethargic, the arrangement was disheveled.the ONE thing they did right was deliver them early morning (although, in retrospect I assume that's because the arrangement was put together thoughtlessly and took 3 minutes to assemble) Just overall....NOT a good experience. Never again.

I love Dodge the Florist. I have been ordering flowers from them for years. Their quality is always excellent as is their customer service. I especially love ordering from their website. They have beautiful photos of the arrangements with detailed descriptions of the flowers included and options for different budgets. I have always found the actual arrangements to be as, or more beautiful than represented. They deliver on time and have come through on short notice when needed. Thank you Dodge the Florist!

Customer service with delivery ,not so great. Was told delivery would be in the morning when purchased.I received a confirmation shortly after which was false. After I called to say I didn't receive my delivery.I was told they would be delivered the next morning, waited till noon to re called the florest. Apparently driver just left flowers in the lobby of the building without ringing the doorbell or notifying me. Will not be doing business here again. Since this was day 2 if the waiting game

I ordered an arrangement directly from their website for Valentine's Day for my wife. The arrangement was called Dance with me. The "Basic," was priced at $54.95, the "Deluxe" was $64.95, and the "Premium," was $74.95. I upgraded the arrangement to the Premium package, based on the picture they have listed on their website. It arrived yesterday at my wife's place of work and I was incredibly disappointed. What arrived barely resembled anything even close to what was shown on the website. I called this morning and was informed that the picture was a photo from teleflora(?) and that the picture shown is with all the flowers facing forward. I was asked how many roses were in my arrangement, I told them (4), they apologized and said there were supposed to be 6, and that they'd credit my account for the 2 roses. Even with 2 roses in the arrangement, this thing would have looked nothing like what was shown on their website. Definitely not worth $75.00.

Tried to support local business. Flowers not delivered. Driver says they attempted to deliver and call, neither of which happened. Requested that they deliver arrangement prior to closing, but they chose to refund my $$$ instead. Good luck with that business model.

Dodge the Florist is the best in Portland! I live in Tennessee but my family are mostly in Maine, and I'm always waiting till the last minute to acknowledge holidays, birthdays, etc.--I can call Dodge (a live person ALWAYS answers), give them nothing but a dollar amount, a credit card number and a rough idea of what I'm thinking about, and the next thing I know, my family member is e-mailing me huge thanks, along with a photo of the gorgeous arrangement that got delivered the very next day--sometimes the very SAME day. Dodge's prices are incredibly reasonable, their flowers and greens last for weeks, their owners are amazingly generous to the community, their staff are unfailingly cheerful, and their designers are both talented and intuitive. On top of all that, they make people happy every single day.
