EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had a minor issue with my online order, so I called Spedale's for help. The owner, Mr Thomas Spedale, answered the phone & helped me immediately. He took the time to trouble shoot, take my order & explain that he is testing a new software system that adds a big layer of security when it comes to credit cards. The arrangement that I ordered was delivered the very next day, they even asked the recipient if she wanted her flowers delivered to her office instead & they accommodated. The arrangement was beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend Mr Spedale & his shop!

WOW, I am so impressed with Spedale's! I live in Houston and I needed an arrangement for a funeral in Lafayette that 12 people were getting together to send. I wanted to use a local florist instead of ordering online. I called and Diana answered the phone - my lucky day. I explained what I wanted and how much money I had to spend. She described a "combo" arrangement that they could create for us that would incorporate everything I was envisioning and exactly what it would cost, which was just under our budget. After the services, my friend took pictures of the arrangement and oh-my-goodness...it was over-the-top beautiful and even more than we had imagined. Kudos Spedale's and Diana. We could not be happier with our purchase. I have lots of family and friends in the Lafayette area and I will recommend Spedale's Florist to all of them. I work in Baton Rouge and I am not familiar with businesses in the Lafayette area. I had a client closing on her new home in Lafayette last Friday and I wanted to send flowers since I could not make it to the closing. I called Spedale's and explained my situation - this was close to 2pm and I needed the flowers delivered by 5pm! The lady on the phone was SO incredibly nice. I told her what I was looking to spend and I just asked her to "make me something pretty"...well they were delivered with more than enough time to spare, and they were GORGEOUS! My customer called me and told me that they were beautiful so I made her send me a picture! Always buy flowers locally from Spedales's Florist!!! Last year i ordered through an online company and my flowers Never arrived and I looked like I forgot!!! Spedales's has excellent customer service!!! I actually went into the shop and they were so helpful and kind. Later I called to tweak a few things and it was no problem at all. They were very careful with details to make sure the delivery went smoothly and everything turned out perfectly. Price difference from online order and buying from Spedale's was less than 10 dollars despite all the promises of 60% off!!! Trust me buy local, peace of mind and the person you are sending flowers to, is worth the difference!!! Thanks Spedale's you made me look great!!

I placed an order online after closing and followed it with an email the next morning about delivery instructions I had forgotten to give. I received a prompt reply and then was delighted to see that I also got an email confirming the order, then another when it was out for delivery and then another when it was delivered. One expects that these days with food and amazon like deliveries, but I didn't expect it with flowers. The recipient sent me a photo and it was a beautiful arrangement. I always give florists the flexibility to create something similar to what they show on the website, since nature never produces the same flower twice, and it was lovely. Thanks to Tom and his team!

Spedale’s did an incredible job fulfilling my request and understanding my description for an unusual floral arrangement and potted plant. I placed my order by phone from South Carolina, with no prior knowledge of Spedale’s or any other florist in Lafayette, based only on their website and positive reviews. I received excellent service from the staff answering the phone and taking my order, the designer of the arrangement and the person who delivered the order. Everything was done exactly as promised and I received several emails keeping me informed of my order and delivery. I can’t recommend Spedale’s highly enough!

The ONLY florist that I have ever worked with that responds in such a timely, professional manner! The recipient wasn't home and they let us know RIGHT AWAY and then kept us 'in the loop' as to the process and re-delivery. They were beautiful and better than ordered. Having worked in the floral industry, I know both value and quality. I researched florists in Lafayette before settling on Spedale's Florist and I was NOT disappointed. Our funeral spray was chosen by a photo I liked, and it was the prettiest/fullest/ and best constructed of any of the sprays there. The arrangement was almost exactly like the picture selected with substitutions I ok'd. It was beautifully three-dimensional (not flat as a lot of designers seem to create), full, and the flowers fresh and perky. I cannot say how important these little details are when ordering for a loved one who has passed. I would HIGHLY recommend this florist for your floral needs--believe me, I am PICKY. Also worth mentioning, the receptionist who took my order (Sandy?) was attentive, kind, and easy to work with. I received an email pic of the arrangement after it was created, and notices when it was out for delivery and when delivered. Top notch in my book. Excellent experience all the way around. I spoke with someone at the flower shop the day before I wanted them to be delivered. I wanted to send a thoughtful gift of flowers to my wife who wasn't able to come on a vacation with me. I was in Mexico at the time of my call and didn't have a lot of time to talk. She quickly took my information as quickly as I could give it, then asked what arrangement I wanted. I wasn't sure and so requested to have them determine the arrangement that would speak and say, "I miss you, love you and will see you soon." IMO, they did an AMAZING job. The arrangement is beautiful; they were very kind and accommodating, it was delivered on time and better yet my wife is happy :). All for a total of $65 delivered. I highly recommend them.

With the approaching Hurricane Barry and my aunts 84th birthday on Saturday, my cousin recommended this florist. I placed my order late Thursday night and it was delivered by 11 am the next day! I was expecting a delay due to the hurricane but they made sure it arrived and I hear the flowers were beautiful! I highly recommend this florist!

Spedale’s is my first choice for flower arrangements. They never disappoint, the prices are the cheapest around for amazing quality. They go out of their way for customers. I’ve ordered an arrangement before and was absolutely shocked and very pleased that they had the arrangement ready and delivered within an hour, not counting that the arrangement was stunning and the flowers lasted forever. I would rate them 10 stars if I could.

The pitiful bouquet you delivered to my daughter was an embarrassment. This is the first and last time I use your services. I, as a florist, actually could not believe you had the nerve to deliver this knowing it cost nearly a hundred bucks!!! I could have picked the bouquet you delivered up at Super1 for 15 bucks!!! There was hardly any blue in it!!!! It was all yellow and white!!! I paid for the most expensive bouquet because this was my first grandchild. My God what in the world does the cheap bouquet look like??? The flowers that were there which was all yellow and white filler flowers were all drooping!!! I had to go out and get flowers and make my own bouquet before my daughter got to her room. So disappointed that I wasted my money!!! You live and learn!!! Shame on you!!! Beware if you are having something delivered and will never see it. Chances are they will skimp and of course the receiver will never say a word. It was shameful the bouquet delivered!!!

Impeccable customer service! I ordered from Sydney, Australia and i first sent the home address but found out the person I was giving it too was in hospital. I didn’t have the hospital room number of the receiver. They went out of their effort to contact the hospital to deliver the gift. Such a touching and personal experience! With the Timezone difference giving a barrier to any communication they took it into their hands and she is thrilled by the gift. I was also super excited about the get well flower pot being so cheerful and colourful! It was perfect and I have never seen something like this where I live. Wonderful experience working with Sandy at Spedale’s... she created the most beautiful silk bridal bouquet for my daughter’s upcoming wedding...very unique design of mix with unbelievably realistic silk magnolias, roses, calla lilies mixed with fresh white cassia and my Mother’s 1927 pearl prayer book and 1880 great great grandmother’s lace handkerchief. Fresh orchids will be placed in the bouquet on the day of the wedding. Throughout our process, starting with our ideas and meetings, Sandy showed extreme professionalism with her use of the best silk products and her care of our two family heirlooms ! ... will post our bouquet pic after the wedding for all to see ...the bride-to-be is SO happy with her bouquet !!
