I recently found that going through online floral companies, that source from local florists; are not good for local businesses. The customer service from these online companies is not what I would expect and they are not an ideal business partner for the local business. I want to shop local and support local businesses as much as I can. Today is my mom's birthday so I decided to order directly from Nanz and Kraft, despite the fact that I get a discount from other national stored from my employer. I looked on their website and I wanted to find something even more personal; so I decided to call. I was able to describe my order over the phone and the lady that I spoke with was extremely friendly and knew just what I was looking for. I would recommend buying from Nanz and Kraft either by phone or online because of their selection and to buy local.

Update 8/17/2017: Ordered a beautiful wind chime for my cousin's funeral service. The price was reasonable and it was delivered early on the day of the visitation. N&K took the time to make sure my delivery got the recipient on her birthday and in good condition. It was too cold to leave them outside so they tracked me down to arrange alternative delivery. Nanz & Kraft Florists is a beautiful shop with great atmosphere and decor. I recently ordered a floral wreath both the wreath and customer service were fantastic! The wreath was needed for a next-day, high-profile ceremony, and the Nanz & Kraft Florists team was incredibly gracious in meeting our timeframe. They have wonderful and beautiful selection of flowers, greenery, & decor options for everyone. Their showroom has lots of space on two floors. I've loved visiting since I was a kid because you get to watch the staff assemble boutiques, behind the counter. I'd love to give a 5-star rating, but my last visit was for a corsage for my 5 year old and it was $17+. I had some major sticker shock from the total at the register.

Wow is an understatement! More then just a florist! They have incredible pieces put together for you or have individual pieces you can go crazy with from fresh to imitation. Huge slection of candles, wreaths, decor, indoor and outdoor plants. I absolutely loved an enjoyed my visit! Nanz & Kraft just provided the flowers for my wedding and they were PHENOMENAL!!! Pat is one of my absolute favorite people to work with. She is so sweet and funny and she is truly an artist - everything she touches is stunning!!! I asked for something weird and funky and different and she did not hesitate to give me exactly what I wanted. From the very beginning stages of correspondence, she was always on board with what I wanted and she would finish my sentences with exactly what I wanted- I swear she’s a mind reader!! So I knew they were going to be beautiful, but I was not prepared for what I saw on my wedding day! I cried actual tears when I saw how beautiful everything was!!! I heard that she even shipped some of the flowers in from Africa!!! It was the most stunning bouquet I have ever laid eyes on. The delivery and set up were flawless, and Pat went above and beyond with so many small details- like putting extra flowers and vases in the bathrooms, handling all of our own personal vases, and even making me a new bouquet since I accidentally left mine at the venue and wanted to keep it forever. Seriously could not ask for anything more beautiful or a better person to work with. Do yourself a favor and book Nanz & Kraft for your wedding or any other event! They’re the best!!!

Jim from Nanz & Kraft Florists really made my day today. I was surprised with some sympathy flowers after the passing of a loved one, and he took the time to call me and leave a voicemail to ensure that the flowers were received (he said he would even wait 10 minutes for me to call him back). He called back again and once I answered, he wanted to know how to get the flowers directly to me. I told him I would come down and get them and he asked “are you sure?”. It’s truly acts of kindness like this that really show how someone can do something so simple to make another individual feel better. Jim was very sweet and said he realized they were sympathy flowers and that he was sorry. I have done business with Nanz and Kraft for decades. I have used others, but none do the job Nanz and Kraft consistantly does. The flowers are always fresh and beautiful. That is why I keep coming back. Others have not the design experience and their flowers don't last as long. I ordered a bouquet to be delivered today late in the morning and it arrived for the person in just a little over 3 hours later. The service is great and they are always so helpful when you don't know just what to send. It is my go to place. You won't be disappointed.

Let me down on valentine's Day. Accepted my order, told me it was processed, and then called at a later time to tell me they couldn't fill it and it was too late in the day to deliver them on time. Thusly my wife didn't get flowers delivered on Valentine's day. Had to call several times to even get through, kept getting hung up on. Will not use again.

Horrible! Ordered a sympathy plant at their store. Nanz and Kraft delivered wilted flowers in a cheap little basket to the funeral home. To make it worse, the manager at Nanz and Kraft had personally taken our order and assured us the plant would be beautiful. Terrible experience with this locally owned florist. And their manager offered no explanation as to why it had happened except to say ... what was delivered was nothing like we ordered.

I have ordered several times from Nanz and Kraft Florists recently and in the distant past. The one time that I ordered flowers for a funeral and it was to be delivered on Valentines day. They did not charge me extra for the delivery. I placed the order on the phone and they were extremely busy. The lady that helped me was new. I have learned to be patient with others if I expect people to be patient with me. She did a wonderful job, she checked, double checked on everything concerning the order. I had ordered two things. Flowers with special instructions (bought a Crystal Cross and a throw with a stand) They sent me a thank you note for my patience and gave me a discount card also. Within a month we had a dear friend that had passed. This time I ordered online. I ordered the basket of flowers with the Musical Angel. The song that was in the Musical Angel was Amazing Grace and that was going to be the opening song for the Service. I was perfectly pleased with purchase ( and so were the receivers) and the great service both by phone and online orders.

The most memorable experience I had was this, my mother-in-law had died and we left Louisville to go to Williamsburg, Kentucky. It was hectic and emotional and I forgot to order flowers. I called Louisville to reach Nanz and Kraft to order flowers and explained my dilemma. They told me they would do the best they could to get the flowers to the funeral home the next day. The flowers came from a local florist and they were fine, but these people were so nice and kind and understanding in a time, that was so difficult for our family.

Nanz and Kraft and our hero a lady named Pat are wonderful. I forgot to order my mother's funeral service flowers believe it or not. We showed up befor 8 a.m. at the door and knocked. Pat said, "I will help you." We were treated like family members. The gorgeous huge arrangements were at the church before we were. I will never forget this and thank Pat and Nanz and Kraft profusely.

I'm a young guy that has never sent anyone flowers today, so when I walked into the store, I was absolutely clueless. Jesse was incredibly helpful with everything from picking the boquet, to which style of vase would sit well on a desk as to not take up too much space. He even helped me with the message. Needless to say, I walked out totally confident that I've sent the perfect arrangement. The flowers won't arrive until a couple days from now but I'm positive she'll love them. Knowing the quality of Nanz & Kraft I went to their site and found a perfect tribute, a sweet garden memorial plaque. And they emailed me to let me know it was delivered. My friend sent me a message later in the day to tell me how special the plaque is and that she will always cherish it. As a native Louisvillian I know how trustworthy this florist is and they came through again. Highly recommend.

I do think it is important that you should update your website. Your website says that 24 hour notice needs to be given for dessert orders (which I did). I am bitterly dissappointed that I have ordered though your company because my daughter is not getting what I wanted for her because your website information is incorrect.
