Okay this place is magical, there really is no other way to describe it. Don't expect to come in here and think the plants are going to be the same as whats in a home hardware store. These plants are of good quality and are taken care of properly, and the love and knowledge that the staff has of these plants shows. This is a great staple in our community!

Mahonia is a beautiful and inspiring space! Sarah helped me put together a unique arrangement and container at the flower bar where you can choose fresh blooms and greens at whatever price you desire. The owner Bridget has a true eye for design and it shows in their curated collection of plants, gifts and flowers. The new event space is perfect for hosting bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, etc!

I love this place. Great variety of plants and the people that work there are incredibly helpful and pleasant. They also have a beautiful selection of flowers - pick a couple and they will help you arrange them in a vase. Classy products and a great place to find a gift!

AMAZING! They have the best stuff and were so helpful. I'm from Ohio and had been looking for a large cactus for some time. They were able to send me pics of ones they had before I drove down, and then they helped me wrap it well/get it into my car safely. Wish I could buy the whole store!

I was very disappointed with my bouquet. I had given a down payment for my bouquet in February. We sat down and I told them I didn’t care about the design as long as it would have sunflowers. Nobody contacted me weeks prior and I decided to trust them. The day of I go to pick up my bouquet and this is what I got. The owner came out, said that it was a misunderstanding and that she would redo the bouquet in 5 to 10 minutes. I couldn’t stay since my wedding was in a few hours and I needed to get ready. I got a couple of sunflower stems, but this did not go with the theme and colors of my wedding.

Early today I went to Mahonia to purchase a single rose for my mother who I lost in November. I stated to get a little teary eyed while checking out. This was the first Mothers day with out my mother so this purchase was a little hard knowing she would not receive them. The lady at the counter seen my tears and asked if I was ok. Without any explanation or hesitation she said this is on me. This warmed my heart. Thanks for providing great customer service and for showing empathy and compassion for others.

Beautiful store, amazing plants, lovely employees. I bought a Secret Santa Christmas present here, and they were so helpful -- checking in about my budget and my recipient's plant habits. It was a wonderful experience and she loved her gift :) Be prepared to spend a lot, though!

This is my favorite store to visit when traveling in Kentucky. Such a fun selection of plants, pots, terrariums, etc. The staff is knowledgeable and the prices are so reasonable! I always leave with something!

I have been a Mahonia customer since Day 1 and was excited to see the new space today. Unfortunately, staff was extremely dismissive and even walked away (when I was mid-sentence) to help another customer. I did buy what I specifically came in to purchase but I’m not sure I’ll be back. Please remind your staff to treat all their customers with kindness! We’re not all floral experts and may have questions!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I love coming into this store. They have a huge selection of exotic plants and plenty of plant accessories/pots. The store just moved to a new bigger location so if you haven't been in awhile you should stop by and see all the new stuff the have. The have a new terrarium building station which is awesome. The staff is very helpful and enthusiastic about their jobs! (Pictures are of some of the air plants I've bought there)

Such a unique and wonderful place. You will feel instantly inspired upon walking in and taking in all of the beautiful plants, trees, and flowers. I bought several trees for my barber shop and it has added a great earthy element and a pop of color. The staff are wonderful, educated, and helpful.
