That would have earned the fifth star. Otherwise, the customer service was friendly and efficient, the delivery was on time, and the flowers were lovely.

Always use Steve's Flowers, from sending local or out of state. Always have been top of the line. Until last order, very disappointed. What was sent was nothing like ordered. They did offer to pick up and replace, Told them person going to, would not be home, could I get a store credit, only offered me a $7.00 store credit, About half the delivery fee, Implied it was my fault, because I didnt order a more expensive arrangement. They are going to replace, hopefully they will get there before they leave.

The wind chimes we ordered for a friend's funeral were awesome but I think it is a waste to have to pay for the stand. The florist should not encourage that and it's just to make more money. Funeral homes have stands for those kinds of things and it wasn't necessary.

I had the best experience with Steve's Flowers! They were so friendly and helpful from hello. I had not purchased from them before as I am not from Indianapolis. Saw their ad on the web. I ordered 3 separate pieces and they sent pictures of them on my e-mail. They were perfect. 2 were delivered with no problems. The third however was to go to my niece at Riley hospital. I confirmed she was still a patient before ordering. Steve's also confirmed that she was there. Well, she was discharged before the flowers arrived. I was gone all say and never checked my phone. It was Saturday when I found out and I called Steve's. My niece did not live close and was not in their delivery area. Steve's contacted a local florist and my niece received a beautiful floral piece. Steve's went above and beyond and I am very grateful. I will shop at Steve's for any floral need in the Indianapolis area from now on. They are just Super, Awesome, Great!!!!

I stopped in the Thompson Rd. location for the first time today to have a flower arrangement made. I described in what should have been sufficient detail what I wanted and they assured me they could do it. I was told it would take about an hour, so I left and returned about 2 hours later to pick it up. I waited at the counter for about 10 minutes while no employee presented to conduct business. In that time, however, another customer entered the store and we chatted a bit about flowers and Steve's. She explained that she had been coming there for about 4-5 years and that the quality & the effort offered by Steve's had steadily declined over the years but she still returned because she lives just around the corner. About that time is when a female employee (not the one who took the order) finally came to the counter and asked why we were there. I told her that I was there to pick up my order and she ruffled through paperwork and then proclaimed "oh....." and left to a back area. It was then an older man who also appeared to work there happened by and asked if someone was waiting on me. I told him I wasn't sure. He kept going on his way as though it were a common occurrence. The female employee then returned with a small vase with a few tulips and some cheap greens that had obviously been shoved in the vase in a hurry. The tulips literally hung over the vase and touched the counter top. No arrangement whatsoever. I told her it looked cheap and amateurish and that I wasn't interested in paying for it. She took a posture that suggested it's a frequent response from customers and said "maybe we can have it reworked...can you wait 10-15 minutes?" Foolishly, I agreed. What came out perhaps looked a little better but still didn't match the description I had give the employee I spoke with originally. Lifeless, colorless, dull. It was , frankly, something from a retailer trying to live on a past reputation than a current desire to compete in the marketplace with quality products & service. It was shameful. There are florists on all sides of Indy who work very hard for your business. I suggest you give one of them your order and that you avoid Steve's. Weeding out poor performers is how the marketplace is designed to work. As for all of the 5-star reviews they have? Businesses can easily create them themselves and often do....especially when they can't earn them legitimately via their business conduct. Unlike those, this is a legitimate review from an actual customer.

This is a great delivery option and flower shop!! I usually go through Steve’s as they will go out of their way to get your delivery where it needs to be. I had a last minute change of address and they still made it work for me as the delivery had already left out for the day. Delivered early and across town!! Will continue to use Steve’s for my flower occasions!!

Steve's made the same spray that I was going to have Plainfield make for the same price and did a very nice job. After the order was placed, the day before they were to be taken to the church I was called by Steve's to let me know that my family decided to have the flowers not at the church, but after, where everyone would meet to toast my cousin. After the spray was made I was sent a picture, and also an e-mail letting me know it was delivered. They did a great job and I sure would use them again. Thanks Steve's.

Hands down the BEST service I've ever had from a florist. Period. I ordered online - which often means the order goes into a black hole and you never hear again. Or if you do it's a generic confirmation of delivery. From Steves', however, I received an email confirming the details of the order, followed up with several pictures of the actual arrangement being delivered - and later, confirmation that the order had been delivered. (BTW the recipient sent me a thank you note saying how beautiful the flowers were) I couldn't have been more pleased. I just wish Steve's was in every place I send flowers. You Indianapolis folks sure have a winner there!

Amazing service. I live in Vermont and was able to set up a delivery for my daughter for her birthday with ease. Lady on the phone was very friendly and the delivery was speedy! I loved getting a picture via email of the arrangement as well. Most of all the arrangement was beautiful and brought such joy to my daughter. I got the garden roses! She said there were so many flowers it was full and the colors beautiful and she said they smelled amazing! Very affordable as well.

I actually ordered from online using Teleflora for Mother's Day. They did a great job hand picking items for me! Package was received on time, my mom sent me pictures it turned out very nice flowers looked healthy, I choose to add a balloon (which also very nice),chocolate (which I couldn't tell what it was by pic. but looked ok), and a stuffed animal( acute little bear. I gave it a 4 out 5 because not sure if quality and quantity matched price. Which may be teleflora not direct florist. I attached picture :)
