Ordered flowers for an out of town funeral. Two days after the funeral service, spoke with Oberer's who informed me they were unable to process the order because the out of town florist they contacted refused to process the order for the agreed upon amount. Flowers were never delivered to the funeral service. Very disappointed.

I ordered flowers from the Louisville location to be delivered to family visiting in the area at the time. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with the order and I was left unsatisfied. I put the details in my review at that location. The store manager Barb, called to apologize for the mistakes. She was very lovely. The fact is, this is business and no one's perfect, but Barb went above and beyond to make things right. That seems to be a dying quality in customer service these days. I really, really appreciated it. I had no idea there was an Indianapolis location, but she was able to deliver a fresh bouquet of flowers and it was amazing. Their flowers are beautiful, the ordering is easy and Oberer's will be my go-to for flowers in the Indianapolis and Louisville areas! I highly recommend them.

Me and my wife live on the south side of town, but her office is located in this area. That being said, I just googled a flower shop one day and called this place, and I have used them quite a few times since. They always have been able to deliver same day for me, my wife has always enjoyed their arrangements, and I think they are priced very good. Also, when I call, I just give them my name and they look me up and know everything else they need to know. I just give them a price range and tell them the occasion and let them handle it, and they have yet to disappoint. I would highly recommend.

The good: The floral bouquet was loved by my wife. The process of ordering the flowers was very easy. The call center was very helpful in finding the address for where the flowers needed to be sent. The Bad: The flowers did not last very long. Less than a week. I purchased a bouquet from my local grocery a week before ordering these. They still lasted a few days longer than the bouquet from Oberer's for a fraction of the price.

I used Oberer's after a recommendation from the venue for my wedding reception. The flowers were beautiful, fresh, and reasonable in price. We had amazing customer service. Family and friends were extremely surprised when they found out we had done our own arrangements, bouquets, and all the flower accents. I began ordering flowers for my mom from Oberer's. Every single arrangement has been absolutely beautiful, delivered on time, and beyond my expectations. I ordered one of the specials, but received a call shortly after saying they were not able to create the arrangement. I was offered an upgrade to a much larger, much more elaborate arrangement, free of charge, and delivered on time without any hassle. It was an important date for my mother, so I was elated they were able to provide such service. I always send flowers to friends and family members, and I have stopped using all other companies and providers outside of Oberer's (for everyone in the areas of the stores). The only complaint I have is that no other out-of-town company can produce the type of arrangement I have had from Oberer's. Excellent product, pricing, and customer service!

Spectacular arrangement. For $75 I placed an online order for a funeral arrangement. $75 is on the low end of pricing for a decent funeral arrangement. But this was OUTstanding! Serious never been happier or prouder of the flowers Ive sent. Exactly as pictured full beautiful and large. FRESH style, perfect placement eye catching. No one asked me to write a review and I usually don't bother but these days florists are often skimpy. Not Oberer's.

My best friend passed the Indiana Bar and I wanted to send something bright and cheery for her desk, didn't give a lot of direction. They have an awesome delivery area the entire Indianapolis area and always give you more than what you pay for, honestly. Will only use them for deliveries in Indy. Well worth it!

Stopped in on Valentine's Day on way to work (to order some flowers, to pick up after work). I'm a regular, so I know they always have a decent selection. They were obviously swamped, but I was taken aback when they told me "we're not taking orders today." I clarified that I didn't need anything now, just in 9 hours time (again, to pick up on way home). Also, did not need red roses, just something nice. Again, "we're not taking any orders today." Cracked me up; literally couldn't give them my money.

I called them and nicely explained the error. I ordered the Blooming Basket to cheer a relative in the hospital undergoing surgery for cancer. I thought, what a lovely cheerful arrangement. However, when the basket entered the room, I was shocked to see 3 pots of very drab, sad looking, flowers- dark purple and white- no greenery, no bow, cheap basket, no pops of vibrant colors as displayed on the website. I finally got a response to my complaint and another basket was sent- better but not anywhere near the beautiful arrangement advertised. To the store's credit, the manager offered a full refund, but I said to split the difference in fairness- I did get at least a full basket of flowers albeit not summer flowers suitable for encouraging recovery for an ill person. This is surprising given that the work I have seen from this florist has always been great. I have no idea what happened but hope they realize that summer flowers are bright and vivid, and white is suitable for brides, not surgical patients.

I love Oberer's. They always do a great job accommodating special requests where other florists will not! Recently I had a special request to make a corsage for my daughter's dance and went to 2 other florists that were closer to my house and they both said they wouldn't make it same day since they were 'too busy'. Finally drove to Oberer's which is out of my way and they made it while I waited. It's a corsage so it only takes like 3 minutes. Always happy with the service I get from them!

My wife and I had a difficult time finding a florist that was both reasonable and able to do what we wanted for our theme and decor. My wife was referred here from a friend who had also used them for her wedding. We worked with Bri Hewitt. She was perfect; knew exactly what we were referencing when showing pictures or descriptions. She took my wife through a step by step of how the process would go and followed that to a T. We dropped the vases off to them and they did the rest; literally, they delivered and set up without any issues all at a very reasonable cost. Oh, and my wife’s bouquet was absolutely beautiful. We met with four different florists before deciding on Oberer’s for our wedding. We had them do the wedding party’s bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres as well as reception centerpieces. We were happy they agreed to do a “mock up” of the bridal bouquet a week in advance so we could make sure the design, color, and texture was what we had in mind. We weren’t sure what to do for our altar and ceremony decorations, but the palm plants we were able to rent from Oberer’s were perfect (and very inexpensive since they were rentals). Two days before our wedding there was a mix up about who would provide some of the glassware and Oberer’s came up with a great compromise which we were so grateful for. Oberer’s handled the drop off and pick up, making it even easier for us and our guests to relax and simply enjoy the event. Five days later and the bridal bouquet is still just as gorgeous as it sits in a vase on our dining room table. Oberer’s does great work and Bri (the wedding coordinator at the Carmel location) is very accommodating and easy to work with. We would highly recommend Oberer’s for weddings!

I ordered valentines flowers way in advance, asked to be delivered ASAP no later then 1pm when my wife got off work. it was to be delivered to a hospital across the street from the florist. you no longer can call your local florist, all calls go thought Dayton Oh. and they have no clue where orders are. The website says you request by delivery times, I understand its valentines day; but don't say you can make a delivery time when you cant.

Unfortunately had two funerals to purchase flowers for at the same time so went online to Oberer's and placed the orders. For some insane reason, they charged me for one order and then placed the other order on a "house credit account" and didn't collect my payment. Months later, I received an invoice from Oberer's in the mail saying I owed them for one of the orders. I threw the invoice away thinking that they had just mistakenly sent another bill. Then more invoices started arriving via mail and then the phone calls started. The people I have spoken with on the phone admit this was an error on their part and that Oberer's should have never given someone who has never done business with them the option of putting the order on a "house credit account". However, they are adamant that I must pay this invoice which is now over a year old. I told them they had the opportunity to collect my money when I placed the order and I am not responsible for the error on their website at the time of the order. They told me they'd send me to collections for $30. Fine, go right ahead Oberer's....you do what you gotta do. I can guarantee you that you've already spent well over $30 on your collections efforts and I look forward to continuing to increase your costs even more in the near future.

Because of Oberer's I have gone from sending flowers a few times per year - usually for funerals -- to thinking of a floral arrangement first for many occasions, sometimes a couple of times per month! This vendor is a joy to work with -- lovely arrangements at very affordable prices and delivery the same day. Their website is easy to navigate and the choices -- arrangements and prices -- are many and varied and true to the picture. I find myself purchasing the $19.95 and $29.95 arrangements often - for various occasions, and their more expensive arrangements when something special is called for. Their order takers are courteous and helpful, sometimes having the addresses on file before I can give the info. Routinely folks comment on the uniqueness and beauty of the arrangements; and when I have them in my own home, it is not unusual for them to look fresh and colorful for a week or so. The promotional emails sometimes prompt my daughter and me to say: "Who can we send flowers to today?" I continue to recommend this florist to friends and neighbors. Bottom line -- dependable, affordable, fresh and lovely arrangements -- everything anyone wants from a florist.

I came in the other day with 2 toddlers and a newborn to get some flowers for my wife. I had an AMAZING experience in the store. The staff went out of their way to help me through the store with my kids, find a beautiful, reasonably priced bouquet, give my daughter a pair of free roses, and help me out to the car. 10/10 would recommend. This was my first time visiting the store in person, usually shop online which is also great. Will definitely be back again soon.

After calling five different florists and getting voicemail I called this business and was greeted by PATRICIA who was so bright, cheery and grateful that I called, her customer service was beyond perfect. I had to placed an order with her, she took EXCELLENT care of ALL my needs and her suggestive selling made me spend more than expected. I would definitely use this florist for all my future needs.
