Normally very pleased with them but their hours of operation aren't optimal for people who work 9-5 So if you want flowers you have to pay for the delivery when I drive by them 2x a day.

I love the folks at Monarch! They are so professional and know just the right touch for every occasion. The flowers! Oh my! The flowers! You can always tell when an arrangement has come from Monarch. It's unique and it has their own special flair. I don't know how they do it, I just want them to keep on doing it! They are my go-to florist. Thumbs up all the way!

From my daughter's prom flowers to birthday arrangements and even funeral flowers.... we have NEVER been disappointed. Monarch has always exceeded our expectations! Truly gifted people work at this establishment and the owner Jen has always been so professional as she seemingly oversees every detail. We've also been to a couple weddings that Monarch has done the flowers... All I can say is UNBELIEVABLE!

Displeased with the pricing. Tried ordering an item that said "priced as shown" (with a balloon) but when checking out, the product did not actually have a balloon. Their reasoning was that a 3rd party made the website which caused discrepancies. Very unprofessional in that regard.

Monarch did the flowers for my wedding and I am extremely pleased at the work they did. We had a specific image in mind for how our flowers should look and did not have a huge budget. Monarch accommodated both of these guidelines splendidly. Thanks for the excellent work, the flowers were excellent.

I came here to get my wedding bouquet done. I spoke to someone who took down my name & number and told me they would get a hold of my when they get some samples of flowers to do my artificial bouquet. This was a month before the wedding. No one got a hold of me until 1 week before the wedding! Very unprofessional. I went to St. John florist that same day i visited Monarch and they sent me picture samples just 2 days after and would email, call me, and text me with every detail.

Jen Steliga and her staff did an amazing job with the flowers for my daughter's wedding Oct. 3rd, 2015. The centerpieces and her bouquet were exquisite and just what the bride asked for. We could not have been more pleased. From my first meeting with Jen and then a follow-up visit when my daughter was in town, Jen's calm nature made us feel so relieved. People were surprised that since the wedding was in Chicago that we didn't use someone there. I like to support my local businesses (I live in northwest Indiana) when I can and since it was not a problem for them to deliver there, we went with Monarch. So happy we did! Guests as well as the staff at the wedding venue admired the arrangements as much as we did.

Extremely disappointed in the arrangement we purchased for a funeral of a loved one. We paid $120.00 for something that looked just plain ugly. All of us who saw it agreed, and we were embarrassed. Also, it simply wasn't worth the cost. We paid extra for additional flowers to be added to a plant. They selected the cheapest flowers, and the whole thing was incoherent and poorly arranged. In looking at the arrangements from other florists, we could have gotten much nicer and better arranged flowers for less. I feel we were taken advantage of at a vulnerable time. Very sad.
