I was given flowers for my birthday from this place and came home to find them just sitting on my porch not in a protective bag or anything and it was a very windy day then they all died within 3 days. The person who ordered them for me called and complained and they told him they would replace them and send me new flowers. The new flowers just arrived and they are not even the same flowers at all that were in the original flowers. There are flowers broken and just dangling from the stem and its so bare and ugly that my 9 year old could have done a better job herself. This place is a joke!

I have never ordered from this place and I doubt that I ever will only because I don't send or receive flowers but I'm giving a four star rating because despite all of the bad experiences below, i know that not everyone has the same experience and I hope to revive the courage of the company to do its best despite any mishaps and to educate any delivery drivers that they have one staff on how to conduct themselves and how to dress and just the standards of the company in general and to do the same for staff members inside the store on the same standards when putting together orders... Stay blessed.

If I could give zero stars I would since that's the number of flowers I received. Placed an order for Mother's Day and nothing was received. Upon submitting a complaint to FTD, Cumberland called and explained that they were busy so they just never bothered to fill the order. However, they would deliver them that day instead. I hesitantly agreed, but needless to say, nothing showed up again.

Worst experience ever with a florist! I ordered flowers for my mother through FTD for her 75th birthday. I’m in Texas, she’s in Indianapolis. My dad sent me pics of the flowers they delivered. I was crushed and embarrassed. FTD has no business using this establishment

Worst experience ever! My husband passed away and my family had previously gone here for my grandpas funeral flowers. They not only gave us the wrong arrangement, but never gave us an invoice, delivered it to the wrong funeral home, spelled the wrong words on the ribbons and then when I requested to be reimbursed, the owner argued with me and told me I was wrong-3 weeks after my husband passed away!! They are a terrible and incompetent disorganized business. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

Just wanted to add my experience from 2-3 years ago or so. A friend ordered us a surprise beautiful arrangement for our anniversary. We arrived home to find them just sitting on the porch. Not much protection from the wind etc. I remember not being impressed at all with this place. So from that memory I don't recommend this place. I should've placed a review back then, but I didn't think this place was up to having a web site at the time. Yes, the arrangement was nice. Perhaps if one were to actually pick them up all would be well.

The worst experience I have ever had with a florist in my life!

Used these guys to send flowers to a funeral at a nearby funeral home. The flowers showed up with no card...therefore they were not placed due to two funerals going on at the same time so the funeral home could not tell who they were for. We called to find out what happened and they were unconcerened! These flowers cost over 80$. They said they would call us back and never did.

Parked in the back and walked into the side entrance and was greeted by an empty store that smelled bad. Was completely ignored and there were not any arrangement to even look at. I saw a few workers who did not even give me the time of day. Better off going to Walmart and buying flowers and making your own arrangement.

I called to inquire about ordering 50 carnations for a local school to give to students at their end-of-year awards ceremony and was told each carnation would be $1.50 each and they would not offer a discount. I asked if that would be fore one set color or a variety of colors and her response was "I guess however you order them." First, $1.50 for a carnation seems more like the price for a rose. Second, you can't offer even a 10% discount to a school that is celebrating their students of the year?! And third, the over-the-phone customer service was not very pleasant. We'll be taking our business else where, which is unfortunate because I am not only a local teacher, but also a local homeowner that would have preferred for our money to help support a small local business.

Was supposed to have flowers for mothers day last year they kept telling 1800 flowers they delivered them. I would know! Finally some girl walks into my work ( 4 DAYS LATE) in street clothes and puts the saddest excuse for flowers I have ever seen on my desk. Then hands we a bent card that had pen scratch all over it. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I ordered floral arrangement Oct 8, 2014. and was very happy with beautiful fresh flowers, the design was outstanding and the service was excellent. I recommend Cumberland Flowers and will call them again

My daughters prom corsage was less than what she wanted. We tried to fix it, change the ribbon, and the whole thing falls apart. Ran over to Cumberland Florist and she was able to make it beautiful again!!! Saved our day at no charge!!! I have used them for years and have loved everything. I will continue to use them for all my floral needs!!!!

My friend received flowers that were supposed to be delivered on a Wednesday but didn't receive them until Thursday night. The flowers were dead, some were upside down in the vase, the vase was almost empty! My friend called the florist, was hung up on, only to call the next day and be lied to saying they were delivered by truck, which was a lie, they were delivered by car. The woman on the phone was rude. My friend had a death in the family and this is reprehensible.

Horrible service, don't bother wasting your business with them. My girlfriend ordered me a surprise birthday arrangement and they didn't even deliver the day of delivery. She was in tears because this was going to her first gift to me. She ordered a bouquet, balloons and chocolates, they delivered flowers only the next day. I call them after 5 minutes of delivery asking why rest of order was not delivered and the individual over the phone said "because she was being a hassle" and hung up on me. All she did was ask them why they didn't deliver.

I ordered flowers on a Saturday afternoon through FTD to be delivered on Monday. They claimed they called the recipient several time, in fact it was once and it went to voice mail. Therecipient called the number given within 2 minutes and were told they couldn't come back and would deliver it on Tuesday. The recipiant said 5 PM would be best. No delivery on Tuesday and no phone call. I cancelled the order through FTD on Wednesday morning. They are not up to FTD standards! I would give them a zero if that was an option.

Went there today to pick up flowers for my moms 50th birthday 50$ is what i spent i feel like it wasnt worth it for the arangment i revieved looked nothing like the picture they really did not have a big selection of flowers in there cooler. I would have been better off buying them from kroger and only pay 20-30$. Only reason i went ahead anf bought them was because i wanted to support my local business. But i defiantly will not be going back..

Beware, I ordered and then cancelled my order through FTD. The original request was the flowers were ordered on a Friday, to be delivered the next day, Saturday. No flowers Friday, because they were cancelled, but Sunday afternoon a knock on the door, with a similar bouquet that was canceled, and was told they were too busy to deliver on Saturday, so they delivered on Sunday, but their ad says they are closed on Sundays?????.

Everything that could go wrong did. Tried to surprise my wife for her birthday. Ordered flowers from ftd Man knocks on our door day of delivery with only directions in his hand. Surprise for sure. Claims card didn't go through wanted my info again for flowers to be delivered next day. I said no cancel the whole order. Checked bank online. Purchase was made. And am now contesting the order. I would not recommend cumberland flowers to anyone. Ruined my evening and made me look bad on my wife's birthday. Extremely pissed about the whole ordeal.

My sister and I went to this Florist shop to order my bridal bouquet. I showed her my centerpiece arrangements and she matched those nicely showing me an arrangement she put together quickly. However the day of my wedding my sister went to pick them up for me and they did not look like what we had put together and what I already paid for. It was similar but we were matching the centerpieces, she said something to the man at the counter and all he said was “I didn’t make them “. They put carnations in my bridal bouquet which was never discussed and disappointing

Received ugliest flowers today from Cberland Flowers. This is not the fault of the sender. I highly suspect that this is because the "recipe" called for certain flowers that were thrown together by someone who has no floral design experience, yet they followed the "recipe" so they will do nothing. Please consider the subcontracting when you use 1-800 Flowers or other such source. You might just end up with an ugly bunch of flowers thrown haphazardly together, and poor customer service on the other end.
