Very nice customer service for the most part, but because this is essentially an institution in Chinatown, you may get a little bit of attitude/#FigureOutWhatYouWantAlready if it's crowded. Some of the flowers are a bit overpriced, but this shop ships to the mainland exceptionally well. Go here if you are buying flowers to send to the mainland for a wedding, graduation, or to have waiting for people when they arrive back home. However, for flowers to give to people locally, airport Greetings, graduations, weddings, etc., you're better off going to Jenny's on Beretania. The prices are better, the selection is the pretty much the same or a bit better depending on the day, and customer service at Jenny's is more consistent. Accepts credit cards, but prefers cash. Will negotiate with you for lower prices on older flowers if it is later in the day. Knowledgeable about what types of flowers or leis are appropriate for which occasions. Very limited on-street parking. Maunakea Street is a one-way, packed street, so cruise it slowly or you may miss a parking stall. To drive back down it again requires you to go around the block on some pretty busy streets. If it's during the afternoon, you may be better off just pulling into one of the municipal parking lots and paying the couple bucks. Recommend.

We got flowers for our son's prom here. While the price was a little high, it was the only place that had a nice bouquet for a girl. There is a parking structure that's open to the public. It's actually a Municipal lot. Good selection of flowers.

When I stopped by to pick it up they had it nice and ready, it was beautiful and I was able to get photos done in it. Great people and lovely leis.

Cindy's has been my lei shop since the 1980's. They have moved up and down Maunakea Street, but have maintained high quality. Having lived all my life in Hawai`i, I am now on the mainland, but still want lei for special occasions. The lei have arrived fresh and beautiful in winter and summer.

One of the best! I often make the extra trip here when I need a special lei, or when quality matters most. Most recently, I needed leis for a wedding. I ordered a Pikake, haku, hilo maile, double green orchid, ginger, and white orchid leis over the phone. They needed a little extra time for the hilo maile, but no problem (I was expecting it). However, unexpectedly they even provided a kama'aina discount! The haku lei was absolutely beautiful. I picked up the leis in the morning. Parking is a hassle, but it's always worth it. The leis were fresh, I was given instructions on how to care for them (especially the maile), and everything went well! A number of people commented the leis were beautiful. I'll definitely continue to refer people to Cindy's and come here again!

Cindy's Lei Shoppe is da Bomb!!!!!! This is the 5th time I have ordered leis for either graduation or a wedding from Cindy's and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a truly wonderful experience. I live in Central Coastal California, near San Luis Obispo. My parents grew up on Oahu and all my relatives still live there. In order to represent my mom and dad on these occasions, I have been purchasing leis in their honor. My mom's favorite was pikake, and even with all the issues with them being so fragile and not holding up, I still order them for my daughters. I have never been disappointed! The leis are shipped overnight, as promised, arriving in wonderful condition. Every time I open the box, the aroma brings back the islands and memories of my mom and dad! Since I always seem to have a special order (I usually don't order off the website) I always talk to someone in the shop who walks me thru my order. The staff is knowledgable and friendly and oh-so- helpful!. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

They have many beautiful, fresh leis ready and available, no wait. Truly a wonderful little piece of Hawaiian culture to experience in Chinatown. I visited Cindy's straight from the airport to discuss my wedding flowers. The two staff in the shop were both extremely helpful and offered their suggestions. I picked leis for all guests, myself and groom along with a haku and a hand tied bouquet. The flowers for the bouquet that I chose weren't available, so I left the choice with the shop, just giving them a rough idea on colours. When I collected my flowers a few days later they were beautiful and the smell of the double tuberose lei was amazing! The flowers lasted really well. I would definitely recommend Cindy's Lei & Flower Shoppe.
