I just received the stunning butterfly orchid lei from Aloha Island Lei! I had just ordered it the day before and was surprised that it arrived the next afternoon. I had it sent to my work and went straight home with it. The packaging was great, the lei was well protected and shipped with cold packs to keep it chilled. I'm originally from Hawaii and make leis myself for friends and family so I'm a little bit of a "lei snob". I was truly impressed with the quality and artistry. This particular orchid lei is a butterfly style which takes a specific skill to sew just right so the individual flowers line up correctly. It lays flat on the shoulders and is a real piece of living art. The fact that it held up SO well with shipping was very impressive. I will be recommending Aloha Island Lei to my friends and family and impress upon them the quality and excellent service I received. Thank you!

Thank you for sending the beautiful Kika flower lei. It arrived nicely packed in shredded paper with two ice packs in the bottom. I live in a very rural area and its a challenge at times to get things delivered. It came on time and in excellent condition. I was not at home when it arrived, and the delivery was left in the hot sun for about an hour. It not only held up very well, it was still cool inside. The flowers are fresh and absolutely gorgeous. You can't tell I didn't pick it up from the florist. I have always had great quality and service from Aloha Island Leis and highly recommend them. It's absolutely gorgeous and I will be thrilled to wear it around.

Speed and quality of customer service is superb! Unfortunately it is summer and a very hot summer at that. So fresh items coming half way across the world tend to not do great even overnight. The lei arrived in the afternoon packaged very well with the cool packs still feeling cool on the bottom of the box while the top was warm. UPS barely knocked and left at door. In the few minutes it took for me to get to the door, they were gone. I immediately placed in the refrigerator. Upon opening the box the lei was soggy and some ginger petals/leaves were wilted/discolored. It has been hung in hopes it dries out a bit and looks better...

I love the exquisite selection of leis that Aloha Island Lei & Floral offers. Daniel Paik was very helpful in coordinating a delivery date for my lei. His main concern was that my lei arrived fresh and would not wilt in the hot weather. I was so pleased the lei was shipped priority overnight via FedEx. The box was clearly labeled as perishable and there was a label stating to refrigerate upon arrival. The box was also responsibly shipped. There was a USDA stamp from Oahu and there was no problem with the package passing my strict California agricultural inspection. Inside was a securely packaged, drop dead gorgeous orchid lei. It was a beautiful purple and white lei with the most beautiful and intricate design I have ever seen. I cannot imagine how long this took to create. I was surprised at the tightness of the flowers. The lei was the perfect length for me. There was no damage to any petals and it was so well made that I couldn’t see the string that kept the lei together. Extra care was obviously given to the packaging. Inside were two heavy duty cold packs nicely wrapped in newspaper so there would be no issue with water leaking outside of the box. The lei was wrapped in paper and plastic to protect the flowers. This type of care in packaging and the use of extremely fresh flowers resulted in me being able to keep my lei around for a full week. After wearing I would spray the lei with water and store it in my vegetable crisper. I am beyond impressed with the quality of the flowers, the design and construction of the lei, and the excellent customer service I received from Aloha Island Lei & Floral. They will definitely be my go to floral shop for best in class leis. I would recommend their leis to anyone who needs the finest specimen of a lei for an important occasion such as a wedding, party, or graduation.

Recieved my fresh Lei today from Aloha Island Lei. I was very impressed right away with how gorgeous the colors are. It was still cold from the cool packs placed inside the box. It came in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend this company to all my family and friends.

The lei arrived yesterday and it is beautiful and very fragrant. It came all the way to Colorado packed in a box that included ice packs and cushioning paper that prevent crushing. The lei itself was wrapped lightly in a special paper and a breathable plastic sheet. I followed the directions that came with the lei - I placed it in the refrigerator in a plastic bag after lightly misting it with water and left it over night. Today I have it out on display and my house smells so good!

I received my beautiful white ginger lei today. I am so happy with my lei, it's perfect. The flowers are so fresh and very fragrant, they smell so sweet. My lei brought back memories of my recent trip to Maui. I was very impressed how the lei was packaged. The lei was wrapped very carefully in plastic wrap so the flowers would not get damaged. It was neatly packed in shredded paper which contained 2 cold packs to keep it from wilting. The box was properly labeled with "perishable" and "refrigerate upon arrival" labels. I received my ginger lei first thing in the morning at my doorstep, delicately wrapped with a cool pack on the bottom of the box. The fragrance was so incredible it was like standing next to the plant itself. It was pure white, no browning of the petals at all. It was woven tightly so there was no shortage of flowers and I could feel the weight, pleasantly, of so many flowers. It had a nice length to it and a lovely white bow as well. I like when the bow matches the flower, I think it's a classier look. It was also garnished with dainty greenery under the bow and I thought that was a very nice touch. I have bought many lei in the past, but this was in a class of its own. I could tell there was much thought and care that went into creating such a beautiful lei. Mahalo, Aloha Island Lei!

Very fast shipping! I requested for a lei on Tuesday in exchange for review and I received it Thursday morning. It was well packaged. The lei was neatly wrapped and it was sitting on a gel ice pack that was still 85% frozen. Unfortunately, the flowers on the lei were a little wilted. I received a "micro ginger" lei. So if it had been a lei with flowers that weren't as sensitive it may have been in perfect condition. I also live in the middle of California desert and it gets hot quickly even at 9:30 a.m. However, it was well made and the flowers smelt amazing :)

Words cannot describe how amazing I feel given this Lei. And it could not have come at a better time. My uncle who was a long time resident of Hawaii had just recently passed when I spotted this opportunity to write a review if given a Lei from this amazing company. Wonderful experience! I was expecting to wait days, or even weeks to receive my beautiful flowers. I finalized my order late Wednesday evening and received my lei Friday morning. Luckily it came well packaged with ice packs so no harm came to it while being delivered to my home in southern California. I stored it in my fridge for a few days before gifting them to the founder of a local pet charity for her birthday. They looked just as beautiful as the day they arrived, honestly not a single noticeable difference. She was in love and everyone at the party was in shock they had made it in the mail all the way from Hawaii so impeccably well. It had never crossed my mind to order a lei as a gift before, but what an awesome idea! Unique and memorable, this is such a fun option for celebrating any happy occasion. The Aloha Island Lei site is full of some amazing options; I ordered the Double Tuberose with Jade Orchid and Baby Red Roses. It came in just two days, and the packaging was impressive - very secure, and still cold! The lei took my breath away. So, SO lovely. I was surprised at just how intricate and sturdy it was - clearly an enormous amount of skill went into making it. No one should be worried about this falling apart during wear. And the flowers were all fresh and incredibly fragrant. I was a bit selfish and left it out (instructions are to keep it cool & placed in the frig when not needed), because it had such a presence about it - I wanted to enjoy every moment. I received my lei April 11th, 2017. I live in New York, so I was extremely excited to see this box on my doorstep. The box was large and had fragile labels all over it, which I appreciated because the ship from Hawaii to New York can definitely get harsh. I brought the box in and proceeded to open it. I had trouble at first because I didn't want to ruin the box, but I ended up getting around the issue. I took the top off and as I did, there was tissue neatly stacked on top of the lei. It looked so pretty and carefully packed. I unfolded the tissue, and the lei was there beneath it. Not only was I excited, but I was impressed with the packaging as well. Underneath the lei were two ice packs wrapped in newspaper (I kept those as well. Lol.) that ensured that the lei stayed fresh. On the inside of the box were instructions on how to maintain the lei. I followed the instructions promptly. Today is May 6, 2017 and it died. Though I am sad (mainly my fault), I'm pleasantly surprised. It lasted a very long time and it kept it's original beauty. I would definitely recommend Aloha Island Lei to anyone looking for authentic leis. They truly take care of their product and put pride into their creations.

The lei was delivered on September 1st but my 87 year-old grandfather picked the package off the porch and put it in our outside refrigerator and forgot to tell me until September 7th. I received my beautiful Aloha Island Lei this morning, hand delivered by FedX to my front door here in Castro Valley, CA. Securely packaged with clear instructions on the front of the box, I could hardly wait to see what they sent. It was a beautiful purple orchid lei in pristine condition. The lei was delicately wrapped in tissue paper. Below the lei was a layer of shredded paper on the bottom and sides of the lei to cushion any impact. In the bottom of the box were two ice packets double wrapped in newspaper. I'll post a picture to FB so you can see for yourselves the quality and care taken. I was extremely please with the lei I received. I surprised my mom with it (as she got married in Hawaii) and she loved it! It arrived here in NY in great condition other than some extremely minor browning on the tips of some of the leaves. It also arrived extremely quick, which is always preferred and fantastic when it comes to flower deliveries! It lasted a little over a week (coming in and out of the fridge every day) and stayed together well and remained fresh! Wow! I can't stop saying it. Lei arrived a few minutes ago. Ordered on Monday, shipped on Tuesday, FedEx tracking updates along the way, arrived Wednesday morning at 10:14am (scheduled to arrive between 9am and 10:30am, well done FedEx). Two ice packs inside were still mostly frozen, packed so gently, wrapped in wax floral paper, a layer of cellophane and shredded paper cushioning on both sides, it arrived in near perfect condition (as good as I would get back in Hawai'i straight from a florist shop, not kidding), flowers in beautiful shape, no browning, no wilting, the bow is perfect. It's stunning. The best part is that I'm taking it now to a retirement home nearby as a random act of kindness. I'm going to find someone that is celebrating a birthday today, recently lost a loved one or is from Hawai'i and deliver it to them at lunch to brighten their day. I live in California (Bay Area) and I recieved my lei this past Tuesday. I have to say it was such an amazing packaging that kept my lei in a beautiful condition. My lei was so beautiful, the detail is epeciable. I really loved the fact that in the packaging it had gel ice pack to keep the lei in fresh condition. Also that it provided instructions for those of us who don't know how to care for them like putting the lei in the refrigerator or spraying water on them to keep it fresh. I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the lei I received. It was delivered to me with ice packaging that kept the lei fresh and vibrant. I followed the storing/caring instructions provided and amazingly enough it stayed fresh for well over a week. This is good to know for those who are planners and like to be organized. When you have an event coming up, you can order the lei to arrive earlier than your event which takes the stress out of having to wait last minute for your lei to arrive (or hope it arrives in time for your event). This specific lei held up for OVER a week before it started showing any signs of wilting. I wish I could post pictures to show you how beautifully and PERFECTLY arranged each flower was. The colors stayed vibrant until about a week and half before it started to wilt slightly. I'm going on 2 weeks, and it still looks beautiful as this specific lei wilts from a purple to a brighter red (not brown). The scent on this specific lei was not as strong as others such as the pikake, so wearing it around all day won't make you dizzy if you're sensitive to scent. The quality of the weaving and floral placement was spectacular. Aloha Island Lei did not take any shortcuts in creating this lei. I have taken a lei-making class before in Hawaii and I know how fragile each flower can be. And it was a natural process for me to choose the finest flowers to thread through a needle (and I'm no where near being an expert with flowers). But this was obvious with their work. There was no shortcut taken. Just from the appearance of the lei, you can tell they value the art of lei-making. Thank you SO MUCH for delivering the aloha spirit in a form of a lei and for keeping this beautiful tradition alive. I can't wait to go back to the island at the end of the month. I recently agreed to receive a lei and write an honest review of the item I receive. I just got my Butterfly Lei and it is simply beautiful. The orchids were fresh without any wilt. There were no brown spots and the lei was in tact. The package arrived promptly and to my surprise they actually used 2 frozen cold packs to keep the lei cold! The intricate way the lei is created is stunning. I am amazed at how someone could unfold a flower let alone an orchid and arrange it in a way that makes it look stunning. I received an Audrey Orchid Lei in the mail 2 days ago and couldn't be more pleased. It was left on my doorstep in a box cooled with 2 ice bags that were wrapped in newspaper. The lei was laying flat between a plastic sheet and tissue paper and was in great shape. I should state that the weather in Oregon was very cool as it is Fall, so I cannot truly attest to how long the shipment would stay cool on the porch. The color was vibrant and the lei was stringed very tightly so no cord was showing through at all. It appears to be carefully and meticulously made and is a sturdy lei that sits flatly. I can wear it confidently without worry about breakage or flowers falling off. In observing very closely, there was a little section that was a little bent, but nothing that deterred from the beauty at all. I wore it for part of a day and placed it in the refrigerator, in a gallon bag, for 2 days. Taking it out today, it still has vibrant color and just slight browning on a couple of petals. Since it is an odorless lei, I cannot say whether or not the smell persisted for days, but in seeing the quality that was shipped, I would dare to say that all of their products will be beautiful.

Husband found the box this morning on my back porch. FedEx delivered yesterday and for some reason did not bring to my front door, ring the bell, or knock on the door. My back door is rarely used so its lucky my husband went out there this morning. I would not advise ever using FedEx again for perishable deliveries as this is not a priority to them. USPS delivers on weekends and always make sure someone knows there is a package, plus they will send a text to the sender to let them know of the delivery and how it was delivered, front door, mailbox, back door, etc.. As for the lei, when I opened the package it was still cool even after sitting in the sun and all night, over twelve hours. the ice packs melted but did not leak into the box. None of the petals had fallen and it looks very secure, the bow is nice and is in good shape. I would have a hard time telling this sat outside over twelve hours. Exceptional quality. The lei is breathtakingly beautiful, still fresh and full of life. I am Hawaiian born and raised on the mainland, but my mother is half Hawaiian, born and raised in Honolulu and she loves leis as this has been an integral part of her entire life. She gasped beautiful this was and cant wait for me to finish writing this so she can just look at its beauty. My one suggestion is to include a description of the flowers and care instructions in the box. You might already do this for normal orders, I don't know. We will be displaying this proudly in my home with our other Hawaiian décor. I would like to dry this as a keepsake, not sure if you include those instruction in your normal packaging, would be a good idea so people can preserve these beautiful items. I love, love, love this lei. Thank you for sending such a beauty.

The package arrived secure and neatly packed. The box was adequately labeled on all sides with a perishable item sticker. On top of the box, there were instructions on how to care for the lei, very easy and simple to follow steps. Opened the box, the lei was neatly layed, wrapped in tissue paper and a cellophane wrap over the tissue. On the bottom of the box were ice packs to keep the lei cool. The lei was beautiful and it was actually in way better condition than I had anticipated. The orchids were in tact and were still fresh! Although there was ONE slightly wilted flower, I can honestly say it was most likely due to me arriving home late from work. I'm not sure what time the box arrived but I got home at around 1845 (6:45 p.m.) and mind you it's summer time so I'm sure the warm weather outside played a major factor. Other than that, you couldn't really see the slightly wilted flower unless you inspected the lei really hard or were looking for it, which I was. The lei is still very beautiful and I will be ordering future leis from Aloha Island Lei & Floral for future occasions because moving all over the mainland, it's hard to find a reliable source for leis such as this. I received my lei this afternoon. The ice packs were still partially frozen. This is my 5th lei to receive from Aloha Island Lei. Their packaging varies each time. This time there was some bruising on the orchid lei. It was wrapped in tissue paper, but there was no protection when the box was turned upside down. The flowers were a bit crushed when the ice packs rested on the them. Styrofoam around the flowers would prevent this. The company could stand to have more consistency in their packaging.

I received my lei surprisingly fast. The box came sealed with tape and black zip ties going across the box. The box had specific stickers on it like perishable, refrigerate on arrival and plant material from hawaii. The stickers helped as I got it shipped to my grandmothers and she didn't know I had ordered a lei. The lei was wrapped in plastic and had shredded paper on top. At the bottom of the box were two ice packs wrapped in plastic which kept the flowers fresh. I loved my lei!! It was made of orchids and the color was beautiful. I was so happy to receive my fresh lei from Hawaii! Customer service was excellent, and the lei was shipped promptly and arrived right on time. It was packaged will care, and arrived in excellent condition. I was worried that it would wilt before arrival because of the frigid conditions in New Jersey when I received it.
