I've been ordering flowers for years for very large hotels and class A commercial high rise buildings in DC and I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this florist. I called from out of town for a relative's family that passed away and I was very specific about what I DID NOT want (cheap filler flowers) for a decent priced arrangement ($65.00). I wish I could post a picture of what was delivered. It looked like a basket of weeds. I was told that the arrangement was considered premium stems. I have no idea what is passed off for premium stems in their area but in my area that arrangement would be laughed out of town and they would not be in business. I would not recommend this florist.

They went above and beyond to make sure my mom received her flowers on her wedding anniversary. Mom has a hard time since Daddy passed. The flowers are beautiful and I can not thank them enough for going above and beyond! Definitely recommend

Yesterday my husband went to the Purple Tulip to purchase flowers for my birthday. When he arrived it was 8 minutes until 5 and the door was locked. Closing time is 5pm. He knocked and pointed to his watch. The lady working pointed to the clock in the store. He left without flowers. This is poor business and poor customer service. It was not yet 5pm! We have used this florist a number of times for different occasions and have been pleased in the past but this experience has left a sour taste in our mouth. We will not be getting flowers here in the future.

What a great florist! I ordered a bouquet for my anniversary (same day order and pick up) and gave pretty vague instructions on what flowers I wanted since I don’t really know much about flowers. I gave color preference and that’s it. They designed a beautiful fall arrangement made with locally grown flowers. My wife loved them and they lasted for a long time too, a true testament to the freshness of their flowers. Great customer service from first call through pick up. I’ll definitely be using the Purple Tulip Florist for my future flower needs. Thank you!

Working with the ladies at The Purple Tulip for our wedding was such a pleasure! Catherine was absolutely wonderful. So responsive and great at what she does. Planning a wedding becomes so much more stressful than I ever imagined, but Catherine helped so much to alleviate some of that stress. Katherine assisted us at every step and was so kind and patient with us. Even after we switched our order for like the 5th time. On the big day the flowers were absolutely beautiful and Katherine ensured everything was delivered and set up perfectly. The pricing was very affordable and the flowers were great quality.
