I had a wonderful experience with Philadelphia flower market. I ordered flowers for my wedding from them. We decided to do flowers ourselves and needed enough for 10 centerpieces, 6 bouquets, garland, and miscellaneous decorations, so the order turned out to be quite large with garden roses, peonies, hydrangeas, freesias and multiple fillers. The owner, Butch, was so helpful and encouraging, and helped me with every aspect of the order, like calculating the optimal delivery date depending on how much opened I wanted the flowers to be. He gave me numerous most welcome and helpful advice on flower care, and helped me pick the flowers. They have a very wide selection of flowers and prices. Prices are surprisingly reasonable. The flowers arrived on time and in excellent condition. I ordered slightly more than needed just to account for random withered flowers, but none of them was withered! We ended up making extra arrangements for every spot in the hotel where the reception took place. All arrangements turned out to be beautiful, they truly exceeded my expectations! I am so grateful to Butch for all his time, attention, and professionalism!

The flowers were delivered in a timely manner, I ordered the same morning so I was very pleased with that! Overall the flowers look great and very similar to the picture besides there appearing to only be one sunflower in the bouquet compared to the two or three shown in the picture. No big deal, they were still a great hit!

The flowers were fresh and it was delivered at the time requested. But the note was written by hand and whoever wrote it had bad penmanship and made spelling errors which ruined the moment. I would suggest that you type the note from a computer to avoid this issue with future customers.

I wanted to support a local business so I gave Butch the owner/manager a shot. SUPER nice when we met and talked about his designers blah blah. So they supposedly attempted to deliver my flowers multiple times yet didn't call my wife once (even though they had the number). I eventually had to have them deliver it the next day. They came and were flat, partially dead and some were limp. I called and Butch got on the phone cut me off and said "I'm going to talk first" then tells me I am "the kind of people that will never be pleased" and "would prefer we not do business again." He also said he tried to deliver multiple times and didn't charge me more ---UM who charges more when they aren't able to deliver? Remember - a business, like a relationship - it is measured when things don't go well. How does a business respond in these situations? This one did very poorly. Yelling at your customers when they have a concern - not a good look. So much for supporting a small business. If you need flowers close by...buy them from the guy selling them in Suburban station. Better quality and he is super nice.

This place has really poor customer service. I called today after realizing a delivery that my husband had scheduled would not reach my workplace in time. Instead of listening to anything I was saying, the lady I spoke with interrupted multiple times, kept insisting that the delivery person would be there in 5-10 minutes, but then would follow that comment by saying that it could be half an hour or it may not reach me by today at all. I was very confused by it all because she wasn’t sticking to what she was saying. I never felt heard and got hung up on twice. Normally I am pretty patient with these things because I’ve been in customer service myself and I get that things happen but she refused to be communicative whatsoever. Do not waste your money here, find another place.

The flowers were beautiful. The were delivered to the church and I had a hard time finding them -- the church has several sanctuaries. But, the folks from the store, including the delivery person, followed up via phone and text to be sure we found the flowers. It was a tough day with the loss of a loved one and I really appreciated how patient they were. I would definitely recommend Philadelphia Flower Market.

Butch and Danielle were easy to work with for our wedding flowers. They were considerate of our budget and are very affordable compared to other wedding florists. The bouquets were beautiful and Danielle was even able to make a crown for our dog! The staff is friendly and were helpful and knowledgeable about what flowers we should use.

i love this flower shop so much, this is definitely now my go to for buying flowers for my loved ones. the owner was very nice and friendly, i love their rainbow roses and all of the other flowers in the shop. it's very convenient and not too pricey.

I first met Butch in 2000 I would get rose every other week and to this very day I still use The Philadelphia Flower Market. Butch and his staff have always been so very nice accommodating and his selection of flower are plentiful. Butch thanks for being my go flower guy and "Wing Man"

We had a wonderful experience working with Philadelphia Flower Market. Philadelphia Flower Market created 8 phenomenal, fall-inspired centerpieces for Judicial Sunday Coffee Hour, which was attended by 200+ guests including 30+ local judges, countless attorneys, esteemed clergy, and beloved church members. The centerpieces were visually stunning and gave our event the "WOW" factor we were looking for to make a lasting impression on our guests. 5-Star Customer Service: Butch and his assistant are consummate professionals who were an absolute pleasure to work with. I saw early on that Butch is very accommodating and flexible, as he worked with me to create customized centerpieces based on inspiration photos I found on Pinterest. The centerpieces Butch created for me cost a 1/3 of what other flower companies quoted me. It’s also very important to note that our event was on a Sunday and although their shop was closed, but Butch had no problem delivering the arrangements and set them up for me, whereas 2 other companies told me I would have to pick up the arrangements the day before and set them up myself into the vases. No one in Philadelphia can beat Philadelphia Flower Market’s rates, attention to detail, and customer service. We would use their services again and we highly recommend this company for your event, no matter how big or small.

The owner/ florist is the nastiest, rudest person I have ever heard from. I went into the shop today with my colleague who asked for my opinion of a corsage she was purchasing. I told her my honest opinion, that I thought corsages should be over the top and have more flowers or baby breaths. As soon as I finished my sentence, the owner finds himself telling me to mind my own business and that the corsage was not for me so therefore I have no say. No one should be talked to like that and no one should be disrespected especially if I was not even talking to you. People should not be treated with disrespect when they are coming to a place of business. This is the same reason why this flower shop will continue to fail and make no money. I will continue to tell people to boycott this place of business for the owner needs to learn how to respect his customers and learn how to run a decent shop. Lastly, your flowers are dead and need water.

I sent my wife these flowers last Friday because she wasn't having a great day at work. I went on line and ordered them. Butch and his staff delivered them in a timely manner and my wife loved the flowers and they made her day. They also have great prices. I also sent her Edibles Arrangements to her job. Phenomenal. You can tell this company and the staff are passionate about what they do. Called in to order a bouquet for my girlfriend and they were both pleasant to deal with and went out of their way to check with the delivery person to make notes for a special request to keep it subtle when calling her to come down and receive them. The flowers were not only perfect but the arrangement and even the card was done even better than I asked or expected. I’ve never had such an amazing experience with a florist before and will be engaging in routine business with this company exclusively as I’ve never seen my girlfriend smile the way these made her. You are awesome and I hope you continue to put this much pride and passion into bringing beauty into our home.

Purchased two trees yesterday afternoon 6/26 and spoke with the manager to have the trees delivered today 6/27. The manager stated that someone would call me around 1pm to confirm the delivery. Perfect I said and arranged for a friend To be there for the delivery. I was extremely excited today to receive the plants I purchased. I went to work thinking that there wouldn’t be any issue with the delivery. Around 2pm I noticed that I did not get a call from the delivery driver to confirm my delivery so I reached out to the store to see what’s up. I called the store and spoke with a gentlemen and it seemed like he didn’t know what was going on. I informed him that I made a purchase yesterday and was expecting delivery today. I provided him my address and he stated that he would call his delivery guys to get an update. 5 minutes later the gentlemen gets back on the line and says that my items were still at the store and that the 2 delivery drivers did not think they were to delivery this item. He smuggly replies that he will just waive the 12.99 delivery fee and have it sent tomorrow. I stated that was an inconvenience for me and I would like a refund for the items. The gentleman then says that he does not know how to process credit refunds and I would need to wait until the manager comes back around 6:30. Around 6:20 I arrived at the store knowing they would need my credit card to process the refund. The manager and the gentleman that helped me on the phone was there and they both looked at me confused. The manager(person I purchased the flowers from) asked why I was here? I told her that I spoke with the gentlemen earlier today and he informed me that my items did not ship today and I would like a refund. The manager then turns to the guy and ask what’s going on? He replies stating the trees were on the truck and that the delivery driver brought them back. Then says don’t worry I sold both of the items. Me: extremely confused and frustrated now ask the gentleman “ why did you tell me they were still here in the shop if they were with the delivery guy the whole time?” Unable to answer the question he continuously lies stating that he doesn’t understand my question. We went back and forth in regards to the call for 5 minutes as the owner processed the return. After the return was processed she pretty much dismissed me as I explained my dissatisfaction for her employees lack of customer service. At that point I decided to write this post. 1. Why did you lie and say the items were still at the store and then say the delivery guy brought them back when I arrived? 2. Why did you sell items that technically did not belong to you? 3. Why be combative with the customer when you were wrong?

Not sure why there are so any bad reviews but my experience with them was nothing short of incredible! I hired them to do my wedding flowers and centerpieces. Not only were they reasonable, the flowers and centerpieces looked absolutely amazing! Danielle is such a sweetheart and very talented. She made sure to get every detail right and delivered perfect results. Both Butch and Danielle personally delivered the items on the day of the wedding, even though it was all the way up at Jersey Shore. I'm so glad I hired them. They were both a delight to work with and I would definitely recommend them!

The saddest looking flowers I have ever received, and worse, the rudest owner ever. My husband tried to surprise me on our anniversary by having flowers delivered. I wasn't home when the delivery guy arrived and no one from the shop nor the delivery person tried to call me, despite the fact that they had my cell phone number. Today, my husband had to call the shop repeatedly, after the delivery person, who was supposed to arrive during a specific time window, never showed up. When he finally arrived over an hour later, the flowers were limp and flat--some were even broken. My husband called the shop to tell them and the shop owner got on the phone, cut him off, and told him that he preferred that he never shop with him again, since people like him couldn't be pleased. He also claimed that he tried to deliver multiple times the day before and never charged my husband extra for the multiple delivery attempts. UMMM...whaa....??? My husband PAID A DELIVERY FEE ALREADY. It's not his job to make sure I'm home! The flower shop is supposed to attempt to reach out to me if they've tried to deliver and couldn't, but never did! Why is this our fault? It's pretty upsetting; my husband tried to support a local business, but Philadelphia Flower Market gives small, local businesses a bad rep. I have had flowers delivered from other florists multiple times and NEVER received anything but gorgeous arrangements. These flowers are horrible, but even worse, the owner is a nasty guy who doesn't stand behind his product. DO NOT SUPPORT THEM.
