What a disappointment! Even though I placed the order over a week before the delivery date and confirmed it by phone the day before delivery, they "lost" the order, delivered it late to the Ritz Carlton, and the bouquet included flowers inappropriate for Chinese celebration even though the order gave clear instructions to NOT include white flowers. This florist was recommended by the Ritz Philadelphia Concierge as "their florist." Carl Alan completely failed in product value and customer service on a first time order for an important family event.

Amazing! We worked with Vito to plan our wedding at Ballroom at the Ben. He was very enthusiastic, fun, and knowledgeable. We brought a few pictures of what we wanted to the initial meeting but did not have strong opinions or ideas. Fortunately, this was not a problem at all. Vito had incredible ideas and helped guide us towards developing our "vision". Ultimately, we put a lot of trust in Vito and were not disappointed! The bouquets were gorgeous and the Ballroom looked stunning. We truly enjoyed our meetings with Vito and the entire experience with Carl Alan Floral Designs. Thank you!

Carl is amazing. He's so honest, his staff so friendly, and he made up my wedding flowers right before my eyes!!! I got to see my bouquet and tweak it in real time, and the end result was EXACTLY what I wanted! If you're going to spend any money on flowers, you might as well book Carl and get exactly what you envision. I will not recommend anyone else in the Philadelphia region. And I am not rich!! He worked with my budget and it's better than a dream!!

I have to say I was intimidated to meet with Carl Alan as it was the vendor the venue had suggested and I thought it would be way out of my budget. I was blown away from the second I walked into our first meeting. They were so easy to work with within my budget while still ensuring I was getting the most important aspects of my vision. I walked into the consultation room with a table set based on my pinterest vision and it was SPOT ON! The appointment continued to wow me as they pulled out flowers to see what I liked best (I have NO floral background whatsoever!) and then sent me home with a bouquet of everything I had loved and was still thinking about. They continued to be incredible to work with during the entire planning process whether I had quick easy questions or touching base. The sample centerpiece night was so amazing! To go and see right in front of my eyes my vision come to life and envision what the ballroom was going to look like was so exciting! I received pictures of my bridesmaids and my bouquet the night before my wedding and it was all becoming so real and perfect! When my bouquet showed up the morning of my wedding I was rather disappointed in the size of it as it wasn't as we had discussed. As I was visibly upset, my Mom gave a nice quick call to Carl Alan and they sent over a designer to redo my bouquet right in my hotel room with no questions asked. We were never made to feel like it was too much to ask and they even gave a follow up phone call to make sure I was as happy as I could be with the finished product. Everything was so PERFECT! I'm just the MOG; mother of the groom, but I am the local one and the wedding was in North Jersey. Vito was amazing from the minute we walked into the shop to have our initial talk. While there was a slight glitch in the bridal bouquet, Vito texted a picture to the bride and she called to have the corrections made, Vito did everything to make the bride's vision come true despite it being a winter wedding and some of her choice of flowers just didn't come in great. Then the night of the wedding, James and Chris were amazing at setting up the entire venue. It just sparkled. Everyone remarked about how great everything looked Thank you to all! Carl Alan is the best!

I can't say enough great things about Carl Alan floral! I worked with Heather ( and tad bit with Vito) for my wedding, the level of service that she provided was amazing! I met with a few florists in the Philly area, as soon as I started talking with heather I knew this was the one! She was very knowledgeable about all flowers and overall decor! She seemed like she really cared to get to know me and my vision for my wedding day! I'm still obsessed with my bouquet ! It was gorgeous! When I walked into my reception I was blown away how amazing everything looked! There was so much detail- it was Better than I ever imagined! It was exactly what I envisioned x100. Where do I even start?! Words cannot explain how grateful I am for everything Vito has done. Vito and the team at Carl Alan made my wedding look absolutely beautiful. I felt like I was in a fairytale wedding. From the very beginning of the planning process, Vito and his team made me feel like a part of the family. They made me feel super comfortable, and listened to all of my thoughts and ideas. Vito was amazing to work with and executed everything perfectly! I absolutely loved all the flowers and decorations - it all looked amazing!!! There was so much attention to all details from our chuppah to the aisle runner and decor to the bouquets and boutonnières.. Literally everything was perfect. I cannot say enough how amazing Vito and his team at Carl Alan are. I 100% recommend Carl Alan to any bride out there! Vito has a magic touch to make any space look beautiful. I found Carl Alan Floral Designs, online while I was searching for a florist for our wedding, from another state. I was impressed with her pricing and she really gave me a good feeling that she knew what she was doing and would be able to design the perfect bouquet. We planned our wedding in just 5 weeks and contacted Margaret only 2 weeks before the wedding, but she didn't even hesitate to help us! I was very happy with what she designed and especially with how little direction I gave her. She was super easy to work with and her work was beautiful! I would recommend her and use her again!

My consultation with Katie from Carl Alan has been the worst part of wedding planning thus far. She was 30 minutes late for my consultation, and told me that she wanted to make sure the bride in her prior consultation got the full experience instead of apologizing for her lateness. Then when I told her I had another appointment scheduled for 2 hours after the start time of this consultation she informed me that consultations normally take 2.5-3 hours which I was not told when I booked the appointment. Throughout the consultation she repeatedly left the room for 5-10 minutes at a time to show me examples of flowers that I explicitly told her I did not want to see knowing that we were short on time due to her lateness. When I told her that I had to leave because I was going to be late for my next appointment she gave me an attitude and insisted that I stay and hear her proposal that could have easily been emailed to me. Not to mention the fact that she was loudly chewing gum throughout the entire appointment. Katie was inconsiderate of my time and the most unprofessional person I've had to deal with.

This is a great flower shop run by conscientious and knowledgeable people. I called them to send some flowers to a family member staying at Hahnemann University Hospital for a few days following surgery. Told them that I didn't want to spend too much, just wanted something simple, bright, and fragrant. They came through perfectly with a tasteful arrangement of spray roses, delphinium, spider mums, liatris, and goldenrod. It was exactly what I wanted for a reasonable price, and my relative so loved how it cheered up the room.
