When placing an order from out of state, you in good faith hope that the florist you have selected will create an arrangement matching the quality you have carefully selected to send a love one. Unfortunately this was not the case for my latest order. I realize at times substitutions need to be made, but not shortcuts. I find it hard to believe roses would not be available. My cousin was there with the flowers and verified there were no roses. They were completely left out of the arrangement!! I am not one to usually complain, but please beware of these practices.

Stay away from, she was extremely rude to wife, she said it was a bad time to order flowers for weekend, she said "you didnt know it was PROM weekend". How the hell are we supposed to know when we dont have school aged children. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! You will be treated better, maybe she is getting to old.

Stay Away!!! False online advertising...my boyfriend chose and paid for the "premium" bouquet shown on the left and I received what is shown on the right. My boyfriend called to tell them that the sent the wrong flowers and he was told you can't go by what you see online...What??? Why is the picture there if it's not what will be? I know it wouldn't look exactly like the online picture but what I received is no way close to what was ordered. They didn't want to replace the flowers but gave a 50% credit for future use. That will probably never be used because of the horrible customer service reveived when my boyfriend called to let them know they didn't send what he paid for. They tried to argue that all the flowers weren't bloomed yet...if all the flowers were bloomed it still wouldn't have looked close to what was ordered.

Not happy at all. Flowers were just o.k. Lasted only two days. Unfortunately, I did not know the name of the florist since my family sent them, but when I did finally get the name and phone number I was told that they would have needed to see the flowers. I totally understand this, but was not pleased with any part of this mother's day gift, except that I received them!

Best flowers from a local small business that blows away anything you can buy online... Always fresh flowers, personal assistance from knowledgeable and friendly staff, beautiful custom arrangements, and really great prices. They will work with you to create really stunning arrangements that fits any price range. I paid half of what I would have online. Flowers aren't just flowers to them, it's their life. They made me look like the best husband, as my wife's reaction to the flowers they helped me arrange was priceless. She loved what I got her and they knew exactly what flowers to put together, even though I know nothing about flowers. They really are true artists, and good down to earth people. Can't praise Berger Flowers enough.

Not a good experience ordered delivery for my GF birthday, flowers (which were not arranged properly and almost dead), stuffed animal - they sent a cow (yes a cow, to a girl on her birthday) and the chocolate box was decent. spent over $130, which was not worth it at all.

I generally don't focus on negative reviews as from time to time things happen and your experience is not what was expected - perhaps expectations are higher than reality. In my experience, much of what was shared on these posts is the reality. Flowers are nicely cut and arranged. Delivered on time. The good stuff is definitely there. However, the negative is there too and it appears the owner has done little to nothing to make things better for the customer experience in the past few years as many of the resposnes I read from 2+ years ago still hold true today. What you see on their website is not what is actually delivered or what you pay for. Her "recipe" as the owner called it only calls for a small amount of flowers while the pictures on their website portray a full bouquet. I called to get a better understanding, perhaps the wrong bouquet was delivered or maybe I missed some small detail on the website. If you need to talk with them, be ready for anything...it's always your fault and the customer is NOT always right in their eyes, even when you aren't trying to BE right. In speaking with the (what I assume to be) owner of the company about my questions, the last thing she wanted to do was provide customer service. There was no care of my concern, even though I was simply asking a question. I was told the same as someone else here in these comments, that you can't go by what you see on the website...what am I supposed to go by when making a selection? Her response, "you should have just called me, and if you did you would have saved the $5 online ordering fee." There is a convenience charge for just that; being a convenience of ordering online when you don't have the ability, time, etc to call and walk through ordering something. The fee I was willing to pay for my convenience of doing this on my own time. The error was apparently my fault according to the owner, nobody elses. I should have known better? I should have called my order in? Why do you have a website? Call it false advertising, bait and switch, etc. Her "recipe" for the arrangement called for 5 flowers but the picture showed 12...and I'm supposed to know this how? It's not listed anywhere, no fine print, nothing of the sort for me to validate...I even asked where I could have made that error - it's not there. It's just on her recipe, at her store, with her and nobody is allowed to see it like it's some sort of secret sauce. In conversation, the owner's tone was immediately negative, a "don't come at me" attitude even though my position was not one of compliant, just asking for clarity and recommending a change for future customers so that others (like you that are reading this) don't make the same mistake that I apparently did. Give more detail, provide realistic pictures, perhaps spend a few minutes on growing your business by improving the customer experience... She didn't care, didn't want to help or even offer help...it was more of a "how can I get you off the phone" mindset not really caring about her customers. While the arrangement was nice, it was far from worth the cost associated. Had the arrangement been what was depicted on their site, I'd be ok with the cost associated. That, after all, was what I believed I was paying for. You will get better customer service going to 1-800-flowers than you will trying to work with this owner. Sad to say that because I truly go out of the way to support local small business owners over the big box stores. Who am I to tell anyone what decision to make on where you do business...ultimately that decision is yours. If you are looking for advice, I would recommend calling before placing any order with this company to validate what you are getting for your money. Hope for the best, be prepared for less. Steer clear of their website, and be ready to go a couple of rounds with the owner if you disagree with something she says.

From unique arrangements we would send to each other to sympathy, get well, thinking of you, proms, homecomings and funerals, Kitty has provided excellent service, quality flowers all at affordable rates. At any time, I can call or stop in and I feel like I'm chatting with a good friend. It has been a delightful partnership all these years! Thank you Kitty and staff for being such a valued provider and participant in so many of our important events!
