Things of beauty tend to give me a moment of pause. Goodness knows I welcome any chance to stop, meditate, recharge and move forward. The artist @ Newtown Florist never disappoint in the creation of uniquely beautiful arrangements, wearable floral and centerpieces. Their knack to create floral symmetry in any fashion is top notch. When I peruse the other offerings in the flower shop, I find reason to stay awhile. Judy has provides us with countless items that promote respite. I always leave with something special. Discover.

I went in here for a wedding consultation. I explained to her what I was looking for but something seemed a bit off. She asked me about the flowers that I love. When I told her I didn't have any favorites, she immediately jumped to her next question and didn't give me a chance to tell her about the flowers I DON'T like (even though I don't have any must have flowers, I do have some types of flowers that I do not want to see). She also never asked me if there was a budget I was trying to stay under or even around. She assumed that because our wedding would be small and intimate that we didn't want to spend a lot (which is not the case). With that said, her quote was the lowest we received (by almost half) however her vision was also smaller and not as visually appealing as the other florists. With all that being said, Newtown Florist was not the best fit for me. Side note - their shop is beautiful!!

Bought roses for the Valentine's Day. The charge for a dozen roses was $91! That's almost $8 per rose. Despite the price being a robbery, I wouldn't have written a negative review if I got some value for the money. The roses died within a week. And yes, they were taken care of properly. When I buy roses they typically last more than than that and the cost a fraction of that cost. I feel stupid for wasting close to $100 for old flowers. If you charge that much, at least have the decency to ensure that your product is fresh.
